Dutch Bros Coffee - Some of the options - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Finally a Dutch bros I can tolerate being at. Everyone was very nice & professional. That being said, most of my experiences at Dutch Bros is a nightmare. The coffee is always great but they have an extreme way of training their employees. They normally don't shut up and really over do the conversation while ignoring social cues. If I haven't had my coffee yet please don't ask me my whole life story when I'm clearly not interested in speaking. I refuse to go to Dutch bros when I'm not chipper enough to handle their intense energy. Now I have found a Dutch bros with normal employees. THANK YOU BLESSSS please spread awareness of how overbearing they train their employees to be. Its driving away customers. Report this to the dutch brothers themselves if they are alive. read more

Best Dutch. Organized and can handle busy times, in and out. As opposed to the shit show of the Gilbert road establishment. Please go help train the other location. read more

For the longest time I drove by and never gave it a second look. I'm not a big coffee person (shhh don't tell anyone). Then I discovered rebels! Game. Changer!!! This location is my absolute fave. I adore the workers and their big hearts. I took my daughter for a Dutch run after she had an EEG and she told them all about how she had to stay up late and woke up early, they made her cup super festive and peep that smile. The coffee is great, the rebels are great but the people in the stand are the heart, they're the reason people come back time and time again. They're a hit with all of our families! Good work dutch! read more

Staff at this location are friendly. Got my usual green tea but super disappointed with Dutch Bros' decision to change their lids. Seem super unsanitary as the hole on the lid is large enough for "stuff" to fell in my drink....which is exactly what happened as I was driving home. I requested a stopper or cover...nothing was available. I understand the desire to get rid of straws but if you plan to continue with these lids, the least you could do is cover the big hole! Not trying to make a big deal, but not worth buying drinks if One can't drink it :-( read more

I have quite literally been coming to Dutch Bros every day for ten years and when I say Emma is the best broista I've ever had I mean it. She is so friendly authentic easy to build connections with and beyond helpful/knowledgeable. She makes my experience at Dutch Bros ten times better every time I come through so I intentionally seek this location out give this girl a raise because she's worth it (: read more

I'd give no stars if I could...I actually really like Dutch Brothers Chai Tea but I needed a pick me up so I ordered a Rebel, I took the advice of the girl Helping me and got a Dino egg or something like that, first off the color was so unpleasant for a drink and second it tasted like garbage. I honestly took 2 sips then threw it in the trash. So gross what a waste of $4. read more

Husband went there this morning and he ordered a White Russian for me. I get the same thing every time. It's milky white in color. I knew instantly it was the wrong drink and it tastes disgusting. He went back and the person made the same drink and it tasted even worse than before. See picture below. Does that look like a White Russian????? They really felt bad after I went back in the afternoon and showed them the drink they made it fresh and new and right! Also corporate gave me a few free drink tickets as well. read more

Yummers! I like the coffee here. I like it more than the large box franchise competitor. I think the coffee tastes smoother and not as bitter. I like the idea of a small kiosk seeming store with an option of drive up service. I wish there were more locations, but then again, if that were so, prices may go up to cover costs of expending. Ugggh Perhaps keeping it small with less locations will keep the cost and quality the way it is. I will be back to try the chocolate coconut coffee drink. I hear it is Delish!!! read more

Most folks fancy coffee early in the wee morn wakin hours.... I needed my coffee in the late hours.....being the part Vampire that I am... this place is an Oregon Staple...ole Dutch Brothers... I used to get dutch brothers coffee when I lived in Oregon, and I was ecstatic when I heard they were opening a new location right near my apartment and on my route to work! I'm a classic kind of girl, so I go for the brewed coffee with cream, and the original dutch coffee brew if exactly what I need in the morning (and any time of day actually ;) ) The coffee is smooth and tasty, never burnt or bitter. And somehow always exactly the right temperature. This location gets really busy in the morning, but luckily they move pretty quickly and usually offer extra stamps on your stamp card if there's a really long wait. There was a long wait Friday morning and they gave me 4 stamps instead of one for my drink! Awesome! I also really like how the tax is already included in the prices. That just makes it easier to prepare my money in the car before I get to the window. This location offers walk-up or drive through, which is convenient, and the employees are super friendly and remember you. read more

