After getting a very high quote from a major plumbing chain, we decided to contact Water Heater…read moreMasters. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Water Heater Masters. Alex sent our technician, Rojo, who helped install a new 40-gallon gas water heater in our indoor utility closet, and he was incredibly diligent, professional, and efficient from start to finish. Installing a tank in an inside closet can be tricky, but Rojo handled the entire job seamlessly in just 2 hours. He replaced everything with high-quality components, including: * New hot and cold water flex lines * A brand new water shut-off valve * A new gas flex line and sediment trap * Fully reworked earthquake straps (to meet California safety codes) * Properly updated T&P line and venting He also took care of the removal and disposal of our heavy 18 yr old tank, leaving the utility closet completely clean. If you want fair pricing, expert specialized service, and a technician who respects your time and home, call Water Heater Masters and ask for Rojo. Highly recommended!

We were replacing a gas water heater with a hybrid electric heat pump water heater. Generally, this…read moretype of heater costs twice as much (price and installation) as a traditional electric water heater, but costs a lot less to run (and therefore you recoup the additional cost in a few years from lower operating costs). I had a very easy experience getting an on-site quote. I received 3 quotes for this job. 2 quotes, including this one, came in around $7100. I went with a third one at around $6700 (which included an additional mixing valve) and am very happy with my decision. Overall price was not a big part of my decision, but brand of water heater was. After doing some research online, the most recommended brands are AO Smith and Rheem (GE). Both higher quotes were for Navien, which has only been making heat pump water heaters for 1 year, but I was told that it is the most reliable brand. I did not understand how this claim could be made, given how short the duration of evaluation for this product. Even the worst appliances usually work for at least a year. So I requested a quote for AO Smith or Rheem, which I did not get. I'm not sure why my brand request was not honored, but it made me question whether I should go with a company that either has communication issues or maybe some type of deal with Navien that I was not informed about. Many water heater installers are preferred installers of certain brands, which means they can get better pricing, etc. I did not want to be a guinea pig for Navien.

I mentioned we were retired and if they had any cancellations we would be available. Within a couple of hours Austin come out to do the job, he said it should be an easy but because they are old he could run into problems. One was easy the other was difficult, he worked on this repair until he had to leave for his next appointment. Today Adam came out and finished the job. Both of them were professional and did a great job. They took care of us before our scheduled appointment with excellent service and quality workmanship. It is very refreshing to have a job well done and to exceed our expectations. We were only without water for less than an hour total. Keep up the excellent work!

Savior was recommended by our neighbor who previously had the same issues, and they gave a competitive quote. Jaime was excellent, completing the repairs in just a few hours. Everything worked well for a couple months until the backflow valve leaked this month. Apparently one of the reused shutoff valve parts broke and caused the leak. Jaime again fixed it quickly and efficiently at no cost since it was under warranty. Unfortunately some dirt debris was introduced into the line and the backflow valve caught it, did its job, and gushed water out the evening of the repairs when the irrigation timer came on. I spoke with Tom, Savior's owner, who explained everything that happened and came out with Jaime to discuss in person. Jaime flushed the line and reset the backflow valve. I appreciate that Tom came out to explain the situation and ensure I was satisfied with the service repairs. It's good to have the personal touch from a local company.

My need to replace faucets and shower cartridge due to mineral deposits was quite straightforward…read more I simply needed a plumber whom I could trust and charge reasonably for the work. After having gotten a couple of quotes from highly rated larger local companies who apparently would charge a lot more, I opted to go with TTL Plumbing (thanks to ChatGPT, ha, ha). I was very happy that I did! The pricing was very fair, and Tim was friendly and easy to talk to. I can't vouch yet for more challenging work, but I've found my present and future plumber!

I'm done with this and will not engage further. Thank you all for reading! *UPDATE*: Tim's response to my review speaks for itself. Defensive and guilt-tripping! If I were the biz owner, I'd just apologize for the miscommunication. I'd have totally updated the review to 4 or 5 stars. I'm not even lowering my rating after his response; I'd rather stay fair than reactive. *ORIGINAL REVIEW*: I'm giving three stars because Tim, the plumber, was very nice, professional and helpful when we spoke on the phone. Unfortunately, the administrative side handled by Jade was a different story. I had booked an appointment for a drain clog and disposal repair but managed to resolve the issues myself. I messaged Jade to cancel with over 24 hours' notice to be respectful of their time and even followed up the next morning to ensure they saw the message so they wouldn't waste a trip. Instead of a professional acknowledgment, I received a lecture about how they "don't double-book" and that my 24-hour notice was "last minute." Not double-booking is standard for any plumber, and it shouldn't be used as a reason to guilt-trip a client for providing a full day's notice, especially when no specific cancellation policy was ever disclosed at booking. The response was dismissive, ending with a "wish you luck in the future." It's unfortunate because I actually had a second, larger project (a shower leak) I was planning to hire them for, but the unprofessional attitude from the office makes it impossible to do business here. If you hire them, just be aware that being respectful of their time might still result in a lecture if your plans change.
