I'm happy to have found a place locally here in Citrus Heights that makes my morning favorite- Acai bowl! Lot of ample parking, clean large open space with available tables. The woman/ owner- I didn't catch her name was ultra sweet and hospitable. I ordered the peanut butter protein bowl with extra nibs!!! Perfect size, light, and refreshing. Everything inside was absolutely fresh! The protein is plant based and not the type of protein you can taste, which makes it that much nicer. Hit the spot! I normally don't leave negative reviews, but after several experiences over time, I felt it was important to share my feedback. I've been coming here once or twice a week for quite some time, and I usually order the same drink. Most of the time I place a mobile order because I want to minimize my wait, especially before class. Unfortunately, I've frequently arrived after my 45-minute class only to find that my drink hasn't even been started, despite placing my order about an hour in advance. This defeats the purpose of mobile ordering. Even when ordering in person and being the only customer in the store, I've waited around 20 minutes for a single drink. The most concerning experience happened recently when I found multiple pieces of hair in my drink. At first, I assumed it was my own hair, but my hair is long and very dark, while the hairs in the drink were short and light brown. My friend and I both noticed it. As I continued drinking, I kept finding more hair. In total, I removed five pieces, with additional hairs stuck along the inside of the cup that I was able to see and retrieve with my straw. It was extremely unsettling. When I approached the counter, I politely asked for my drink to be remade and even apologized for the inconvenience. There were two employees working at the time, and the only response I received was, "Oh, okay." There was no apology, concern, or acknowledgment of how unacceptable the situation was. It left me feeling as though this wasn't taken seriously. My friend's drink was also made incorrectly, but she chose not to ask for a remake because there was already a line forming, and she didn't want to cause additional inconvenience. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointing. Employees often don't acknowledge customers waiting at the register. On multiple occasions, my friends and I have stood waiting while staff remained in the back room on their phones. In one instance, I made eye contact with an employee while waiting at the register, but instead of greeting us or letting us know what was happening, she walked away. About 15 minutes later, she returned and explained that she had gone on break or to the restroom and had forgotten to tell us. It was frustrating because she had clearly seen us waiting before leaving. These repeated experiences have honestly made me reconsider tipping. I believe tipping is a way to recognize good service, but it's difficult to feel comfortable doing so when the service is consistently unfriendly, customers are left waiting without communication, and drinks take an unusually long time to prepare. There have been several occasions where employees disappear into the back for extended periods before returning to make drinks, and their demeanor often makes customers feel like placing an order is an inconvenience. I genuinely enjoy the drinks here, which is why I've continued coming back despite these issues. However, I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as better communication, improved customer service, and greater attention to quality would make a significant difference. read more

Came here for the first time to trying their Acai Super Bowl. The spot is really clean and spacious. The customer service was ok. They only had one worker at the time. The bowl I ordered was great. Full of fresh and crisp fruits and ingredients. I decided to add goji berries, almond butter and almonds. Which are about $1 more each. Overall it was a great experience and bowl of flavor. Not the best I've ever had, but a great Acai bowl option in the area. read more

After a workout, this place is so hard to pass up. This smoothie shop is connected to a new gym in town called' "club studio." I went here once with a friend before the gym to meet up get some drinks as well as after my workout to chat it up a bit. It definitely serves its purpose in have a special place to just hang out post-gym! The menu has different types of drinks such chocolate based, creamy based or even fruity based. My friend recommended the soul smoother so I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS. I wanted something fresh and light after a workout and this is exactly what I needed. Plus, it was aesthetically pleasing! The price for this is a bit outrageous for a smoothie, but I would definitely splurge on the whole menu haha. Great new smoothie and bowl stop in the Citrus Heights area. It's located in a strip mall attached to the new Club Studio. I ordered the Blueberry Bliss smoothie with some popped protein chips. Smoothie was delicious. Very clean shop with good aesthetics. Service was good and enjoyed what I ordered. Will be back. read more

i'm writing this as someone who has been a consistent customer for about seven months (from september to now), so this isn't based on a one-time experience. i originally chose this place because i really appreciated the focus on plant-based ingredients and healthier alternatives, which is hard to find nearby. unfortunately, the way the business is managed and the level of customer service completely undermines that. there have been multiple occasions where i placed orders ahead of time, only to arrive and find that my order hadn't even been acknowledged. i can literally see it sitting on the screen, but staff just aren't paying attention--even when the store is empty. instead of being ready, my order ends up getting started only after i arrive, which defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead. there have also been times where i placed an order during business hours and showed up to an empty store with no staff present. when i tried to follow up hours later about a refund or remake, no one answered. on one occasion, someone did pick up--only to hang up, which was honestly shocking. on top of that, there's a complete lack of consistency. the same drink is made differently every time, which makes it hard to justify coming back when you don't know what you're going to get. the bigger issue, though, is the overall attitude from staff. there's a noticeable lack of professionalism and care toward customers. interactions often feel dismissive or unnecessarily rude, which makes the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. especially the newer one who has a ton of tattoos. one time i came to pick up my matcha and she screamed "WHAT'S STEVIA?" it's disappointing because this place has a great concept and a lot of potential. i've spent well over $1,000 here simply because of the convenience and proximity to my gym, but at this point, the repeated issues have made it clear that the business isn't being run in a way that values its customers. i really wanted to keep supporting this place, but the ongoing problems have made that difficult. read more

This place has the best Matcha Lattes in the area which are fairly priced. They make their own Almond Milk which once you try you won't stop comparing to everyone else. The other items I consider a little expensive and just ok but they also have some unique things to try in their shop you can try instead of ordering a whole case of on Amazon. read more
