I tried calling Nothing Bundt Cakes to place my order, but it went to voicemail mail, I tried to order on-line, unable to on the same day. I drove out to the store and asked if I could get two dozen bundtinitis and couple single servings. It will be 30 minute wait. They use to have them in stock. To pick up and go. The cakes are Delicious and I don't think I ever had a bad one! I took a dozen to my dermatologist and one to my Physical Therapist office, it's fun to hand them to others and you can see their face light up! The Nothing Bundt Cakes is in the Smith ridge shopping center right by Trader Joe's with easy parking to the shop! I feel the service isn't as outstanding as it used to be, but it's the only store in town. read more

if I could give negative or zero stars I would. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a nothing Bundt cakes. Nothing Bundt cakes has appeared at EVERY celebration of ours, between birthdays and anniversaries. so on APRIL 16th we placed an order for UNR's graduation to celebrate the first college graduate in our family. Our pick up time was for 11:15. My daughter went to pick up our order at 12:04 after the graduation ran long, and we wanted to give some additional time to prepare our order as we knew it would be a busy day. By 12:27 she was still texting me that she was IN LINE, for a pickup order we placed a month prior. They should have created a second pick up line for already placed orders, especially since UNR graduation has been set for this date for a year and knew it would be busy. But no, they chose disorganization and didn't value any of their customers and had them waiting for ridiculous amounts of time (over 30 minutes?!?!) . My daughter missed most of her son's graduation lunch because of this wait, breaking her heart as she just wanted to bring his favorite dessert and missed almost the whole lunch because of NOTHING BUNDT CAKES. The employee told the person in front of my daughter that they were out of frosting, and that if they didn't have a flavor they would look to see if "they could steal one from an ahead order" UM. IM SORRY. SO PEOPLE PLACED ORDERS WEEKS AHEAD AND THEN DAY OF THEY WERE LOOKING TO COMPLETE NEW ORDERS WITH ORDERS PEOPLE HAD PLACED BUT HADNT PICKED UP YET?!?!?!? Picking up our placed order took over 40 minutes, while my elderly father was stuck waiting in the car for that entire time. To make up for this? They offered my daughter a free bundlet, only available to be redeemed from that one cursed location (we don't live in state and certainly will NEVER be back to this location even if we were in state again) absolutely ridiculous. This was so stressful that my daughter's Oura ring warned her she was in a high stress environment (to pick up a pre ordered cake! Imagine that!) Nothing Bundt cakes ruined our day and our celebration. I really hope that next year they just close for graduation since they clearly cannot handle it and they should not have people relying on them when they are incompetent in completing orders placed a month ahead. This was beyond disappointing, and I hope that someone from management reaches out to correct this. In the future we will no longer be ordering nothing Bundt cakes, despite our big family ordering them almost monthly for birthdays. IF ANYONE IS ORDERING FOR NEXT YEARS GRADUATION- DONT!!!!!!! Try another place!!!!! Not worth the stress. read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes - My daughter's heart rate spiking from nothing Bundt cakes... even though she placed this order a month ahead - Bakeries Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I absolutely love Nothing Bundt cakes. They are my favorite. Best tasting cakes. However the customer service and organizational skills of the staff has me questioning a lot. The person on the phone was completely incompetent of using their system and finding my precious made order through name, phone #, or pickup time with exact order details. They insisted for us to come in rather than figure it out on the phone. All I wanted was to confirm the order day of. We ended up having to go in. We waited 10 minutes minimum inside before anyone even came out( we open and closed the door 3 times (to make the doorbell sound) trying to get someone's attention. We could even see people walking back and forth a few times in theWhen somebody did come out they said "oh didn't hear you guys" Overall they seem completely unorganized and terrible with customer service. The only way this place is still running and super popular because it's the ONLY Nothing Bundt cakes in Reno. read more

Place is great. Always good cakes. Got one for my wife's birfday. Pricy but good. Will be back again.

