How have I never been to Frankie's Fruit Bar until now?!?! I have been missing out. I finally went today and was so happy I did- I got a big ol' container of fresh mango (ripe! Wooohooo!) and coconut!! I haven't had fresh coconut in forever. Man was it delicious. I got it plain but I am sure it's also tasty with tajin/chamoy/chili and lime. Now I will have to go back and try everything else! There were tons of flavors of paletas- even currant- and they looked SO good. Ice cream, raspados, aguas frescas - I have never seen a pecan drink before so I definitely need to try that! I do wish the menu had prices/a little more info but I also feel like you can't really go wrong, probably. And there are pictures. I am very excited to have this option heading into spring/summer - it all seemed like it would be SO refreshing! Ok maybe not the elote but yum.

    Chamango! ($9)

The place is bright and clean! It feels brand new and seems like they take great care after making anything to keep things wiped down and organized. There are tons of freezers filled with ice creams and maybe syrups, popsicle bars, and more! I assume the older lady working was maybe an owner, along with a younger man. This was my first experience with these types of drinks despite being a native Nevadan, which has such a large Latino and Hispanic population. So, I had to ask the difference between their offerings. Eventually, I asked the young man what he recommended for a first-timer. So he gave me the Chamango - mango ice cream, chemoya, candied tamarind and Tajin seasoning. Next, we discussed the tosti's. I wanted the one that had clamato, which was the tosti loco, supposedly pork rinds and cabbage. But then asked if the ceviche one has clamato too, and he said no, so I said, "Okay, I'll do the loco still (because I wanted the Clamato)." But I ended up getting the ceviche which I don't even care about because i didnt communicate it clearly lol,. I was just trying to try new to me things. The shrimp were fresh, the cucumber and tomato refreshing, and the tortilla chips were almost like round doritos, but as hwabily seasoned! Basically, it's a win in my book. Lastly, with it being summer, I've been on a corn kick (tell me if you know the movie quote "GET THAT CORN OUTTA MY FACE!), so I had to get the elote. The sweet older lady brought it to my table and said "2 for 1", which was so nice to offer me. I felt bad all i could do was say thank you. Overall, they made me feel welcome as a yt girl lol, and were so friendly. I can't wait to support them more with some smoothies and their delicious looking fruit bowls! Do yourself a favor and get some summertime refreshments on a hot day!

    Chocolate covered bananas and strawberries

My wife heard about this place and wanted to check it out. We visited during Covid-19 so they had signs posted asking that people remain outside unless they were ordering. Since we were not familiar with the menu we asked a few questions and my wife decided on chocolate covered bananas and strawberries! We then proceeded to go outside and waited for our order. It was 10-15 minutes later which seemed like a long time since they weren't very busy but maybe they had to-go or phone orders that we are unaware of. My wife was very pleased with the order and enjoyed it very much. Tip for the guys: This is a great place to get some chocolate dipped fruit for your significant other. Remember that for special occasions. Next time we will call in ahead of time. Check this place out!!!

Nostalgic! I grew up near the border in Southern California and have so many memories of visiting Baja California! This place is delicious - the treats are spot on and it offers something for everyone. Can't wait to come back! Follow us on Instagram: http://Instagram.com/nevada_adventure_family

While perusing Facebook I saw a post for Frankie's Fresh Fruit and had to check it out. When I discovered that it is 10 minutes from my home we decided to load up right then...dog too...to go for a drive for some treats. I love paletas (ice cream, popsicle bars) and was happy to know there was a place nearby. One of us got a scoop of ice cream and a frozen banana dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts that he throughly enjoyed. I picked out a selection of paletas to take home. They have a very nice selection of ice cream and paletas. You can get shapes, sundaes, banana splits...they also have several aqua frescas and they offer savory that's too. Elote, all things hot cheeto dust too...Definitely coming back to try some of those. When we got home I immediately are the cookies and cream paleta. Tge ice cream was perfection. Later...I couldn't wait until the next day. I had to have the pineapple snd chamoy popsicle. So good. So hot...but perfect amount. Now that I have also tried the strawberries and cream paleta I can say that this place knows what they are doing. So, so good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that their prices are not displayed. I'm sure they tell you. We were too excited and walked out with $30 in treats but...worth it. The person helping us was super nice. I said I would do a Yelp review and he thanked me. He asked how we heard of them and thanked us for coming in. I told him, we will be back! They are located on Moana in the strip mall next to Bobos Mogul Mouse. Quiet unassuming place. Check them out!

    fresas con crema fruit cup

Pretty good food, we had a bread with meat inside i'm not sure what it's called kind of looks like a torta, i wish they had salsa for it tho. But i got really full from it. Then we had some dessert afterwards fresas con crema and a fruit cup. the strawberry's were really big! and i loved the presentation on the fruit cup. I wish they'd have a bell on the door though because some costumers had to wait a while before the employees in the back would help them, The place look very clean and organized. They had some music and i like that it wasn't too loud. Employees were kind. They don't have restrooms for the public unfortunately I did have to use the restroom. Their menu is very simple and easy I will be coming again soon.

    Elote off the cob!

I'm following another YES that doesn't do reviews, she only checks in! Kinda crazy why she's still there! I ordered the strawberry Creme drink with whipped cream and also the Elote put into a cup. It was absolutely fantabulish! Omg the Elote has Mayo, cheese, butter, and of course some chili powder! Yummmmmmmmm.....wow I reached out to that friend that had been there several occasions bcuz I wanted to check out! Whatever, I guess you can be YES and just check in with no reviews as she does! The strawberry and cream drink I had was truly the best ever! Can't wait to go back! Sad thing is that she is part of my sisterhood and can't write reviews!!! Omg you are so lucky to keep that title of YES bcuz all you do is check in, we can't even see what you've ordered and can't get recommendations! I'm done with this right now!

Frankie's gets three stars simply because my smoothie was really yummy and I needed a quick energy boost. What was missing from my experience was entirely in the hands of the young lady who was working at the shop. Their menu was colorful but void of details. And, this gal wasn't going to give up the info. What's in your smoothie? Smoothie powder. Hmmmm , what is that? A vanilla powder. (I have no idea what that is) What is in your slushy? Shaved ice. That's it. This gal seemed absolutely miserable in her job. So... I have no idea if they use fresh fruit, juice, syrups, milk, soy, almond. You get the picture. Perhaps if there would have been a menu that gave the info, I could have chosen wisely. I will say, my smoothie was yummy but that in no way indicated if she used quality ingredients. I may go back and give it another go when I'm not so tired. If I have more energy I can get the info on what they actually use to make their goodies.

I've been coming to Frankie's for about 1.5-2 years now! I first found out about it while I was getting my hair done at Lokal Salon when a dad/son duo walked in to sell fruit and nuts to the hairstylists. I snagged a mixed fruit one and was sold! Now, anytime I'm craving something sweet, I'll opt for some Frankie's fruit! It's healthy, fresh, and juicy. Plus their smoothies are made fresh and delicious! I haven't tried everything on their menu yet, but their fruit does not disappoint. You can get watermelon, mango, pineapple, or a mix with kiwi, coconut, and strawberries. Top with some Tajin and you've sold me! I love supporting this locally owned business! I will say that they are priced higher than I expected, but that doesn't bother me too much!

A lot of fun options here! Fruit was fresh and service was great. Will be coming back to try the tocos locos
