This place is horrible. It doesn't matter what time of the day you go, the employees seem to hate their job. If you ask them how they are or how their day is, they straight ignore you. They also like to walk past you numerous times without acknowledging your presence. I've ordered anywhere from a couple doughnuts to 7 dozen and they seem irritated no matter what, regardless of tipping or not. With that, I literally had a supposed supervisor tell me not to tip because she can't collect tips because of her pay. Wouldn't you want your coworkers to earn tips??? The "shift leader" who had been ignoring the in store line and not so much as looking up at entering customers informed me that they no longer had the GF brownie option. I saw this wonderful ad for a great selection of pumpkin products on t.v. I decided I would go for it. Nobody manning the counter and no labels on any trays but no products looked good. Finally a staffer came up and I asked about the pumpkin specials. They pointed to a tray of anemic looking donuts. Against my better judgment I ordered two. The bill was $4.00. I've gone here a probably 5 times and the first few times it was just okay. The service always seemed slow and rushed even if wasn't very crowded. Taco Bell handles comparatively more traffic gracefully. This time, it was gross. We went through the drive thru, as there was no line, but our service was even worse. We asked for two bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel. Both came cold and with sausage instead of bacon. The bagel tasted hard and stale. A Dunkin Donuts with such a low Yelp rating?!? Blasphemy! I guess I don't understand the people of Reno. I've been a huge fan of Dunkin Donuts coffee for years. If you have been to the East Coast or Chicago you cannot throw a rock without hitting a Dunkin Donuts location. This is because the people know that hitting up a Dunkin Donuts for coffee is a much better decision than the Starbucks alternative. I can't really comment on the donuts as I really do not care for sweets, but this place has an array of other breakfast options like egg sandwiches and whatnot. The coffee is solid and not bitter. You can get it iced or hot. I like the dark roast black. This place also sells the bags of Dunkin Donuts coffee (not the ones you can get from the grocery store, the good ones). Short version: Half of my order took 20 minutes. I reminded the staff of my order. I did not get a sorry, a refund for the order I didn't get, or even the slightest bit of customer service decency even though I was kind about letting the staff know how long I had been waiting. I love the food and drinks that Dunkin makes. I go weekly, but the last few times that I have gone they have gotten little things like the milk or flavor wrong. Today, I ordered my drink and food to be picked up in store. Shortly after, I accidentally ordered the same thing again (which used my free drink with the points system) I did not let that bug me. But my (2) drink and (2 bagel thins) food took over 20 minutes to get to me. I watched other people's orders be given to them from the regular order line before I got mine when I had ordered ahead. There were 6 workers and I had to remind them about my drink. I told them how long I had been waiting and just to forget about the other order because I had to go to work. FINALLY! I am an east coast girl who loves her Dunkin Donuts and I am thrilled we are finally getting locations in our area. Please bring one to RENO! I just had to stop in here the day after it opened to get some donuts. I didn't realize I would be standing in line behind 23 other people! Honestly, I was thru the line and headed out the door in 15 minutes. Yes, I clocked it. They were doing a great job greeting, helping, and moving people thru the line quickly and efficiently. When it was finally my turn to place my order I almost wanted to kiss the kid ringing the register, I didn't. I saved my kisses for those donuts! I was bummed they were out of my favorite- the chocolate cream filled with powdered sugar on the outside but I fully understood because they were so busy! I went with my second favorite the double chocolate donut and 50 munchkins. My wife had never had munchkins so I knew I needed to spread the love. The cashier rang me up and I paid. A donut runner got the donut for me then asked for my preference when it came to munchkins. I told him assorted without blueberry, fruit donuts are just weird to me. He got a good assortment and handed me the box with my double chocolate donut on top. All of this was done with a smile and polite attitude from both the cashier and the donut runner. In my car, I devoured the double chocolate donut. It's always just as delicious as I remembered it to be. The munchkins were slowly diminishing in the car on the ride home due to traffic. I think gnomes were stealing them because they were vanishing into thin air. No, I won't admit to eating half the box on the ride home, you can't make me! The assortment included chocolate, glazed, raspberry filled, and cinnamon sugar. All of these are yummy but the raspberry filled is my favorite.
