Review written by my husband, and I endorse every word. "I purchased a used 2013 Chevy Tahoe SSV (special service vehicle) this July. I have to say that this was one of the easiest vehicle purchases I've ever made. Jim, our sales person was knowledgeable and honest about every aspect on the vehicle and financing. He assured me that EMC Motors would stand behind the purchase if anything went wrong with the truck. They TOTALLY lived up to their reputation to stand behind purchases, as I had 2 issues crop up after I took possession. One issue was a bad brake pedal sensor and easily fixed, the second issue was a front wheel bearing that again they fixed the next day after diagnosing the problem. Jason , their mechanic diagnosed it quickly and did quick work to repair it. Jason also advised me what EMC does to verify the mechanical condition of all their vehicles. Everything he said they had done was verified by my own inspection. I know this is a used vehicle and it would come with unforeseen problems, however Jim and EMC have assured me that they will stand behind the truck and 'make things right' . That's what they did! I couldn't be happier." read more

Very communicative and personable experience. Jimmy made the entire process easy. A rare find when it comes to car dealers. Definitely give them a call if you're in the market for a used truck! read more

I was messaging EMC on OfferUp for almost 3 months about a car I was interested in. They always got back to me quickly and answered any questions I had. Even sent me a start up video before I made the 6 hour drive up there. Agreed on a price out the door prior to coming in and left paying exactly that. Hassle free easiest car transaction I've ever had, would recommend to any of my friends or family to come here. Car was also freshly washed and detailed prior to me coming and looked even better in person than the pictures they posted. Quick and responsive after the sale when any additional questions were asked. Great experience overall read more

This company uses some shady tactics to sell vehicles. I recently bought a truck "as-is" and it has been a disaster. The transmission started acting funny on the ride home from the delivery point and leaked transmission fluid in massive amounts. Worst of all, the 4-wheel drive linkage was held together with twist ties. If I could give a negative-star review, I would read more

Don't expect to be treated fairly here. Save yourself some time and avoid. No one wants to hear their vehicle is a POS , but they put a new level of rudeness on their style. The business owner's response to my review is no surprise based on the way he treated us earlier in the day. I suggest you learn about customer service or you will soon lose your business especially in hard times. Best of luck to you. read more

I have to say EMC has more trucks than I expected to find. They have a wide selection of Trucks and SUVs. There was no pressure from "Lee" their salesman. He let us test drive the F150 that we purchased. The price was right and they handled my transaction professionally and fast. I did have an issue with a headlight that they are fixing right now. "Jason" their mechanic is knowledgeable and professional and most of all he is accommodating to our schedule. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. "Jimmy", the owner of the dealership has also helped us throughout this purchase pleasantly and expeditiously. So try them out. You'll be happy to see their big inventory of rugged 4x4's and their selection of SUV's. These guys know what they're doing. read more

I've been buying cars for over 50 years and can heartily recommend EMC motors. It is a family-owned business that places great pride on honesty and integrity. The prices are the very competitive with other dealers and we feel we got the best value for our money. Our deal involved shipping the vehicle out of state, and EMC (Jimmy) took care of everything and got us the best shipping price we could find. Incidentally the car was shipped faster than we expected. We will definitely buy from them again. read more

When it comes to buying cars, I've had multiple bad experiences. My lease on my Prius was coming to an end, and it was time to start looking for a car. After driving a Prius for years, I was ready for something new! I wanted something special and all the other dealers were trying to quickly get me in anything. Well not Jimmy at EMC. He was patient with me and spent all his time helping me find the truck of my dreams. From the first minute I was there I felt comfortable and trusted them right away. I got the truck of my dreams and Jimmy and EMC gave me the best experience. If you're looking for some wheels, this is the family business you want to deal with! I'll be back for my next vehicle. read more

I bought a 2005 Ford F-150 from this Dealership in January of this year. I am normally skeptical of non-big name dealerships, but they happen to have a nice-looking truck for a good price. I did purchase the truck but wanted to wait a little while before leaving the review. I am happy to say I have not had one problem with the truck and when I took it to ford for an oil change the 30 point inspection came back with every box in the green. I will say in my experience that I am a happy customer, hope the truck continues to serve me well, and I am leaving a great review to return the favor or getting a great car. I am 7 months down the line and still happy, I have added pictures as well :) I can't remember the name of the guy who helped me, but he was a younger guy and said he drove a Ford Raptor. read more

