I've now visited Urban Grange Coffee over a dozen times, and each visit has been better than the last. Consistently remarkable technique, fast and friendly service, and an always clean and cozy interior make Urban Grange the perfect place to visit for a work-from-home getaway. This cafe has something for everyone, with drinks that range from a well-pulled traditional "spotted" macchiato to the most intense sugar bombs you've ever seen. Any drink can be made with medium, dark, or decaf roasts. The music is kept low but audible, never overwhelming, and always well-curated. The seating varies from small tables along the wall with plenty of outlets, to cozy leather loungers, to folding chairs along the covered patio. The final thing I should note is the bagels. There's a great variety (including pumpernickel!) but limited stock, so come early or be ready to adjust your order. There are no bad options here, so it's not worth stressing about.

Sooo much seating and different rooms to explore, big tables/couches for large groups and plants everywhere. I didn't ask about their bookshelf but they had great reads that are popular now, not sure if they were for sale or if you could just borrow them while you're there. The servers were all very friendly and nice! I got a matcha lavender latte with coconut milk and my husband got the Smooth Criminal seasonal hot latte. Both are SO GOOOOD!!! A little heavy on the lavender flavor but the sweetness balances it out, and his caramel bourbon latte was so delicious!

The workers are pretty nice, but sometimes a little inattentive if they don't want to be the person taking orders. It's in a pretty convenient location right next to the gym, but the parking isn't as convenient. The savory food was pretty bland, but their pastries are pretty good quality (if not a little too sweet for my personal taste). Coffee is okay, a bit better than average. Wish I could give a shoutout to the nice young lady that helped me out. She was super patient with me.

You order at the counter and then you get a number to take with you and place at whichever seat you choose. Drinks and food both came out really quick. I tried the bees knees which had honey, lavender, rosemary and simple syrup with a dash of black pepper. I did not see nor taste the black pepper but I was a huge fan of this drink. It wasn't overpowering in any of the flavors and the rosemary sprig made it look so cute. I got the breakfast potato hash with no tomatoes and it was a delicious and filling breakfast. The potatoes were so good my group wouldn't stop helping themselves to them. I added some hot sauce as it was in the dryer side but still really good. I also tried the matcha coconut scone. It had a pretty matcha green color but it was hard to taste the matcha or coconut and it was quite dry. Service was quick and friendly. The inside is really beautiful and we couldn't help but do a little photoshoot, so many fun backgrounds! Things to note: Restroom shared with other businesses close by businesses and metered street parking only.

Which is a huge bummer because it's super cute inside, and it would appear to be very community based. The pastries were great though, we got the cruffin, salt & herb bagel with garlic schmear, one of the special sandwiches, a danish and the cinnamon cream cheese roll. All of those were great! The coffee was hit or miss for some of us; got a latte with raspberry and vanilla that was great. The matcha is mushroom based so I didn't feel like experimenting with that. The service was a bit odd because (among other things) when we got our drinks she didn't know which lattes were which, and when asked basically gave a IDK and left. Not sure with all the great coffee shops if I'd be running back here, but it definitely has potential!

None of the trendy hipster "coolness" that has come to rankle me in other popular coffee shops. I've had some delicious pastries and excellent drinks, including coffee and non-coffee specialties like their golden milk latte which is unique and amazing. Comfy space, high ceilings , exposed brick. My only feedback is that they serve their bagels to go with a cup of cream cheese and a sliced bagel. This is common, but I don't understand why anyone would want to spread cream cheese on their own bagel when they're on the road. It would be like ordering a sandwich and a stack of meat, cheese, lettuce, and bread and asked to assemble that while you're driving. That's literally my only complaint and it's a small one. I will be a Regular at this coffee shop, bagels be damned! lol.