I love coming here and getting BOGO bundtlets. It's a great value and such a nice treat. The perfect size for one for a co workers bday. I was in paid and out in literally two minutes and this was a Friday afternoon. This time I got the white chocolate raspberry. I wanted to try something new. It just wasn't my favorite. Still good (it's cake with cream cheese frosting!!) but whenever I try another variety I always end up coming back to red velvet. read more

I rarely leave one star reviews unless the experience is truly awful, but this place has gone downhill. I placed an online order three weeks in advance for a family event, expecting a quick "pick up and go" experience at my 1:00 PM scheduled time. Instead, I arrived to a slow-moving line with no separate queue for prepaid online pickups. I ended up waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. What is the point of ordering weeks ahead if you still have to wait over an hour? Other customers were visibly frustrated, and the couple in front of me was dealing with a messed-up order. Hopefully, they will find a way to improve their efficiency. read more

First off we Love these cakes!!! Unfortunately the storefront and staffing is struggling. I was by here 2x today with long lines 14+ people each time, no one up front at all! The shop was so over crowded someone accidentally backed into a display and a glass fell, they charged them despite other customers voicing objections due to the crowded store, they didn't care . The husband even asked for a broom and swept it up as no staff was doing a thing to address the glass on the floor. They also are not taking cash? Glad they are busy but they appear understaffed and not appreciative of their customers. Unfortunate read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes - Odd ... this sign has been up all day - Bakeries Near Me - Reno, Nevada

We dropped by Nothing Bundt Cakes one evening and ironically enough, the store was empty, it seemed like they were closing shop for the night because the display case was also cleared out, but as soon as we walked into the shop, a few more customers followed is in and in a blink of an eye, the shop was full of customers. The two young ladies behind the counter did a marvelous job helping the each of customers that walked through the door; the young lady that processed our order was truly hospitable and nice. We ordered four bundt cakes: carrot cake, chocolate chip, lemon-blueberry and cookies-and-cream. Every person I gifted the cake to for the holidays were absolutely delighted; my niece who got the cookies-and-cream loved it! It made for a unique and delicious Christmas present. read more

Me and the husband got our birthday cake here. Free cake on bday with a special flavor some months. There is a lot of variety and everyone is getting a bunt cake for desert at night. Line moves fast. Fancy decorated Bundt cakes, full size or miniature (my favorites) are available all the time. Terrific for the holidays! the staff is friendly, proficient and professional. I absolutely love Nothing Bundt Cakes -- they're always such a treat! Of course, some flavors are better than others, but that's totally subjective and depends on personal taste. So far, my favorites have been Classic Vanilla, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Strawberries & Cream. I tend to prefer the larger cakes over the little bundtlets because they're definitely more moist and overall better tasting. That said, the larger cakes are quite a lot of cake -- probably too much unless it's for a party or special occasion. Recently, I grabbed the Biscoff Cookie Butter bundtlet for my family to try before they sold out. Honestly, all four of us agreed we didn't quite get the hype around this one -- it was pretty dry and could have really used some vanilla ice cream to go with it. Despite that, I'm still giving Nothing Bundt Cakes a solid 5/5 because their classic flavors never disappoint, and the service is always super friendly and welcoming! read more

Usually I love this place but the last time I went i tried something new and didn't like either. I bought 2 smores and 2 banana pudding bundt cakes. The banana pudding ones didn't taste like banana and also had a weird musty taste reminded me of moly cake. The stores was just way to sweet and graham cracker was over powering. I'll go back but think I'll just stick to my regular favorites. read more

I've been ordering Nothing Bundt Cakes for years. Always consistent and fresh. I love the alternating seasonal flavors. Recently, I ordered online for pickup same day. About an hour before my pickup time I received a call stating they were out of one of the flavors in the size I ordered. I asked about another size, which they indicated they had. So I changed my entire order to accommodate the flavor I wanted in the available size, paying slightly more. When I arrived to pickup my order I was told they didn't have that flavor in the size I ordered. I was quite surprised because previously they called to inform me. The sales associate retrieved the manager, Nick, who explained the situation to me. Disappointed, I asked him to just remove the missing items from my order. He comped my items to compensate for my troubles. It actually turned the whole situation around. While I was still disappointed they didn't have the seasonal flavor, I was happy with the way the manager handled the situation. Great customer service! I will definitely continue being a customer. read more

