This is my first time at a Dutch Bros. Coffee place, although I have consistently heard the raves about it. Watch out Starbucks, PEETS, and Philz! Maybe Blue Bottle, too? Nah, Blue Bottle is too boutique chic. I have to say that the outward appearance of these places reminds me of a paint store! Very Kelly Moore or Sherwin Williams. I suspect it is the bright primary colors on a neutral gray background that does it. Being totally unfamiliar with the process and product, I went into the teeny weeny little store in lieu of driving through as everyone apparently does. For lack of understanding the menu, I merely made a guess at a drink and got it, sort of a vanilla flavored ice drink (Golden Eagle?) with a good punch of coffee. It was quite good and refreshing. Service seemed to be on top of its game, a bit aloof, just better do more research before just popping in for something. I suspect that they have some amazing things... for $7.! read more

I have been a long time Dutch customer. When I moved to this area and had to find a new Dutch, this was the closest to my location. They have been amazing, one of the best locations I have ever visited. Igor and Carson went out of their way to learn my name or order within my first few visits! The lines are typically short and move pretty quick and my drink is always spot on!! The staff is always friendly and willing to assist customers! This Dutch Bros. is really great at providing speedy service. Every time I have gone, even if it seems like it will take a while, I have been able to get in and out in a few minutes. One of the three Dutch bro's I got to in this neck of the woods. The service is all the same. Friendly, smiley and you get what you ordered. Once in awhile there's a whole in the cup... maybe it's from the supplier. Dutch bro's you might want to take a look at that... Other than that, location is always busy. But coffee is always good. This location had great employees until recently. It seems like every visit, they're having a bad day. This time, there were two cars in front of me and I pulled all the way forward (as several signs ask). My order never got taken. When I got to the window, the employee told me to go to the back of the line since our order didn't get taken. I explained that we already waited in line and the other employee was taking orders behind us. She said I need to go to the back of line next time, but they'll make our drinks this time. The two employees were rude from the very beginning as if we cut in line or something. There was already about 4 cars behind me by the time I got up to window, I don't understand how it's fair to have me go to the back. And what is point of all the signs saying to pull forward if you're supposed to wait for an employee? Confusing, and their attitude about it sucked. read more

I have done the drive thru here and walked inside. This is one of the few walk in DBs in Sac area. Friendly employees every time I have visited. Helpful when I have ?s or can't decide/navigate their endless drink choices. My daughter and I LOVE us some Dutch. We have been to the Woodland and Davis ones. Only I have been to the Auburn Blvd one. Solid drinks. Big sizes. Pricey blended but not so much when you factor the large being 32 oz. Medium and small is more in line with other coffee spots. The large is a beast. I have had a hard time sleeping after large americanos from here. Haha. 32 ozers get a brutality bonus if not a fatality! Finish him! Mortal Kombat style! Their menu is massive. You can also make any drink the way you want it. DB is a true gem in our area. Iam unsure how far they extend outside of Sacto. If you haven't tried Dutch, you are missing out on some fun. not the most ideal location for a busy franchise coffee, but they make the best of what they got!! The area is small, but they have 2 lines that merge into one. I drove up and within seconds someone was at my window ready to take my order. I was in & out within 4 minutes even though there were 7 other cars in line!! The young lady that took my order was friendly and the guy at the pick up window was enthusiastic. I had their stoplight green tea which has pomegranate, passion fruit and kiwi. I really enjoyed it! It wasn't overly sweet and I tasted hints of each fruit throughout my cup. They don't have food like other coffee drive thrus but they do have muffin tops! I had the cranberry orange and it was delicious! Very moist, great size and a mix of sweet and tangy. My medium tea & muffin top came out to a little over $4. Great deal! read more

I am definitely new to Dutch Bros. Dutch Bros is a great local convenient coffee shop. From what I see, it is literally always busy-no matter day or night. Dutch Bros offers sparking soda in different flavors, smoothie type drinks, and many caffeine-infused blended drinks. For a quick on the go coffee, I would normally choose starbucks, but going to Dutch Bros, there is so much bang for your buck. The drinks are much larger and just as delicious-especially if you're in the mood for a sweet blended drink for a long drive, etc. Not all dutch bros are open 24 hrs, but there are many that are. Dutch bro's Carmichael... Another Happy and smiling location. Been coming since opening day and service is still there motto even on day one grand opening madness they were pumped with energy and good vibes as they still do this day to day. They have a cool walk up window and it is inside, so if its raining out or super hot you will be covered, there is probally enough room for about 8-10 people or so to be comfortable. Then the drive through is the weak link, it has 2 lanes before the wrap around the store. Which the main entrance is coming down winding way, or you can enter on manzanita ave. But it still can hold a good amount of cars. Just be careful on busy days, you might have to be inline for a bit. Like all the DB locations, they have thier specials, you can follow them on insta, FB, and/or even join the Text club. They have some cool stickers monthly, to cool items during the holidays. If you enjoy a sweet and creamy drink try the kicker, if your more of a coffee taste try the chuck norris. I was in the area yesterday going to a job interview and I saw they had a Dutch bros this made me very happy since I love Dutch bros they make the best drinks I wish they had a Dutch bros here I live when I came through the drive thru the girl who took my order was very sweet and very friendly and she repeated my order to make sure I was getting exactly what I ordered. I got a medium iced white chocolate latte extra sweet double cup with whip with white chocolate drizzle. It was amazing. It was definitely what I needed. I love Dutch Bros everybody so friendly, so friendly and I love the Dutch Bros app. in case you don't have the app, they don't do the stamp card anymore they have an app that you download and you sign up for an account and every time you go to Dutch Bros you pull out the app and they scan it and you earn points towards free drinks and who doesn't like free I highly recommend this establishment for anybody who is a coffee lover like myself they are awesome friendly, and they make the best drinks. Way too chatty. WAY. TOO. CHATTY. I get the desire/need to be friendly and polite, but frankly, I don't want to make small talk. I'm escaping the house and kids and I just want to listen to the news and not have to engage in forced conversation. I've literally seen employees carry on 15+ minute conversations with people AFTER they've handed them their drinks. Unacceptable. ALSO, I hope the car in front of you doesn't have a dog in it, because you'll be waiting an extra 10 minutes while the employees fawn all over it like they've never seen one before. Today is the Grand Opening of Dutch Bros in Carmichael located on the Corner of Manzanita Ave and Winding way. I've been to other Dutch Bros locations and this one is in the old Wendy's building. For a grand opening the staff is very organized the Drive thru is going really fast and if you're like me and want to walk inside it's even faster. The staff is really friendly and not skipping a beat. The parking lot is pretty small so parking on the street is the best option park at Windmill way and Manzanita Ave, the nearby business will have you towed FYI. I ended up ordering the norm Caramelizer with Almond Milk and a dairy free Strawberry Smoothie. I'm glad this location has opened as it the closest to my house only have to stay on Fair Oaks Blvd to Manzanita Ave. Yay! read more

