Great service and suggestions! I always forget about whipped cream Tried the pastries and a blended coffee and really enjoyed. Love the low key ambiance and vibe. Outdoor seating available too. Great coffee find will be back. Love Dallas Oregon

Free birthday drink

Coming on here to kindly disagree with the last review...this place is hands down the BEST coffee shop in the valley. And I say that as a coffee snob! Not only is it locally owned, but they do all the little things that most coffee shops don't do anymore (especially the large chains). They still do punch cards, they compensate you if drinks take longer than usual, they add whip and bean to drinks for free, free pup cups/dog treats, their sizes are fairly large for the price, they don't ask for tip, they don't ask you to "sign up online" or for your ID for a free bday drink, they do things for the local community regularly...I could go on and on! And all these little things are the things that keep me coming back time and time again over going to Starbucks or Dutch Bros...and that isn't even getting into how DELICIOUS the coffee is! They do a wonderful job at creating new drinks each month and they take care in making each drink the right way (mixing the flavor in with the espresso etc). Their syrups are top tier too! The employees are usually young adults that live in Dallas, and are always super sweet....maybe they don't chat you up as much as Dutch Bros, but some of us don't want that. And the prices are on par with every other coffee shop in 2026. Anyways, that was a long way of saying don't listen to the negative reviews...go get the best coffee ever and support local businesses!! :)

This a thank you little coffee shop. They have about five or six tables. The atmosphere is pretty hip Portlandish like. I barista are the friendly and helpful. They do sell coffee by the pound and few other things. The bathroom is very clean. There is plenty of parking in the back. There she is

I walked in and the ladies working greeted me kindly. They gave me space to decide (so many good choices!) which is always nice, as someone who can sometimes be indecisive. I got a coffee and a cake donut which were both excellent! Parking and indoor/outdoor seating are both plentiful. Very nice vibes.

Karma Macchiato Medium(24oz) and large(32oz) size

My drink which is iced "Black&White" ( white mocha if I could discribe) is flavoursome and aromatic, not too strong and not creamy...Medium size is 24oz, Large size is 32oz both for $10.25 . Don't order large unless if you want to be awake all day. Nice employees and very clean inside the shop. My new favorite.

Chai half sweet half spicy with wipp and coffee bean

I mean you blink and you're through it. What a poor attitude I had and I'd missed out for so many years. One Friday night I decided hubby and I would drive out and try it. It was PACKED. We hadn't rea9they were doing a geology fundraiser that night. The place is small, and has limited hours so be sure to check that out if you plan on going. But in the summer there is outdoor seating. The menu was small and on a chalk board as you enter. Only about 8 pizzas or so to choose from and all one size... very large. We later learned the top few pizzas are ways available as a choice. The bottom ones change depending on the local ingredients they receive. Love that. We couldn't decide between a few and when we got to the counter were told we could do any two and they'd do a half and half. Yay! We decided to be brave. Half pepperoni and half apple, bacon, a d honey. Yup. Sounded odd to us too. That's why we were brave! While standing in line we noticed all of the baked goods on the counter. There was a cheesecake with one slice removed that had been brick oven baked and hubby was debating getting a slice, but decided against it. The pizza did take a little longer than I would have liked to arrive to our table. But, again, they also were slammed due to the fundraiser. They stopped by our table several times to assure us it would still arrive. When it did.... yummmm. Perfect thin crust a d wood fired pizza. That odd pizza? Yeah, we couldn't get enough of it. Hubby later went in to get another drink and noticed the cheesecake was near gone. So he made sure to grab a slice anyway lol. I don't do cheesecake, but hubby said it was delicious!! We highly recommend the Bread Board and are looking forward to going again this summer when they have live music.

We were heading to visit family in the area for dinner and were asked to bring dessert. While…read moredriving through Stayton, my wife remembered The Lovin Oven from years ago. We also recalled that there was some connection to Gerry Frank's Konditorei in Salem, which immediately caught our interest. After doing a little research, we discovered there's a deep and fascinating history linking the two businesses. The Lovin Oven began in 1983, when founder Doreen Helmemn operated the bakery out of her home. In 1993, the business expanded into a small storefront in downtown Stayton after being purchased by Mike and Valerie Schultz. Mike, who was formerly a logger, was personally taught cake decorating by the original founder, an origin story that adds to the bakery's charm and authenticity. One of the most interesting details we learned is that The Lovin Oven is the primary baker for Gerry Frank's Konditorei in Salem, a partnership that dates back to the 1980s. That relationship grew even stronger in 2017, when the Schultzes became co-owners of the Konditorei. Many people enjoying desserts at high-end restaurants throughout the region may not realize that their cakes were baked in Stayton. The Lovin Oven is especially well known for its Champagne Raspberry cake, Marionberry cheesecake, and an impressive variety of gourmet bars and cookies. Their menu also includes cakes, cheesecakes, cinnamon rolls, brownies, cupcakes, and more, something for just about every dessert preference. The bakery itself is housed in an industrial-style building that includes the production bakery, a storefront, and a small seating area where you can enjoy your treats on site. The outside is a unique with a black painted brick exterior. The customer facing area of the inside is industrial. We picked up a selection of cupcakes to take to dinner and were quickly back on the road. The cupcakes were a hit, everyone loved them, and they disappeared fast. It felt great to share something local with such a rich backstory. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we're glad we stopped. If you find yourself passing through Stayton or looking for high-quality desserts in the Willamette Valley, The Lovin Oven is absolutely worth checking out.
