If you're driving down a residential area, don't worry you're on your way to Prismatic Coffee. It's such a physically located hidden gem, but definitely a place I recommend you come if you love your coffee and vibes. And don't forget about your breakfast sandwich! Staff are friendly. Lots of parking both in a lot and street. There are plenty of walking paths around if you like your coffee with a walk. I got both a regular hot latte and a cold brew, and highly recommend both. Well balanced drinks, and I ended up buying some beans because I loved the flavor. With your coffee don't forget to get a breakfast sammie. It's made in a biscuit which is so flaky and buttery. You can get both meat and veggie fillings. I got mine with the garlic aioli (since I love garlic) but you can get it with a basil herb spread if you like it more mild. 3rd time going, we sat outside since it was nice & sunny, the service was pretty good. My friend and I got matchas and they were pretty good. The real standout was my husband's fall specialty drink, The Gramasalata, it was soooooo good!! We got a lot of food and there were a few hiccups on that end; our friend's sandwiches had the wrong sauce on one so the roasted garlic aioli alludes us once more, but the basil was still good. My husband and I had our food come out 20 minutes after theirs which felt kinda long and the waffles weren't very warm, the Turkish delight flavor was amazing but def not poached eggs at all they came out hardboiled so that was not great either. We knew they were busy so we figured maybe it was one of those days Overall we would still come by and give it another shot for sure!! We love this place read more

Updated review to reflect accuracy of experience. The staff should have stopped taking other customers orders to assist with this instead of carrying on like nothing happened. That's not embarrassing for the customer, but to the staff behind the counter. Not the cook! The people taking the orders. Amazing coffee from an artisan roaster hidden away in an enclave of homes. Search this one out as it's truly special, with well curated and beans roasted in-house. It's surprisingly large inside, with warm surroundings and ample seating. Can hardly wait to visit again and so glad we took the extra time to search this out. I had a delicious Cortado, my wife and daughter had lattes that were flavored and I won't judge that but they said they loved them as well. read more

(Bring back the biscuits and gravy!!) the service is generally fast but when they're super busy it can take up to 20 mins sometimes. Worth the wait. The seating is nice, they have a few couches and it's very easy to bring my infant with me either in a car seat, stroller or sit him on the couch with me. Prismatic Coffee! Is the place to get coffee for a good cup of Joe! The "Governor's Cup" if you know you know' I grew up here and move pretty far away, once I heard about the soft opening, I couldn't resist making my way down. 2h drive for me is a well worth the pour. I ordered a 16oz 5 shot Vanilla Latte. It's was absolutely delicious with a big pick me up. Shots were flavorful and weren't burnt. The atmosphere and area was very cozy, and perfect spacing will give you enough space to converse without impeding on others. Outside seating during other times of the year look to be really nice with small park next door and a thrift type shop as well. I grew up in Salem and the Governor's Cup was one of my all time favorite coffee spots downtown! So to see this, I know where I'll be at when I come through. Highly recommend this place over any other. The service was absolutely friendly, and as any good cup of coffee it took just the right amount of time to create an amazing flavored cup! Been here for coffee and breakfast 3 times. First time coffee was tepid, next two times asked for extra hot. Both times above tepid but not hot. When I asked the barista about coffee not being hot today, he answered it was as hot as he could make it without scalding the milk. This is the last time, I will give Prismatic my business. The coffee here is fantastic, with some unique offerings. I ordered the "I can't decide", a brown sugar/honey drink, and it was just what I want in a latte. They offer matcha, chai, drip, etc as well. The vibe of the shop is great, it's clearly a community focused space and almost everyone in the room had a smile on their face. The Yelp map is bogus--this coffee shop is in Pringle Village. If you make sure to enter and exit off Lindburg Rd., it's pretty easy to find, but if you wander into the new subdivisions up on the hill, you can get seriously turned around. I was there on a weekday morning, when the residents were at work. On weekends, residents park on the street (no alternative) and congestion can be severe. The shop is in one of the old Fairview warehouses and in terms of charm and atmosphere, this shop cannot be beat, and seating is various and abundant. My mocha was competent, no better than my other favs, and price was in line with the competition. The pastries are from Manna Bakery. Hard to put a finger on it, but maybe not as welcoming for seniors as the Urban Grange. read more

We stopped in to Prismatic today (Sunday) and had great coffee in their pretty new space. They were very busy but we were greeted with excellent service, smooth cappuccino and mochas and comfortable seating. They are worth the drive out to the old Fairview property for the experience. Looking forward to trying out the menu once they have food up and running. A real gem! read more
