Ordering ice cream through Uber Eats is always a bit of a gamble, and unfortunately it had melted by the time it arrived. That said, the quality still came through. The flavors were rich, creamy, and clearly made with good ingredients, even after the trip. I can only imagine how good it would have been fresh in the shop. The delivery wasn't perfect, but the ice cream itself was absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be visiting in person next time so I can enjoy it the way it was meant to be served. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Very Berry Non-Dairy - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I do love a local creamery, however, when I go to Cold Stone it is simple. No tasting, no errors just the same order is available every time. So I have to give them full credit for longevity and reliability of product. Yes, the service is variable, luckily it is just ice cream. Plus they were here in Shopper's Square sincw wayyyyyy before the Reno Public Market brought in good food and competition. read more

Another HORRIBLE experience in this location! After numerous bad experiences, my daughter wanted to give them another try, I come to pay and price was definitely higher, i asked if they raised prices again?($11.50 for got to have it??) They say no..then I see a $1 up charge cause we asked to make sure there is plenty of "crunch" (gram cracker)...so the girl sausage it is "extra"... been a client for years, NEVER got charged for making sure they dont skimp on crunch or the request to chop it hood especially as this specific branch has been horrible! I walked away and left it behind! Who ever wins this franchise, you need to wake up!!!! read more

Stopped into Cold Stone on a Monday night after a trivia game. It was late, around 9:15 PM, but luckily they are open until 10 PM, even on. weeknights! My wife and I have been huge Cold Stone fans who have frequented this location for years. They moved into a new building since the addition of the Reno Public Market. The service when I visited was fast and friendly, even though they were fairly busy. I placed my order- cheesecake with pie crust. The nice gal prepared my ice cream quickly and got it rung up. You can eat inside, but there aren't a whole lotta tables. I took mine to-go to share with my wife at home. The ice cream at Cold Stone is always amazing. My usual order is sweet cream with chocolate cake, though I noticed chocolate cake as a mix-in is no longer an option. Sad :( The cheesecake with pie crust is a great option though, and my wife's favorite. Happy ice cream-ing! read more

I have to admit I was loyal to BR, but this place had always caught my eye. I'm such a huge ice cream fan, so going to a new spot? Of course, why not! There was a long line but that didn't stop me. I patiently waited my turn while carefully checking out the menu. I love that you can customize your ice cream just the way you like it. Even though it was super crowded, the girls at the front were super friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. OMG, the amount of ice cream they give you is insane and it tastes amazing too! I have to say... I just found my new addiction. read more

We decided to stop in here on a Saturday because Scheels ice cream/ gelato place was busy with no place to sit. Glad we did because there was no line and plenty of chairs to sit in. Consistent ice cream and larger portions compared to other chains. I also appreciate the friendly service which is a constant at this location. They go above and beyond with offering samples and tailoring your "make your own" to your exact specifications. I have also done a lot of online orders and they have never deviated from my exact order. The long lines can sometimes take a minute but only go to show what a top spot this is. read more

Rarely ever am I disappointed with coming here. My go-to is a Sweet Cream with Oreo and Banana. Very delicious. Service is pretty standard. Mostly just teenagers working here and it is a chain store, so I really don't expect much. The one girl that was working the front was pleasant. However, I'm not sure why the other girl ran and hid in the back and didn't step in to help out with the line. Especially when it takes a few minutes to mix in one order. read more

I stopped in for a sweet treat with my kiddos. My daughter has loved this place since she was a toddler. This is our first visit to this store. With as many employees as they had working; the line moved extremely slow. The girl helping me was a younger red head, and she made the "stuck together like caramel and fudge," when I went to order my second ice cream she said to hold on that someone else would make it and left. Service was definitely better in their old location. Two stars were for the poor service tonight. I had to ask to use my rewards, and then the girl told me to pay on the screen without deducting my BoGo deal. It was still less than what it should have been, but I took that out of the tip they would have received. I was inclined not to tip anything since I still tip on service. It's been years since our last visit, and I can't say I'll be rushing back anytime soon. It's way too crowded, and trash was overflowing. read more

Environment is good, but cold stone doesn't pay you to talk and I think they're a little too chatty when they have a line out of the doors but as far as the whole place would go I think they just need to pay attention to the customers just a little bit, but other than that, I really didn't have a problem with them read more

with the most peace and love in the world, we waited an hour in line. there was a line out the door and the workers were literally standing around and laughing and chatting and moving in the most slow pace known to man. i've worked food service before, i've been in rushes time after time. what you SHOULD NOT do in a rush is stand and talk behind people who are mixing ice cream cracking jokes and doing nothing. at the end of the day, it's ice cream, so it's not that serious. but if you see a line of any sort, please walk out the door. it should not take an hour to scoop ice cream. every worker was laughing and chatting, no sense of urgency. the people at register literally could not even remember what we ordered because they were busy talking about glee. we saw at least 7 people walk out the door because of how long they were taking read more

Always so much fun to watch this being made on the slab. However, I did not realize the portions of the addins going into ice cream were so "excessive" - I had the founders recipe. I can't tell you if the ice cream was good. There was too much syrup and brownie, I was so sad to see that they ruined their own ice cream and gave me this bowl of sugar. I was so disappointed. I might go again & do one add in, and ask for half if needed of the add in - as the recipes are clearly not for me. read more

Lady was very nice but other was ingnorant towards me walked away when it was are time to order

This is my go-to ice cream spot. I absolutely love getting chocolate ice cream with brownies and black cherries. Their black cherries remind me of Amarena cherries. They're a perfect balance of sweet and tart. It's hard to find true ice cream and Coldstone always delivers! This location definitely gets busy so prepare for a wait when you come! read more

While out with a friend one evening we decided to try this place out. We lucked out and no one was waiting in line when we walked in. I told the guy I wanted to try the dairy free chocolate one and he offered some choices for mix in and I chose peanut butter and chocolate sauce on top. He was friendly enough but when he put the chocolate sauce on it was overflowing and leaking down the side of my bowl. He noticed what a mess it was making and put my bowl in another empty bowl which still did not help. When I sat down the chocolate sauce was leaking all over the table . It tasted pretty good and was a good size serving. Overall if you are looking for a place to go out for ice cream this is not a bad choice. I try to patronize businesses that offer dairy free choices. read more

The staff are friendly and efficient and the ice cream is always tasty. The restaurant is clean and bright with plenty of seating. The newer location however is awful. While it's more convenient since moving from the previous spot, I'm not sure why, but there is much more of a homeless problem. Each time I have come, there are homeless begging for money right out front - one even knocked on the window of the car while my husband was sitting in it waiting for me. It certainly makes it so I do not want to come back. read more

I'm a big fan of ice cream and thoroughly enjoy the convenience of the availability of a chain store like Cold Stone. I've visited this new location twice now.
