I got to my gate about 40 mins before my flight and had the time and also wanted some coffee... this was the only option at that time. The line was insanely long, but since I had time, I waited in it. It took about 25 mins to get to the cashier. Not sure why they don't open another cashier and the kiosks were also out of service, which is beyond ridiculous. The coffee and pumpkin munchkins were good, but not worth the wait. After getting my food and coffee, other places opened, but the line to this place was still very long, seems like it's always that way in the morning. This is very poor management and customer service to make people wait when they can do more to make service quicker. read more

This Dunkin is located at Bradley International Airport. When I arrived at Gate C10 for my flight, I was pretty annoyed that I was going to spend the next three hours waiting for my delayed flight. Well, I walked all over this level of the airport, to kill the frustration. There was a Dunkin without any line, not that I had no time to wait in line. I got their new Holiday Cookie iced latte. This came in a massive cup, with whipped cream, caramel and crushed cookies on top. I for sure didn't expect such an extravagant display, or such a large size. I also didn't specify the size I wanted. To be fair, it really wasn't that big, because there was a ton of ice in this coffee. This was very tasty, also super sweet. It really tasted like a sugar cookie. This Dunkin is a decent place to stop by while traveling through Bradley International Airport. read more

Dunkin seems to be at every terminal at Bradley Airport. Very efficient compared to the competing coffee shops. Fast and friendly service. Good food served quick at a fair price. Always there when I need a quick stop for warm food and drink. Fast, friendly and accurate. Food tasted the same as in a non-airport location. What more can you ask for? I cringed when I saw how long the line was. Then I took a moment to watch how fast it was moving and took my place at the end. I was glad it was a quick process, because I really was craving an iced coffee and a variety of Munchkins. The cashier was super friendly and efficient. He truly kept the line moving at a respectable pace. He not only took my order, he also bagged my variety of Munchkins (aka donut holes). I then stepped down to the waiting area, where another associate made and presented me my, Sunrise Batch Coffee. She added the perfect amount of creme and the one packet of Splenda. I could not have made it better myself. The condiment counter was a little messy, but it was super early AM and I blame that mess on the customers. One detail that I always look for and they delivered it well, is a Rainbow of Sweetness. They offered a huge variety of real and artificial sweeteners. In this wing of the airport, breakfast options are limited to Deangelos and this Dunkin Donuts .by Gate 24. Dunkin always has a huge line, but somehow the two counter folks and the cook behind the scenes manage to keep the line moving at an acceptable pace. We were there today before 7 AM and the line was formidable. I had an eggwhite flatbread that was very tasty and fresh. It's not a great breakfast destination. It's not an abysmal pit. In New England, Dunkin Donuts are so much better than what you find in the newly franchised nationwide expansion of this chain. I am not a real fan of their coffee, though at 5:45 am in the airport terminal, it's just fine to wash down tasty classic powdered sugar jelly donuts. And I discovered that the iced version has a more acceptable taste to me than the hot. Not my usual brand though. The staff was very friendly, the line was nearly as long a wait time as security this morning but then, not much else was open. It's a small airport, the gate areas are close together and the Dunkin counter easy to reach from all the gates in this wing. Not a lot of choice of flavors like a full service location, but a few basics suit the needs. I met some really nice people in line. Get to know your neighbors and the time passes more quickly. Too many people forced into a small space with a lot of very early flights with few options, so give the staff a break. read more

I have been here for breakfast on several occasions traveling home from work. I'm usually at the airport early enough that only this and McDonald's is open so I choose this. This is a smaller Dunkin donuts with not much seating, exactly what you'd expect at the airport. The biggest issue for me is it's very pricey for what you get here. A "meal" is over $8 most of the time and not very filling at that. I cannot order coffee here with cream or sugar in it as it comes out way too sweet to drink! Not the worst experience I've had at the airport, but if you are in need of coffee or some quick bite to eat this will do the trick. Just know what you're getting into. read more

