I had a clogged condensation drain pipe and needed someone to come fix it the night of (8pm). This and one other plumber was available out of several plumbers I called. He unclogged the drain pipe with ease. After leaving the job, I found that the T pipe got cracked and was leaking. We both were trying to find an open hardware store and he picked up after the first or second ring every time I called him. It was around 10pm and all hardware stores are closed. He came around 11pm with a temporary solution that mitigated the leak and fixed it within 30 minutes. He came by the following day at 2pm to apply the permanent fix. Everything works great. Conclusion: - Ivan is was very fast to respond to calls/texts. - Ivan always give an ETA prior to coming and is punctual on his ETA. - Ivan gets the job done in a timely manner. - He wear protective layer around his shoes so that it doesn't walk in the house with dirty shoes. read more

All I got was either no answers or leave a message after the beep or my three workers are out in other jobs or give me your number and someone will call you back later and this one --- let me shoot off an email to the plumbing dept and someone will get back to you!!! 24 hour emergency should mean right now and not later or next week. I reached out to a "Professional Plumber company working with Homedepot'', each time they sent different technicians and they were unable to fix the issue due to the difficulties of the job even I paid ER fees. Lots of excuses each time when their technicians show up, which made me waited a whole week without hot water. Then I reached to Go-rooters team, within 3 days from the assessment to completion, they successfully helped me replaced my old water heater nice and tidy. Due to the space constraints, it's very difficult to move the 120-150 lbs water tank from the first floor to the second floor, but they made it and did a great job. I've used Go-Rooter several times since 2017, and I'm finally leaving them a long overdue review for a recent job. I had a new bathroom sink installed by another company about a year ago and began experiencing issues with odors and slow drainage a few weeks ago. I called Go-Rooter to ask if they could take a look at it. Juan came the next day and fixed the issue on the spot. Apparently, the other company that installed my sink did not do it up to code, leading to the problems. They're courteous, professional and direct with pricing, which I appreciate. I've used them for big and small jobs. Last year, during a heavy storm right before the 4th of July holiday, they came to the rescue to repair my ejector pump as the water was creeping up my existing flood control system and spilling into the basement. Alex's team came out and gave me a quote to replace a leaky spigot, their invoicing system gave me grief only because the notice kept popping up as a past due payment which was incorrect because the finished work was not completed yet. Other than that, Manny did a great job replacing the spigot, he removed the smallest amount of ceiling drywall to modify existing pipping to accommodate the new spigot. So apparently, the not so warm weather is causing all sorts of plumbing issues around the city - go figure! When my toilet started to leak out of the blue, I panicked. I knew that my building didn't have weekend maintenance, but I didn't know how much worse this could possibly get. I called just about every highly-rated plumbing service I could. All of which were pleasant, helpful, and super swamped! When I originally called Go-Rooter, I was told there was a 4-hour window for someone to come out, but Juan was at my door in less than an hour. That is what I call emergency service! Unfortunately, my toilet is an ancient relic and any repairs I would need wouldn't be able to be done until the next day. By that time, my building's maintenance guy will be back on the clock, so I will opt to use him. However, I wanted to publicly note how quickly Go-Rooter and Juan responded to an emergency situation and how his explanation of my issue helped me to make it make sense to my own maintenance man. I called Go Rooter because of a leaky faucet. I've used them before and have been pleased with their work. After checking out the problem, their plumber told me it was a faulty cartridge that would need to be replaced, and the charge would be $384 for labor and material. More than a little shocked at the price he quoted, I asked him how much the part was, to which he replied $68. So, I said, incredulously, you want over $300 to switch out the cartridge? Well, he replied, you have to know what you're doing. Wait, what!!?? I need to find a new plumber from now on....anyone out there know how to change a faucet cartridge? read more

Alex and his team was flexible in finding a date/time that worked for our schedules. We had commercial building with a very high water bill for the past year. Alex visited the basement and all the tenants' sinks and toilets. It ended up being a broken flap in the toilet tank on one of the floors that has not been occupied since the pandemic started - literally the water was going down the drain nonstop. Customer Service The problem needed to be resolved the day of my call (tenant unit) Of all the 24/7 plumber service reviews, Go-Rooter reviews convinced me. To my disappointment, three hours later, I received a call back. Polite answering service takes your information. Next, be prepared for the possibility of waiting three hours for a call back. My problem was time sensitive: I called back twice. First time, just to get a sense of when someone would call me to explain the problem. Second time to find out if they would be able to dispatch someone today (because if their swamped with work I need to find another company). Answering service only forwards the message. 3 hours later I got a call but I had retained another company. Simply prepare for the possibility of a 3 hour wait for a call back. These guys are literally life saviors. A few days ago, I smelled gas coming out of the connection with my cooktop but I couldn't detect a leak. So I reached out to another company and they came and said nothing was wrong even though it was stated they could smell gas. So I then reached out to my gas company and they sent someone who pointed out a few different leaks in my pipe. I then frantically tried to find someone who could come out the same day to address. I made a call to Go Rooter and within 3 hours, a technician was out to my house and fixed my issue. I'm so thankful for the quick work. He was the "second opinion" after another plumber refused to so much as touch the system with a rod without making a $1200 and 5-hour repair to our (admittedly awful) overflow system. Highly recommended. I had giant grease clog that was backing water up into my tenants apartment. Had a few plumbing companies drop by to find and fix it but none could figure out the issue and one even had a malfunctioning auger. Good thing i found Juan on Yelp and found the source of problem. He even provided me a temporary fix. The repairs was a little pricy but reasonable and honest and if they promise the issue will be resolved in 2-3 days they mean it. We had a sudden clogged drain from our hvac condenser and it caused a backup in our utility room and the nearby carpet, so we needed something fast. We placed a lot of requests that night and Alex from Go Rooter was the first to call us back. The same-day emergency charge was steep ($180) but worth getting it handled immediately. Alex was super friendly, explained the issue, how to prevent it, and didn't mind our dog! They offer a 30 day warranty on their work, although I'm not sure what exactly that covers. read more
