We dropped by Nothing Bundt Cakes one evening and ironically enough, the store was empty, it seemed like they were closing shop for the night because the display case was also cleared out, but as soon as we walked into the shop, a few more customers followed is in and in a blink of an eye, the shop was full of customers. The two young ladies behind the counter did a marvelous job helping the each of customers that walked through the door; the young lady that processed our order was truly hospitable and nice. We ordered four bundt cakes: carrot cake, chocolate chip, lemon-blueberry and cookies-and-cream. if I could give negative or zero stars I would. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a nothing Bundt cakes. Nothing Bundt cakes has appeared at EVERY celebration of ours, between birthdays and anniversaries. so on APRIL 16th we placed an order for UNR's graduation to celebrate the first college graduate in our family. Our pick up time was for 11:15. My daughter went to pick up our order at 12:04 after the graduation ran long, and we wanted to give some additional time to prepare our order as we knew it would be a busy day. By 12:27 she was still texting me that she was IN LINE, for a pickup order we placed a month prior. They should have created a second pick up line for already placed orders, especially since UNR graduation has been set for this date for a year and knew it would be busy. But no, they chose disorganization and didn't value any of their customers and had them waiting for ridiculous amounts of time (over 30 minutes?!?!) . My daughter missed most of her son's graduation lunch because of this wait, breaking her heart as she just wanted to bring his favorite dessert and missed almost the whole lunch because of NOTHING BUNDT CAKES. The employee told the person in front of my daughter that they were out of frosting, and that if they didn't have a flavor they would look to see if "they could steal one from an ahead order" UM. IM SORRY. SO PEOPLE PLACED ORDERS WEEKS AHEAD AND THEN DAY OF THEY WERE LOOKING TO COMPLETE NEW ORDERS WITH ORDERS PEOPLE HAD PLACED BUT HADNT PICKED UP YET?!?!?!? Picking up our placed order took over 40 minutes, while my elderly father was stuck waiting in the car for that entire time. To make up for this? They offered my daughter a free bundlet, only available to be redeemed from that one cursed location (we don't live in state and certainly will NEVER be back to this location even if we were in state again) absolutely ridiculous. This was so stressful that my daughter's Oura ring warned her she was in a high stress environment (to pick up a pre ordered cake! Imagine that!) Nothing Bundt cakes ruined our day and our celebration. I really hope that next year they just close for graduation since they clearly cannot handle it and they should not have people relying on them when they are incompetent in completing orders placed a month ahead. This was beyond disappointing, and I hope that someone from management reaches out to correct this. In the future we will no longer be ordering nothing Bundt cakes, despite our big family ordering them almost monthly for birthdays. IF ANYONE IS ORDERING FOR NEXT YEARS GRADUATION- DONT!!!!!!! I tried calling Nothing Bundt Cakes to place my order, but it went to voicemail mail, I tried to order on-line, unable to on the same day. I drove out to the store and asked if I could get two dozen bundtinitis and couple single servings. It will be 30 minute wait. They use to have them in stock. To pick up and go. The cakes are Delicious and I don't think I ever had a bad one! I took a dozen to my dermatologist and one to my Physical Therapist office, it's fun to hand them to others and you can see their face light up! Nothing Bundt Problems. I came in this morning for a 9:30 Pickup, after waiting almost 20 minutes in line, I was finally up to the register. They couldn't find my order with my name, even though my name was on it. After waiting about 10 minutes I was told at around 10:00 that my order hadn't been made yet. No warning, no phone call, nothing, just that it wasn't ready. Everyone in the store was having similar issues. I absolutely love Nothing Bundt Cakes -- they're always such a treat! Of course, some flavors are better than others, but that's totally subjective and depends on personal taste. So far, my favorites have been Classic Vanilla, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Strawberries & Cream. I tend to prefer the larger cakes over the little bundtlets because they're definitely more moist and overall better tasting. That said, the larger cakes are quite a lot of cake -- probably too much unless it's for a party or special occasion. Recently, I grabbed the Biscoff Cookie Butter bundtlet for my family to try before they sold