You come for DD's when you're on the go, so being at BDL ... a few tens of minutes away from boarding qualifies as on the go. If you've been to Winchell's or Yum Yum doughnuts, then you can skip DD's as you've already tasted DD's doughnuts through these other two stores. Got a chocolate sprinkled doughnut ... the thing that I'm currently (unfortunately) hooked on and my husband got a crueller. I took one bite of the crueller and handed it back - didn't have a taste but it probably has to do with it being a plain AND DD's doesn't use shortening. That's how they get the 0% trans fat. The chocolate doughnut was alright...nothing particularly great except that it was not greasy at all. Due to poor planning on my behalf, I ended up at the Hartford airport without breakfast and after waiting in a lengthy line to check my checked baggage... still don't get why I check in at my hotel just to stand in a line anyway to drop off my bag... Through security and only about 20 minutes before my puddle jumper takes me to Newark where I cruise across the country back to Los Angeles. What can I get for breakfast? Well, this Dunkin' Donuts is the closest thing to my gate and these are just starting to come to California... why not? The morning crew... wasn't really excited for people like me who hadn't experienced their donuts and clearly wanted to get through the people behind me so as nice as she could but giving off the air of "pick a donut already you inconsiderate idiot, this isn't a Belgian chocolate shop" I decided to go with the Boston Cream and a hot chocolate. I ate the donut at the gate and it was a good Boston Cream. Donut was soft and chewy --freshly made-- custard wasn't overpowering in flavor, but creamy and just the right amount. The chocolate glaze on top had the right finish to this donut. Hot chocolate was creamy, chocolatey and hit the spot on a cold morning. I slowly sipped it well into my flight to Newark. It'll be nice to have a DD in the area once they do expand in Los Angeles. read more

Behind three people (with basic breakfast orders) and it took a solid ten minutes to get the food. Okay, this review is primarily for one of the workers here, because the drink I got was actually pretty standard/delicious (made by another guy), but I have been laughing for days about the inexperience and ignorance of the woman who took my order. I had a flight out of a nearby gate and was delighted to know there was a Dunkin' nearby. I grew up in New England, and Dunkin' is probably what ruined me for coffee from anywhere else because it's so good here. I ordered a small iced coffee and attempted to use my Dunkin' Donuts app to make the purchase, as I had about twenty bucks on there and I like the rewards points. I saw the scanner gun on the counter, so I brightened up my screen and held up my phone with the bar code ready so that the woman could scan it. She then proceeded to manually type in the entire "number" beneath the bar code as if it were a credit card number. I thought that was strange, and I've never seen anyone do that before, but I thought maybe there was something wonky with their scanner and so she had to do it this way. It happens, and I was patient, so I let her do it. She then said to me, "Do you have another card? It's not working." I was confused and said, "Is your scanner not working?" She looked at me like I was stupid or crazy or both and said, "We don't have a scanner." I paid with a credit card and returned with my drink to my boyfriend at the gate. After telling him the whole story, and how they clearly had a scanner, green light and everything, he found it as perplexing and hilarious as I did. He wanted his own drink as well anyway, so he went over to order one. He even pointed to the scanner gun and said, "Hey, that's a nice scanner." The woman who had serviced me earlier was in the background and came running up to the counter to snap, "It's not a scanner, it's for bar codes." He said, "Oh, you mean like a bar code scanner?" I'm not sure who hired this woman, but if she can't even understand how a simple bar code scanner gun works, I'm not sure she should be working in retail. read more

This place is always busy. I believe the layout is partially to blame. Service is OK, but can be a bit slow. They've tried to alleviate this by selling doughnuts from the case in the adjoining bookstore. But if you want a beverage, you'll be waiting in line; with just about everyone else in the terminal. read more

For the busy morning traveler they definitely need more staff. Got to kiosk at 4:50 am and 22 people ahead of me with 2 people manning the kiosk and one has a trainee badge on so hard for the poor guy orienting him. Probably guaranteed to get a long line. After 10 minutes there were 16 people behind me. Coffee lukewarm and got order wrong but was good when finally received. Have to give some slack when they are so busy. Just happy to get my coffee and bagel before flight. Total wait time from getting in line until hit my order was 17 minutes. I have waited longer in high end restaurants so cannot complain. It's a DD. same as all the rest except this one is in Bradley International Airport. I was bummed to see Einstein Bagels leave this location and for DD to move in. DD bagels are OK I guess, but just like every other dunkin when you ask for it toasted it comes out barely warm and the butter they put on it doesn't even get warm enough to melt. The staff was pretty quick to service the long line and the coffee etc was up to par with DD you would find out in the real world. In a pinch, DDs always does just fine. read more
