AMAZING coffee, and art I'd recommend getting their mocha. Perfect service fast and efficient Ambiance was so comfortable and warm 5/5

I had been very excited to come. The building itself is fantastic. Very clean very modern. I ordered a blackberry and jasmine sparkling tea. For $4.25 I got a miniature tasteless drink. My daughter ordered a nitro caramel cold brew. The first drink was wrong it was made with chocolate instead. When she received her correct coffee all she could taste was burnt0 coffee. Also priced at $4.25.. The only redeeming quality this place had was the Marion Berry with lemon drizzle donut from Doughhook donuts off of lancaster dr. The girl behind the counter was rude and moved at the pace of a snail. I would rather go to Bentleys.

I'm here quite a bit since it's just a walk away from my home; overall, it's a decent coffeeshop option. Large, open space, lots of seating (for larger groups and solo folks or pairs), and excellent espresso drinks, and kombucha on tap along with a nice selection of pastries and bagels. A few quirks - they seem to regularly be out of plates at 9am, so my "for here" pastry is often handed to me in a paper bag. They've got two high chairs for kiddos, but one has broken straps despite me letting several different staff know about it over the past few months. And, although the pastries are great (Dough Hook!), avoid the morning glory muffin - it's raw-ish in the middle about half the time. (Darn that tricky gluten-free baking.) Also, Broadway Commons - the building that houses the coffeehouse - is owned by Salem Alliance Church (which is across the street), so the place often has a church-y vibe. Lots of Bible study groups, individuals reading Jesus-y looking books, etc. And although there's a large parking lot, spots can be hard to find around church service times.

This is a very interesting coffee and tea house in Salem. It has a lot of space for studying and hanging out with a wide variety of comfy seating situations. On a Sunday afternoon it was filled with college kids and study groups. It made me feel old. I spent 6 years of my life in college, caffeinated, overextended, and tired. Well I am still tired, overextended, and caffeinated I guess :( But at least my degrees are done! I was here with a companion waiting for my child and friends to be done with their anime con in Keizer. I had already had coffee in Portland but was up for tea and a snack. It was just right. We liked the little teapots and cups, and the cookies were pretty good. I would come back. I did tell the kids they have to get themselves to the con next time though.

I think Salem has lots of great coffee shop gems, but Broadway I think is the best. The service is good, lines can be long but there's a reason for it. My cappuccino never has burnt sour notes and they serve Coava cold brew- the most chocolatey delicious cold brew you'll have. The baristas are excellently trained and they have amazing bagels from dough hook. The coffeehouse is a great place to meet friends or colleagues, but if you need to make calls it can be loud and echoey from the tall ceilings. I love this place lots and will be so excited to come back when visiting the area.

Business observes Mask Mandate and has an amazingly friendly staff. I was looking for a coffee house where I could sit and do some work and some end of year planning. After looking at different places throughout Salem, this one stood out as a good place to visit. VIBE & PARKING Parking is easy and when I came in the door off the street, the place was clean, spacious, and had a good vibe with decent music. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent! Friendly staff who put up with my espresso inquiring. The barista spoke intelligently about her espresso and dialed a draw in for me. ESPRESSO: They had two different espressos offered. The 1300 was my first choice... excellent! I had a second one to make sure... yes... delicious! Served with seltzer water... great experience. Amazing to best espresso in Salem Oregon that I have had thus far! BOTTOM LINE: Worth the drive... excellent vibe... glad I tried!

Everything is great! Except internet speeds. 3.9 mbps upload, 3.3 mbps download. Great seating. Lots of space and power ports, ample parking. Lots of sunlight.

Was sitting out side and was told to put a shirt on. There is no signs stating that at all.

It is bad form to not have a dedicated cashier. Instead, the only cashier there is busy making tea, toasting a bagel, on and on.

Oh my gosh I don't know where to start! Everything I ordered was a solid 10/10 & that doesn't…read morehappen too often LOL. Started out with the giant tower of whip cream'd hot chocolate! House made of course so it's even better than the store bought stuff in my opinion because it tastes like actual chocolate. I ordered the filet minion chicken fried steak and it was cooked to perfection. So juicy inside and crispy but not like overly cooked crispy on the outside! Topped with a hot gooey layer of house made sausage gravy. The overall size of this steak was about as big as my face. To complement this enormous steak was eggs, a biscuit & some smashed Yukon potatoes..like they were literally small potatoes they just smashed which was really different to me because I've never seen that before. I also had to order the infamous cinnamon roll pancake I been seeing floating around on other people's reviews. IT IS A MUST.. and if you are ordering it to take home make sure you have a piece of it while it's still hot and fresh because that was to die for. I won't go more into detail about it you just have to try it. It will speak for its self. Overall the dinning experience was great! Servers were more than happy to get you whatever you need. We sat at the bar so y'all should try their drinks because they looked so good and the bartenders looked like they were having fun making them. The restaurant is a literal house and while charming it is small and packed inside and the parking lot is also really small so you may need to get there early or expect to park somewhere else in the streets. We got there an hour after they opened and it was only a 30 minute wait thankfully. Will be coming back again to try other menu items!

Stairs up to entry was very dangerous with waiting customers using handrails on both sides, then,…read moreno landing at the top! We told hostess we did not want to sit at the bar, she sat us at the bar, after some more wait, we did get a table. Coffee was ok, but the cups were huge, always 2/3 full of cold coffee. The food took one hour to find our table. Nothing special, my wife had an omelet, with a big glob of Brie cheese, overpowering the omelet. I had corned beef hash that was extremely dry and salty. I also had warm rye bread. Not toasted. We were half done with our breakfast, and was given the bill, and boxes to go. Very rushed, crowded, and expensive. $58 for sub-par breakfast for 2. Sorry WOM, didn't cut it.