Such a pleasure to work with them! We bought our son a truck, we were able to have it checked by a mechanic up the street prior to purchasing. They went above and beyond to make sure that a few minor concerns we had were addressed to our satisfaction. We highly recommend them! read more

Such amazing service! Jimmy and Elias really helped me out with finding my dream truck, they made it quick, easy, and did everything they could to fit my budget. Amazing people. I recommend to everyone !!! read more

I bought a truck from them and it passed all the inspections I did in their lot. after I drove it home it didn't want to start. I had it checked and it needs new injectors. I also had to put a new fuel pump on it because the float wasn't functioning therefore my gauge was reading right (another thing I learned after my 2 hour drive home). the salesman told me he did oil change but clearly he didn't because i had it changed and it only had 4 quarts. ultimately a unpleasant experience and I came up on the very short end of a bad deal. would not recommend this dealership. read more

I am writing a review solely because their service truly is 5 star. My husband and I had such a pleasure buying our Dodge Ram 2500. All the trucks were clean and had a huge selection to choose from. They came recommended to us by a few friends whom have also bought from the dealership. The entire team from the sales departments, finance department to the mechanics department; were helpful in answering all questions and assisting in our needs and requirements for the vehicle purchase. I would buy from them again. The truck we bought was clean and in great shape. We so appreciate an honest and reliable dealership in the Auburn area. read more

I have been looking for a truck for a while, I have searched the internet, physically went to many lots, just to find trucks that did not match the description given. EMC is different. Jim's knowledge of what is on his lot is amazing, he truly lets the vehicle sell itself, because they can! He just had the truck I purchased at the actual Ford dealership for inspection and service, had the invoice for me!! You do not find sub-par vehicles on this lot, pricing is more than fair, the treatment is exceptional, I would certainly recommend EMC Motors to anyone, they do a phenomenal job. read more

Wouldn't let us test drive unless we were signing paperwork to buy it. We said we were looking around for trucks and he didn't even want us looking at it since we weren't set on buying it. Very pushy. Very rude. Worst customer service from a dealership. Do not buy from here. read more

ONE of the best used vehicle dealers I've ever used. I have been looking for a solid used Ram for months, had visited EMC several times over the last four months. Finally found the truck I was looking for. Jim and his father were very patient as I combed over the truck. Inside and out and even under. handed Jim a nice deposit to hold and first thing on a Saturday morning we got our truck. couldnt be happier with my purchase! great trucks, great people, easy paperwork! Thanks again Jim, from our family to yours! We have the truck of our dreams!!!! read more

I had the easiest experience here! My car had been dying a slow death for a while and I wanted something older but really well cared for with tow capabilities and 4 wheel drive as we're moving to a more rural area. My dad found a truck online and reached out to EMC while I was at work. Jim was super easy to work with, walked my dad through the finance process and offered to hold the truck for us for free if we could make it up there same day. He even agreed to stay late as we were coming from Chico and I had to work all day. I squeezed out of work a little early and we shot up to Auburn. Jim was waiting and got us the keys to check it out right away. My dad's pretty mechanical and Jim was able to answer all of his questions and chat away with my dad about the mechanics of the truck. This was my first time buying a vehicle and I was fully prepared for a massive headache, but that simply was not the case here. I had been talking with other dealers for months but the experience with EMC was totally different. The 4 hours of driving we did to buy my truck was worth every minute and I have EXACTLY what I was looking for. I highly recommend EMC to anyone looking for a quality truck. Thanks Jim! read more

If you're looking for a truck at an insanely great price, you have to come to EMC Motors. Jim and the team there make you feel like family when you go in, customer service is awesome and they will work with you on a great price for your vehicle. I went to EMC to look for a truck for my new business I started which I will need a much bigger car than my current Honda Civic. They showed me around and what the best options for me would be. Due to the pandemic I had to hold off on buying but I'm really looking forward to the day I can go back and purchase my truck from them! read more

Today our 3 week search and my son's 5 year wait was over ...driving by we saw the car we wanted. With open arms EMC (a father and son team) welcomed us, had us test drive and didn't list the car on the internet allowing us time to make our final decision. The financing and purchase couldn't have been easier. No buyers remorse as we know we were treated more than fair and got the exact vehicle we wanted. Thanks so much Eli Alchawi! read more

Bought a used honda fit from here, everyone was professional and courteous. No one tried to sell me anything unnecessary, price was reasonable, and people were honest. Turns out the car had an old battery and was slow to start, new battery was covered by their 30 day goodwill warranty, no fuss. Car runs like a dream, and I couldn't be happier about my experience here! read more
