The refund was $168 and was told they didn't have enough cash to give me a refund and that id have to wait two weeks for a check. They didn't have no problem taking my $450 cash the day before and then when I called about the check a week later they said the check still hadn't been cleared yet. Obviously you deal with big companies and corporations that probably pay by check or credit card but Look guys simple fix either Let people know who are paying cash. If they need a refund they may have to wait for a check and or just don't accept it but what shop sells parts and supplies over-the-counter and don't have 168 bucks in the cash register, especially when there was 450 put in it the day before

Here are subsequent facts: 1. Wrong battery charger delivered days later, 2. Correct batter charger was delivered weeks later, 3. While delivering the correct charger, a warehouse wall was significantly damage by said forklift, 4. Lease invoices were not issued until requested (in March) not consistent with our lease quote, 5. Repairs to an existing forklift starter switch was quoted at $70 labor and $40 parts, 6. After repairs to a starter switch and starter, total invoice became over $1000, 7. Asked to end lease on 2/7/23, didn't come pick up until 3/2/23, continued to invoice. I have full email trails of facts including plenty of excuses for delays, poor service, and unresponsiveness. My experience with Valley Forklift and Shawn Lyons has been one in which he will continue to sell, delay, and invoice until you say enough. I suppose it makes for good sales, but not a good experience. I am CEO of a company in Elk Grove and would NOT recommend Valley Forklift. Just spoke with the owner, Gerry Hudson, he was not accommodating at all. He said he would send over his insurance information to fix the damage his folks inflicted on our wall. If you have any issues with this company, you'll have to do all the work and follow up.

Seeing as how twin Detroit 6V92 Diesels are used on-board I figured that a trucking parts company and authorized distributor of Detroit Diesel would likely have the parts and I appreciated that they were open until 11:30 pm. Glen and Jack were great. Glen found the parts we needed and conferred with his tech Jack as to which parts cross-referenced with others, since the parts numbers we had we long retired by Detroit Diesel and new, updated numbers needed to be found. They did a great job. In the end we left with all the parts we needed, at an hour well past those kept by marine parts suppliers. Thanks, Sacramento Truck Center!

The worst sales service is present in this shop run by a salesman who only cares about making the sale and then leaving you on "read " with unanswered calls and broken agreements. I was supposed to receive 5k back from my purchase of my truck and I never got it as promised "in 2 days". Daman also promised to fix the issues found in the truck and til this day I am still waiting. This is what happens when a person wants to open up shop with no professional managerial experience and without good moral ethics. The other reviews about it being cheap are true, as to the "good service" theyre probably helping out their sales buddy. Will be seeking alternative methods to get my money back as agreed upon and the work done on the truck as verbally agreed upon. please go elsewhere to find and purchase your truck , this place may have good deals but completely not worth it save your time and your peace. (Update: I just went into the shop and he immediately berated me for requesting the managers number and wanted to settle the "argument in his perspective" outside in the parking lot.
