I've been here a few dozen times. It's not as big as the other Yogurt beaches in town, but it does the job when we're nearby. I personally love the Gsr for their local deals and we have celebrated family birthdays here. We stopped in for a sweet treat after a nearby event yesterday. They had enough flavors of fro-yo. Cake batter and salted caramel are my go-tos these days and happy they were available, but I was a little disappointed with the toppings. I love adding almonds or peanuts to my fro-yo, but this store doesn't have any. It's self serve, but the cashier was nice enough. There were actual open seats inside the store so we actually dined in for our fro-yo. It's pricier here, (most casinos are),but they have their sign posted. Last night for our two fro-yos at $0.75 an oz came out to about $24. It's expensive for fro-yo, but we were passing by and didn't feel like dealing with crowd at the Spanish Springs location. read more

Not sure on your toppings/candy rotations system, but some of the candy tasted "old." A good snack after running around for an hour in the escape room, lol. Atmosphere - Small clean location. Take away mostly, very limited seating. Open 7 days a week from noon to 10pm or 11:15pm; Yelp hours differ slightly. Plenty of casino parking. Service - Self service, so good. Unlimited samples, thank you. FYI - Independent business from GSR, so comps don't work here. Family owned business, again supporting locals. Price - $13 for 20 oz. 62¢ an ounce. Ahh, reminiscing the days of my youth, taking my children when they were young out for frozen yogurt. Pay for the weight of your poured on goods. For me, it was the basics, vanilla yogurt with raspberry sauce and strawberries. Throw a few cookie dough pieces in for snacking. Great little escape from the crowded casino. I am very sad to see this once great business lose its polite, professional reputation. I have enjoyed frequenting this location of Yogurt Beach for many years, get in, get a treat, get out, simple, right? Yet, what I have seen recently is straight up negligence and an unwillingness to work from the staff at this location. I was trying to get in today when I noticed the store was closed, yet the staff were inside, looking at their phones and even inviting supposed friends in. When I came back to see that it was suddenly open, the cashier (who's name was listed as JOHNNY on the receipt) was very rude, staring at his phone when he should be doing the simplest task of ringing me up. You don't have to smile, you don't have to like your customers, but you do have to ACTUALLY WORK instead of looking at your PHONE! I understand the job market is in the gutter right now and most Gen Zers will have trouble ever getting a house, but now I am starting to understand why some boomers call them lazy, even though they are the GENERATION THAT WILL LITERALLY WORK THE MOST!!! Sure, Yogurt Beach prides itself on hiring the youth, but it is compromising its image by allowing this to continue, and I would hate to see this location go under because of screw ups like this. Service was exceptional for a 'build your own' yogurt place. Very friendly staff, the store was clean, the toppings fresh and well maintained (proper temperature and appealing looking). I always come to the gsr i dont know how i missed this spot. I am so happy I came across it. There was no wait but the decor here is so nice. They have a good amount of options. I opted for dole pineapple and strawberry. They have the biggest variety of toppings I ever seen at a yogurt spot. It was very neat and organized. The table was a surf board so cute. Yogurt beach is the closest thing that Reno has to the very popular Yogurtland down in Los Angeles. I brought my nephew and my little one with me to yogurt beach. They really liked their selections. They have lots of toppings available and lots of fruit. The store was very neat and clean. I really appreciated that. The store was busy but not as packed. There's plenty of parking available in the hotel lot. I'm sure we will be back for another visit not too long from now. read more

This place has become our family's regular stop for delicious frozen yogurt with what seems like unlimited toppings for multiple flavors of yogurt or custard style! The workers are friendly, professional, proficient and always helpful. The ambiance is as the owners describe it, "Ten minutes of vacation" at the beach. I was super excited for my sweet treat after a big day of running. The flavor selection was great and I got half cake batter half chocolate but it lowkey splurted out of the machine very fast. The topping selection was not great. I was looking for the marshmallows and was disappointed to find that they did not exist. As I was eating it, my teammate asked me how it tasted. Located in the lower level of Grand Sierra Casino across from Roundtable pizza: GSR should do more signage and advertising for this gem. They offer 2 sizes regular or large, get to choose 2 toppings for regular. I chose 2 flavors pineapple and original tart with mochi ( multicolored) and blueberries. $7.50. The cup wasn't filled to the top so I deducted a star. Otherwise service was good. You can't touch any of the machines and topping bar so the sales associate puts it all in the cup for you. Tastewise Everything was good except mochi was a little hardened, maybe old? Otherwise it was a yummy treat esp on a hot day in August. YOLO! Located inside the GSR in their basement dungeon, it's a welcome addition! My kids are huge "swirls" fans and have recently become obsessed with these places. We managed to have pizza buffet first before heading 30 feet across the hall to grab yogurt here. I had gotten myself a big cup of frozen yogurt and was disappointed to see it was very gloppy...almost liquid. When I brought this to the attention of your worker who, by the way, refused to give his name, but he wears a cowboy hat and I have pictures of him, he told me that the machines could not keep up and that's just the way it came out. He then turned to make two milkshakes for two boys who were waiting. I waited thinking he would get back to me. Well, he didn't. He turned around and started helping a couple of older adults. I then walked around to the front of the counter and he asked me what else I wanted. I asked for a credit for another time. He refused and told me I could get the frozen yogurt now or just throw away what I just paid for. I thought that that would be futile if all of the yogurt was gloppy so since I realized he was not going to help me, I asked for your names or the managers'. He said he was not allowed to give out the owners or the managers' names as he would "get fired." So unfortunately, this is the only way I can contact you to let you know about my dissatisfaction. I have been a customer ever since you opened, have never asked for a credit nor have I had a negative experience. This is the first. In addition, as an educator I have purchased many gift cards for frozen yogurts for special occasions for my students or end of the year party. I wanted to keep my dissatisfaction private between us but I have no way of contacting you. In addition, when I took your worker's picture, he stated have a nice day but it was very condescending. I told him he didn't need to be condescending and replied, "Well if you're gonna take my picture, that's the way I'm going to be." I would like this rectified as I want to be able to return but cannot until I experience a good faith response. I believe a credit and a talk with your employee and a way to get hold of your or your managers would be helpful. Thank you. for your attention to this matter.