out. Honestly, all four of us agreed we didn't quite get the hype around this one -- it was pretty dry and could have really used some vanilla ice cream to go with it. Nothing Bundt issues. Prepaid a cake order for my husband's birthday several days prior to delivery. I ordered it for delivery to alleviate the stress since we have an infant and a toddler. The day of delivery, I called the store to confirm it will be delivered. It took 11 calls for someone to answer the phone. The store could not find the order, then confirmed a wrong order, then stated the correct order be delivered during the delivery window. I placed on online order at 1:45 for pick up 1:30 the next day. When I arrived I waited for 30 minutes to be told my order was still not ready. I asked the clerk, Kiarra, if they could please place my order on the pick up rack so I wouldn't have to wait in line again. When I returned 30 minutes later my order was not on the rack and "still being boxed". Kiarra explained they were "under staffed" and I would just have to wait, eventually throwing my order on the counter when it was finally ready. Customer service is clearly not a priority here and to make the customer suffer for their lack of staffing and inability to fill orders placed a day in advance is completely unacceptable. What they show in the display case isn't always an indicator of what they have in stock, as they keep a lot of it in the back. Service. Complete failure on owner/manager. Over 2 hour wait for everyone in line picking up already ordered cakes. Couple of loud arguments at front door of people trying to pick up orders for their time slots but everyone in line were waiting for their pre ordered cakes too. Many people left but was surprised at all (including myself) that waited over 2hours. Poor employees that stuck it out after 2 or 3 quit and walked out. This is when I feel owner or manager should have been up front helping the poor girl doing the best she could. My order 12 assorted mini bundts was incorrect in what flavors I ordered but I was glad I got 12 mini bundts. The sweetest lady in front of me had ordered her cake two days prior for 11:00 am pick up when she got to front, it was not ready (I'm betting they probably sold to someone else) she opted for refund rather than wait any longer. I heard someone else say they already missed "the"birthday party. They should have quit taking on line orders and managed the situation much better. Employees that stuck it out deserve a huge bonus. Unfortunately I had an emergency on the date of pickup but received a courtesy phone call ( voicemail left) that if I wasn't able to pick up my order they'd reschedule for the next business day. When I don't have time to bake, this cute little shop is where you'll find me. This is my second visit this week alone because a few of my special people prefer their cakes. What's not to love? I love the simplicity of their bundt cakes and how moist they consistently are and the fact that their frosting isn't too sweet! All positives if you ask me. They have a few different styles for every occasion. I have enjoyed my past birthday cakes and this years Mother's day cake from here. It was such a sweet treat! I love this place! And in consideration of just how expensive grocery store cakes have gotten, this place is a bargain! The quality and freshness is so much better than your grocer's bakery. I thoroughly love the Classic Vanilla, while others in my family choose the Oreo Cookies & Cream and the Red Velvet. I tried the Pumpkin Spice on 10/01/25, due to a promo, and it seemed to lack the pumpkin spice flavors ... it tasted like pumpkin without the spices. I've never had it before so perhaps that's the norm? It was rather bland and not very sweet--but with the yummy cream cheese frosting, it was still tasty. Then, they had a promo on the Biscoff Butter Cookie Cake, this week, and I bought a Bundlet ... it was more cinnamon spicy than the Pumpkin Spice Cake--since the Pumpkin Spice Cake tasted like it had no pumpkin spice flavor, at all. But, the Biscoff Butter Cookie Cake is delicious!! My only suggestion would be to omit the bed of Biscoff Cookies that the cake sits upon, and to omit the cookie from the top of the cake ... the cake's moisture made the cookies freakishly soggy so, I peeled them away and tossed them in the garbage. Otherwise, this is my new favorite and back-up flavor (for a limited time, of course). The Store is always clean, and the Staff is very friendly and helpful; they treat me as if I'm a valued customer, and I love that they understand the value of their customers! I've never had a bad cake--nor, a dry cake from this Cakery. And, their Rewards program is generous. I highly recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes!! read more