I ordered five dozen Bundtinis online for my daughter's graduation. I came to pick them up at the specific time and I have to wait almost an hour. There were at least 6-8 others whose orders were not ready. I left my number for the manager to call me when she returned to work. I never received a phone call. I will not order for this company again. read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes - Strawberries and Cream 10" Bundt Cake - Bakeries Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I called on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to place a delivery order, just as I successfully did the last two years around this time. I was told over the phone that they no longer handle deliveries directly, but that I could select Uber or DoorDash if I ordered online. I went to their website, ordered three different items, and paid. Only at the very end did the system inform me that these services do not even deliver to my area. I decided to just pick it up myself on the following Thursday, August 14. My husband and I went into Nothing Bundt Cakes at approximately 9:45 am to retrieve our order: a dozen bundtinis for a birthday party, two bundtlets, and a gluten-free bundtlet for a guest with celiac disease. When I showed the clerk my online receipt and order number, she couldn't find my name in their computer system. After several minutes of searching, she walked into the back kitchen to get help, leaving the front completely unattended while several new customers walked in with no one to greet them. A second employee finally emerged, took several more minutes to locate my name on the computer, and then disappeared to the back without saying a word to me. Minutes later, she brought out my order and handed it over in total silence. No apology for the delay, no explanation, nothing. To make matters worse, she was coughing the entire time she handled our food. When I opened the bundtinis on the day of the birthday party, Friday, August 14, I noticed that most of the frosting was applied haphazardly. What is more, the white chocolate raspberry bundtini I chose was not fully cooked through; the bottom appeared uncooked. I can only imagine what the other guests were thinking. We recently learned that this location was bought out and is under new management, which completely explains the nose-dive in customer service and diminished quality of the cakes. Nothing Bundt Cakes used to be our absolute go-to place, but we will never patronize this establishment again. Truly a shame. read more

Nothing Bundt Problems. I came in this morning for a 9:30 Pickup, after waiting almost 20 minutes in line, I was finally up to the register. They couldn't find my order with my name, even though my name was on it. After waiting about 10 minutes I was told at around 10:00 that my order hadn't been made yet. No warning, no phone call, nothing, just that it wasn't ready. Everyone in the store was having similar issues. They offered me three free mini cakes and after waiting for those for about 10 minutes I just walked out, late for my daughter's birthday. Absolutely ridiculous. No accountability, no service, it's like they just decided not to fulfill their orders. I strongly recommend going somewhere else. read more

Easy location with lots of parking. Big variety of cakes, large and small. Many other gift ideas aside from cakes to give a special recipient, or yourself! Absolutely obsessed with my tiered wedding cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes!!!! We ordered a two-tiered cake for us to cut, then we ordered bundtini's for our guests. We ordered the variety dozen of bundtinis and spread them out on the tables for guests, and that was the best decision we could have made! We used our own cake topper, but the shop has options to choose from there! Of course, there are always amazing flavors, and even though we picked up our cake a couple days before the wedding, it was still so soft and delicious. read more

I've stopped in here numerous times for varying pastry needs. I've picked up a few bundlettes for small birthday celebrations, have ordered cakes for birthday parties to ensure they have the flavor I'm looking for. Staff is always eager to help and don't try to upsell any additional products, which I appreciate. The store has always been clean and well stocked. What they show in the display case isn't always an indicator of what they have in stock, as they keep a lot of it in the back. I love Nothing Bundt cakes and will continue to purchase from them in the future. read more

This experience fell extremely short of (any) standard of service one would expect from Nothing Bundt Cakes at the Reno (Smithridge) store. I hope the owner and corporate take immediate steps to improve customer satisfaction and engagement, training of its store employees, product and system process knowledge, efficiency and overall communication so others do not feel ripped off or experience the similar deceptive trade practice. An online order was placed for delivery between 5-5:30 p.m. What was ordered was not delivered, not even close to the product ordered. Their operating hours recorded states 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., but the store closed early. It is extremely frustrating to know that when a business is open, no one answers the phone. After making multiple attempts to call back the next morning, I was told that there was nothing that could be done because I didn't call on the same day (as delivery) to report the discrepancy. Nor could they find the credit card number in the system to verify my order even though I told them 1) the order was placed online, and 2) I had an order number confirming what was ordered and delivery time expectations. Frustrated and not letting the issue go, I was offered "store credit". I don't live in Reno; hence the online delivery order! Escalated this experience to all of social media and corporate. As this experience has left me sour and wondering if this is a common practice to deceptively switch product. read more

Excited to try the new gluten free limited time Lemon Raspberry bundlets! Ordered easily online, paid, and chose a pickup date. Thank goodness as I wasn't able to make it before closing time. The next day I called (and added to my order in appreciation!) to pick up that day. We have supported this business for years. It has always been our go-to dessert for parties until this week. We called two days ahead to order for a holiday party and were required to pre-pay over the phone which we had no problem with. We arrived exactly at our pickup time yesterday and were told our order was not available and they were sold out. We were headed directly from the store to the party where we now had to show up without the dessert we had promised to bring. We asked to speak with a manager on the spot and were told no one was available so we called again today and were once again told a manager was not available to speak with us. Why bother taking pre-orders if you have no intention of honoring them? Very disappointing. Doubt we will be back. read more