Update: Sonia at Dutch HQ reached out and hooked me up with some stamps and stickers. I appreciate her efforts and am willing to give them another shot. I was pissed when I wrote this review below, but I'm changing it to 5 stars because I feel like one bad experience can be forgiven when effort is made to resolve what happened. Thanks Sonia hopefully the staff at this location can be educated on the stamp situation so nobody's else gets falsely accused of some shenanigans Dutch bros has decent coffee, this one is right by my work so I come here a lot. Tonight I ordered a drink and looked forward to using my stamp card that had collected 10 stamps for a free drink. When I went to the window to give it to them, they said the stamps looked fake and they couldn't use it. They were 100% real, and the person, I wish I got her name, she had glasses and a piercing on her upper lip, told me I couldn't use them because they were fake. I understand from their perspective they must protect from fake stamps, but these were not fake, so it shows inconsistencies on their part. I also don't appreciate being called a thief and liar for something I didn't do. These employees always put on a attitude and tonight were totally disrespectful. Won't be coming back here. read more

Not taking orders before the window and no signage saying otherwise. Just waited 30+ minutes for a drink and couldn't get out of line. #notevenclosetoworthit read more

This is my go to Dutch. But today just really annoyed me. Why would the chick wedge my card in between the iPad and the iPad cover conveniently on the side that has the highest tip? Then while struggling to get it out without touching the screen I end up still touching the iPad screen giving the highest tip I didn't intend on giving for one coffee and don't have the option of hitting back to correct it? Well your card wedging works. I'm sure you're getting plenty of unintended tips because of it. Work on passing someones card back into their hand as they gave it to you. Or maybe just not wedging it between a case and a touch screen?????? read more

What a fun place. It has a great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and laid back. The cool nature of the employees rubs off on the patrons too. They put everyone in a good mood. They have coffees and smoothies. I ordered the Caramelizer coffee for me and a Green Apple smoothie for the daughter. Both were very good. The Apple smoothie had a candy flavor to it. read more

I am a huge Dutch lover but this stand is so so slow and inefficient I waited in line 45 min and there weren't even that many cars :(

Never knew what a true coffee shop is like till I came here, beyond friendly atmosphere where it is ok to hold up the line to ask for recommendations. And if you do not like coffee they make tasty Italian Cream sodas, Austin knows his flavors. Go ahead and try Raspberry Lime and White Chocolate ( I know crazy sounding but tasty)! Drivers beware. This location is routing customers through a plaza parking lot where there is an empty built in planter you can't see. I crashed into it, the car behind me backed up and drove around it and the car behind it crashed into it. It's a road hazard that Dutch Brothers has not taken any measures to protect its customers. In fact, they blame the owners of the plaza. Just be very careful you don't get into a minor accident spending your hard earned money at Dutch Bros where their unsafe lot is not their problem. read more

My only wish is that Dutch Bros was closer to me! I've heard some mediocre things about the locations in Tempe, but I've only ever been to this location, and I've never been disappointed. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and amazingly energetic. The drive thru usually moves pretty quickly; when the line is long, they'll have someone run out and take your order beforehand so that your drink is all ready to go by the time you reach the window. If for any reason there are people going through before you that are taking a while or your drink is taking a little longer to be made, someone working will usually hang out by the window and chat. I had to wait for maybe 2 minutes one time, and the worker gave me 9 extra stamps -for the record, that's only one drink away from a free one! I'm in love with the white mocha and the annihilator, but the caramelizer and chai are pretty good as well. I also hear great things about the double chocolate mocha and their lemonade, I'll have to try those sometime. In my opinion, it's a little bit on the pricey side ($4.25 for a medium) but definitely well worth it. I can't thank my roommate enough for introducing me to Dutch Bros! Unfortunately, my wallet doesn't feel the same way. read more