Welcome the newest addition to the Dutch Mafia family! I've watched this location slowly develop over the past year, with its grand opening date pushed back countless times. Even a few weeks ago I ran into one of the guys who drives the logo emblazened truck and the date had been pushed back again! So finally they have opened... and brought the same stellar coffee and service to Carmichael! With the exception of Insight that just opened further down Fair Oaks Blvd there isn't a place to get good coffee in Carmichael. Until now! This location has one line, two windows, and an indoor lobby for those that actually get out of their cars to get coffee. It's open 5am-11pm. And it's awesome! read more

I'm not big on the taste of coffee but Dutch bros makes it just right for a person like me to get a tasty drink and pick me up when I need it. The staff here is awesome and always friendly. One day I was getting annoyed that they were so friendly then I realized, why am I even remotely bothered by kindness? It sure beats the alternative! I have never had any type of poor service, poor attitude, or lack rudeness at a Dutch Bros. So for that, I will put up with any chattiness that may seem excessive and remind myself if I'm getting annoyed then I'm the one that needs to check myself. The coffee is great but this location has a greedy franchisee and the drinks are nearly a dollar more here than at other nearby Dutch Bros. Reject greedy pieces of shi* and go to a different DB. I'm sure the greedy turd claims the minimum wage hike is responsible for the increase but that doesn't explain why other DB's had the same wage hike but aren't gouging their customers. read more

I've been stopping here two days a week every morning before work for awhile now. Called the store after noticing my $10 drink was made incorrectly, I was on hold for 15 minutes and eventually hung up. I just wanted to inform them because I couldn't drive back over there, but I couldn't even do that. I get the same thing every time! It was my first time to try Dutch bros, came here during Covid19. There is no walk-in the purchase, drive-through only. 2 girls work outside to take the order. I have to say the girls are so sweet and friendly service. Even wear a mask you can see they serve with a smile on. After place an order within 10mins at the pickup station. Again the staffs are super energetic and friendly service. Because they take a card only no signature required, I don't have a chance to touch the tablet, I do want to give them tips so when I get to pick up station I give cash tips, unfortunately, they don't take cash as well. Anyway, you see the girls work hard! Wish I can tips. For the drinks it was good, I really like they have so much variety flavors. wish I live nearby so I can try other drinks. I like this location. Usually not overcrowded and they don't make the coffee too hot to hold. The youthful energy is its strong suit. It's also the biggest detractor sometimes. They have a hard time keeping track of the order cars come in. There were 2 order takers today and I was stuck behind a behind a large order vehicle. As the 2nd order taker freed up she looked at me, and then and then a young buck in a white truck pulled up and she went immediately towards him and flirted for 3 minutes before even taking his order. They both looked at me as they were chatting. Pretty rude. If my order taker had actually asked me about the tip instead of automatically taking it, I would have declined it today. read more

The drinks are incredible, but that staff REALLY needs to tone it down. My friend and I decided to skip the drive thru and order inside. Excessively loud music and spontaneous shouting/cheering from the staff generated an uncomfortable environment, making us regret the decision immediately. As we waited for our drinks, I was nearly smashed by the kitchen door after one of the employees loudly and aggressively stormed into the lobby...to greet their friend. The experience was definitely the low point of an otherwise fabulous afternoon. Pardon the Boomer talk, but y'all really need to chill out. It's good to enjoy your job and make it fun, but it's still a place of business. You guys just lost two customers. read more

We've gone through the drive-thru twice now and luckily for us, the line and the wait was minimal. Thank goodness for clearly marked arrows, signs, and lane barriers that direct you where to enter, drive-thru, park, and exit in this teeny tiny lot. If I see more than 4 cars in line, I'm just going to keep driving down Manzanita, so as not to get caught in a traffic "clusterdutch" (HA-Get it? Did I just coin a new term?!! Actually, it sounds better when you're trapped in a long line at a Starbucks drive-thru ("clusterbuck")...but I digress). Last visit, the friendly guy at the window made the expected small talk, and I noticed customers inside the building. I asked if there were tables inside and he said no, they're just taking orders.
