I had the good fortune of calling DuPage County Plumbers when I bought a 100 year old building in Westmont last year. I have been nothing but impressed with not only the workmanship, but also with the level of personal and professional service. I'm a big DIYer and I'm sort of picky when I'm hiring tradesmen. From the courtesy inspection helping me understand what I was buying to the complete rework off all the plumbing, gas, and boiler lines running through the first floor Jason and his team have me feeling like a genius for hiring them. I live out of state and found DUPAGE PLUMBERS for my elderly mother who was still recuperating from a lengthy illness. The only good thing is the toilet was installed properly and sub floor damage repaired from a leak. The caulk job around the toilet could have been done better by a child (5 or under). The tile they installed was cracked where the heat vent is, rather than cut another piece of tile, he actually wanted to GLUE this cheap heat vent to hide the cracked tile. This cracked piece is now shattering and no longer covered by the vent cover. Although, I will admit most of the tile was installed properly. There is grout on the bathtub and it will not come off. They installed a wooden baseboard that was poorly stained. The finish work on the baseboard is laughable. There is also grout on the baseboard. Unfortunately, I live out of state and was not present when the job was completed. He couldn't take advantage of me, as he did my mother. She called to complain and never received a return call. Bad business. One good thing say, is the receptionist, with whom I spoke, was very nice and answered the phone with a smile in her voice. read more

I have called this company several times to see if they can fix our shower. They keep scheduling and then not show up during their scheduled time. They don't even bother to let me know that they're not coming. They are extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend them. read more

We generally rely on word of mouth to find any type of "contractor" to help make sure we know what we're going to get. But we couldn't find a decent plumber that way. So, I decided to check Yelp, and I found Dupage County Plumbers. I had them replace a hot water heater, add some additional valves, and haul away an old water softener. Jason is an owner here, and I talked to him about pricing and what needed to get done. Though two of his employees did the work. I called in the morning and they came out later that night and did all the work. And, not only is there warranty on the hot water heater, but they also warranty the labor (which can be expensive). All in all, I was very satisfied with what I got, and referred Jason to my mom to fix her sump pump... which Jason kindly pointed out was the wrong item for the job (which is apparently why it "broke"). They call themselves the "honest plumbers", and so far, I have no reason to doubt them. read more

You need to be careful when you read reviews. T truly think they fake. I called this company because of good review. When I called ask for plumber they said plumber will come in. Simple fix. Cartilage in bathtub faucet broken. READ IT Saleswoman came in. Said. Drywall needs to be cut with tiles. Cooper pipes need to be cut out and replaced. Estimate 800 plus.my future cost to put new drywall and tiles. Called local plumber. The fixed it for 200 simple fix. Be aware who you call and be aware of those reviews. They fake. What the difference. Bi would have to replace tiles with drywall. That would cost me about 2000 read more

I highly recommend DuPage County Plumbers. They fixed a gas leak in my attic very quickly, so that I could get my gas turned back on. Colin and Eddy were helpful, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. They even helped when my dogs escaped the backyard! Their price was significantly less than what a local big name HVAC company quoted me earlier in the day. The gas company mentioned twice that the quality of the work was excellent. I called this business after having read the positive reviews online, after I experienced a sudden leak in my upstairs bathroom which had leaked through the kitchen below. Jason, the owner, came over and told my son that there was a significant leak in the wall of the bathroom, and to call my homeowner's insurance company immediately. He shut the water off to the entire house and left. He billed me $95.00 for five minutes work and left. When my insurance company and I tried to contact him numerous times to discuss the problem and the repairs that would be needed, he did not have the decency to call either of us back. As it turned out, the horrible inconvenience of having my water shut off for days was totally unnecessary, as he MISDIAGNOSED the problem. I called another plumber who diagnosed the problem right away, which was my toilet, which was leaking. there was no leak in the pipes behind the wall of my bathroom as Jason had stated. His mistake could have cost me thousands of dollars as it would have required my entire bathroom to be gutted. Instead, I only needed the toilet fixed AT A MINIMAL COST! Talk about incompetence! What's mind-boggling, is that Jason actually owns DuPage Plumbers. Avoid this business like the plague! read more

Hot water heater went out and had another company come out to provide me an estimate. After getting a quote from the other company that seemed high to me, I reached out to dupage based on their ratings on yelp. No only did their price come in 20% cheaper, the owner, Jason was thorough and pleasure to work with. I'd have them come in again in a heartbeat to do the work again. read more

I spoke with Jason at first and am always very skeptical of people entering our homes especially to do big jobs. I met with Jason for an estimate and right away felt at ease. Since then he has changed our home from steel to copper, installed a new boiler, fixed messy plumbing, and has always been quick and timely. I feel fully comfortable with him and his crew in my house with or without me being home. I have since recommended him to friends who have used him and all say the same thing "he makes us feel comfortable and does great work". He will be our go to guy for life. I'm writing this on Christmas Eve. I woke up this morning to no running water. I called city hall and our water company asking if there was a water shut off but was told everything should be working. I called Dupage County Plumbers based on the great reviews on yelp and I am so incredibly happy I did. Shannon was calm, attentive, and told me she would have someone over within a 2-3 hours of me calling. As we were waiting, the pipe busted and I didn't know if I should turn off the water all together which may cause the pipes to freeze with the access water. So I called Shannon back and asked what I should do. She told me to hold on while she tried to get hold of her technician and with in 15 min she called me back and said Jason (owner) was on his way. Jason was able to assess the situation and was thankfully able to fix it within 45 min. I highly recommend DuPage County Plumbers. They were professional, courteous and answered all of our questions without feeling rushed. Thanks for coming in on Xmas eve AND saving us from having to cancel out party. read more