Very friendly staff but it took way too long. Waited in drive through 17 minutes to have my order taken (11 car in front of me). Took another 10 minutes to get my coffee. Only 1 girl taking order while 6 girls inside 2 making the coffee. They seem to be confused about the orders as well. Maybe that's why the wait is so long...? read more

I adore this location! I have to be honest, before I came to this location I was not big on Dutch Bro's but now I find myself wanting it more. You may have to wait somewhat but it'll be worth it. The staff here is awesome at keeping the line moving in a timely manner. The last few times I've gone here, I like to ask the staff what they like and recommend and they are quite helpful, and even ask what I'm looking for. Staff is so so friendly and so easy to talk to, making the wait worth it. Of course, the drinks are excellent as well! Totally awesome location! read more

I was having a bummer day and decided to stop by Dutch Bros for the first time ever. My day was instantly brightened by the girl working the drive-thru. She was so friendly and uplifting. She gave me so many ideas for drinks and walked me through all of their options. I don't know if she could tell I was having a bad day but she gave me my drink for free. BTW my drink was AMAZING!! I will 100% be back. They made my day. Thank you so much for being so awesome! read more

My boyfriend and I just recently moved to Arizona from Oregon and we've missed Dutch Bros so much, so after finding out that there's Dutch Bros out here as well we were so happy to get our hands on an iced annihilator! Drinks from this location taste nothing like other locations. Line will have 2-3 people in front of you and you'll be sitting there for 45 minutes waiting for your drink. Do better on multitasking and not having a 15 minute conversation with EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. PLUS half the time when I go here one of the workers has an attitude read more

Love Dutch Bros!! Especially this location! The staff here is awesome and always fun to talk to! Today, my pup and I went to this DB stand and had a great talk with Lainey (hopefully that's how you spell it)! The gal running the window with blue streaks in her hair was super sweet too! Some reviews say there is a long wait and there usually is somewhat of a wait but it's always worth it especially on sticker day! :) read more

Had my first Dutch Bros experience this week, definitely good stuff. Went back a second time already for their Annihilater coffee and was happy with the product. My stop on the way to church! They are nice and hospitable. This one usually has a shorter line too. My only complaint is occasionally I get someone who forgets to log my syrups as sugar free so I always double check here. read more

If you have an allergy, DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. My roommates and come to this Dutch every month on the 1st to get their sticker. It's a fun Tradition for all of us. Normally we go in the early afternoon but yesterday we went at about 10 PM. I have an allergy to whole milk and my roommate has an allergy to every milk besides almond we ordered our drinks with the correct milk and when our drinks were handed to us we heard them ask someone is this the almond and she said "it's my best guess" and proceeded to giggle. This morning after drinking my coffee that I saved from last night I began to have terrible stomach cramps. I soon realized that the coffee I drink was not made with the correct milk. I have been in pain all day because of this mistake. I have never had trouble with Dutch Bros but after this experience I am wondering if they can be trusted to deal with an allergy. Use caution when visiting this location in the later evening. It was also very obvious to me that the employees were not taking our time seriously. When we got in line there were about three cars ahead of us the line took as long as it would if it was wrapped around the building. After we ordered the car behind us even started flashing their lights because they were tired of waiting. I felt bad for the girl who was taking our order. She had to ask repeatedly for them to start making the drinks and to grab a cookie for us everyone seemed preoccupied and not attentive. read more

I normally like this dutch BUT NOT TODAYYY. Today is a very special day as it is my sisters birthday. She wanted a simple drink..an iced caramelizar WITH whip...that is all. What did she get??? Four stars for the wait, five stars for the service. I love Dutch because they don't make you feel like you're being a pain in the butt when you ask for advice about what to order or what's in this or that. Always amazing and helpful. This is probably my least favorite Dutch bros :-( My drinks are always watered down. I wish they were more consistent. read more

Comparing this location to other Dutch Bros locations, this one might be my least favorite of all the ones I've visit. Which was super unfortunate when this Dutch Bros used to be the one on my way to work. I usually felt like the staff here had more of a snooty attitude compared to other locations that seem more welcoming. The line, long as at most every DB locations, also tends to be even longer at this one. But, it is a DBros so the quality and consistency of drinks is still great. read more
