I decided to go into the store to order and eat my breakfast. I was called to the counter near the dining/chill area to be told that my coffee was at the pickup counter. So I had to walk around the dining room to grab my coffee. The employee who walked over could have offered to grab my coffee, but she didn't (clueless). As soon as I got back to the dining area, they called me back to the pickup counter to grab my breakfast. The employee handed me my breakfast and told me to have a nice day, as if assuming I was taking my breakfast to go. Their dining room is empty. COVID has programmed us to dismiss customer service. What a missed opportunity! I would recommend bringing orders to the dining room counter and MOVE Doordash pickup to the main counter. Encourage your customers to stay. I've always loved Dunkin Donuts growing up so right off the bat I was stoked to know we'll have one in Reno. But, for the past few visits, I always get disappointed. It doesn't matter what time of day, but they usually have very little donuts available and their coffee usually taste unappealingly bland. I got two dozen of donuts today and majority of it were the same flavor due to lack of donuts for whatever reason. In addition, I also tried their new Iced Caramel coffee which I thought was okay. This place is horrible. It doesn't matter what time of the day you go, the employees seem to hate their job. If you ask them how they are or how their day is, they straight ignore you. They also like to walk past you numerous times without acknowledging your presence. I've ordered anywhere from a couple doughnuts to 7 dozen and they seem irritated no matter what, regardless of tipping or not. Taco Bell handles comparatively more traffic gracefully. This time, it was gross. We went through the drive thru, as there was no line, but our service was even worse. We asked for two bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel. Both came cold and with sausage instead of bacon. The bagel tasted hard and stale. A Dunkin Donuts with such a low Yelp rating?!? Blasphemy! I guess I don't understand the people of Reno. I've been a huge fan of Dunkin Donuts coffee for years. If you have been to the East Coast or Chicago you cannot throw a rock without hitting a Dunkin Donuts location. This is because the people know that hitting up a Dunkin Donuts for coffee is a much better decision than the Starbucks alternative. You can get it iced or hot. I like the dark roast black. This place also sells the bags of Dunkin Donuts coffee (not the ones you can get from the grocery store, the good ones). FINALLY! I am an east coast girl who loves her Dunkin Donuts and I am thrilled we are finally getting locations in our area. Please bring one to RENO! I just had to stop in here the day after it opened to get some donuts. I didn't realize I would be standing in line behind 23 other people! Honestly, I was thru the line and headed out the door in 15 minutes. Yes, I clocked it. They were doing a great job greeting, helping, and moving people thru the line quickly and efficiently. When it was finally my turn to place my order I almost wanted to kiss the kid ringing the register, I didn't. I saved my kisses for those donuts! I was bummed they were out of my favorite- the chocolate cream filled with powdered sugar on the outside but I fully understood because they were so busy! A donut runner got the donut for me then asked for my preference when it came to munchkins. I told him assorted without blueberry, fruit donuts are just weird to me. Went here over the weekend and wasn't surprised at the lack of customer service and donuts. You'd think that they would be replenishing their donuts throughout the day, but they don't. When they're out, they're out. We asked for powdered munchkins and they said they were all out. So we asked for glazed munchkins, and they said they were all out. Went to Dunkin' after seeing a few commercials. Was not sold. Ordered a frozen coffee with whipped cream. Was very excited to try and see how it would compare. Was very disappointed as I left the drive thru. No whipped cream. Frozen coffee should have been named iced coffee as the ice was barely blended. Though dunkin' doughnuts is super popular, we would usually just as soon go to the grocery store for donuts. The wait is super long almost any time of the day and that is hard for this yelper to swallow. Growing up with lightning fast Krispy Kreme it is a change. And not for the better. The quality of food at dunkin doughnuts is acceptable at best. Nothing spectacular. I may be missing some of the hype because I don't drink coffee. But if all the other food choices depend solely on having a cup of dunkin doughnuts coffee to wash it down, I don't feel that reflects well on the food. I did not get a sorry, a refund for the order I didn't get, or even the slightest bit of customer service decency even though I was kind about letting the staff know how long I had been waiting. I love the food and drinks that Dunkin makes. I go weekly, but the last few times that I have gone they have gotten little things like the milk or flavor wrong. Today, I ordered my drink and food to be picked up in store. Shortly after, I accidentally ordered the same thing again (which used my free drink with the points system) I did not let that bug me. But my (2) drink and (2 bagel thins) food took over 20 minutes to get to me. I watched other people's orders be given to them from the regular order line before I got mine when I had ordered ahead. There were 6 workers and I had to remind them about my drink. I told them how long I had been waiting and just to forget about the other order because I had to go to work. Sometimes I go there and get awesome service with great donuts and coffee. Sometimes (I would say about 50% of the time) I go and get horrible service, waits that run close to 10 mins at the window, or the coffee tastes burnt. Never know what you're going to get.
