I liked this place. On the way back from Portland we wanted to stop for a coffee and this was one of the closer ones off the freeway. We got a smoothie and a a breve chai, and both were quite good. One of the employees was taking orders in the line, though there were only a few of us waiting, but our drinks were ready for us by the time we got to the window. (It's kind of like the Tardis in there, so they may have had a dozen folks making drinks for all I know.) Staff was friendly and I do appreciate their speed. read more

A first timer here while visiting Salem and I chose their Biscoff Cookie Butter Cold Brew to try out. The cold brew was alright - a simple iced cold brew but didn't really get any flavor of Biscoff aside from the Biscoff cookie they give you with the drink. Might have to try out another drink next time. Aside from the drink itself, the service was great! Very friendly and outspoken employees. I used to love coming to this location, and I am an avid Bentley's drinker, however, within the last three months, this location has gone downhill tremendously. Customer service is extremely lacking. The vibe is totally off when I came in today. The girl who took my order was not very polite. She did not verify if I wanted whipped cream on my blended Oreo and the vibe was just really off, she was not friendly either, so I don't know if I'm going to continue coming to this location anymore or if I need to find a new place to go get my drink because Bentley's used to be all about customer service. Both drinks were delicious. The service was friendly but not obnoxious (I'm looking at you Bros.) so I appreciated not feeling like I was being whacked over the head with cheesy "friendliness" or whatever they call it in Dutch. This is the best coffee and espresso in Salem. Coming from New York, I was disappointed in a few different places I tried but then I found Bentley's! They make the best coffee and although their only milk alternative is almond, they make an amazing almond based latte. Get the sugar free white chocolate - it is amazing. Wish they had a bigger operation, fingers crossed that they get one in the future! This is my FAVORITE coffee place ever! Unfortunately I do not live in Salem anymore so rarely get to stop in but always go out of my way when I am in town. Almost everything is made in house. I love that I can get a sugar free peanut butter mocha with their house made ground peanut butter and house made sugar free syrup. A few keto friendly options. They always have specials with fresh fruit, seasonal drinks etc. They even do stamp cards which is great considering some large chains have done away with this. I hope they expand south! read more

My go-to coffee joint in Salem. I'm pretty boring and only drink iced americano's, but they make a good one here. I did try the Oreo on a past visit, but wasn't overly impressed. It kind of tasted like a stale Oreo (not my favorite). The yogurt parfait is delicious, and one of my favorite things for breakfast. That's what it tastes like? Idk) But I love LOVE the oreo, Caramel macciato and Chai! Also if you're a whip cream addict like me you have to HAVE to specify that you want it. They don't usually put it on anything! But I do love the place and the workers are very sweet. Some people say "fake sweet" but have you ever worked in retail? For the past year and a half I've went here almost 4 times a week and I treated my staff to a weekly "Bentley's run." The blended mochas are to die for (Oreo, peanut butter, Nutella, and mint cookie), and they have the BEST fusion drinks-my personal favorite is the peach fusion with risq energy. My ABSOLUTE favorite drink is their seasonal Candy Land drink-peach risq with gummy peach rings, sour gummy worms, and gummy sharks. It's a diabetics worst nightmare and my childhood dream drink. I was devastated when they ended it after summer-however, my midsection is very grateful. I've slowed down my sugar addiction and have stayed away for a few months now but I literally think about stopping by every single day. Very rude service for walkup customers. I didn't expect special service, but waiting in line with 10 cars with a baby is dangerous. I asked if I could place my order and just get it when it was my turn. (Not asking for cuts in line) The barista was incredibly rude.
