I am a bit surprised at the bad reviews for Dunkin'. We were motivated to try it because we saw the advertisement for pumpkin spice lattes and doughnuts. We used the drive thru and the staff was friendly and efficient. They were out of the pumpkin spice beverages, but I can understand supply issues, ever since COVID. We got Carmel lattes and they were delicious. We also got sausage breakfast croissants which were better than other fast food establishments. The pumpkin donuts were very tasty. We plan to go back to try other items. read more

This review gets one star because zero isn't an option. Stopped in to this (Sparks) location after doing shopping at Target. When we first walked in, I was a little put off by how messy the store was. We were greeted by a very unhappy employee at the register with "what do you want?" There was no other words spoken by her for the entire transaction and it made us feel very unwelcome. After sitting down at a table, I could see how desperately this location needs to be cleaned. Not sure why I keep giving this DD a try because I'm disappointed every time. I'm from east coast where there is a DD on every corner serving delicious coffee & donuts and so it's rough ordering from here and it just not being close to what you're hoping for. I mean it's a franchise so don't they all use the same coffee beans? It just doesn't really taste good here. Stale? Old? Maybe since east coast runs on Dunkin they've had more time to nail down their product and with more practice they'll get it right over here?! Doughnuts are awesome and delicious. Dunkin are not that great, but are still doughnuts so I'll give a 3 star. Usually too dry and not worth the price. Coffee is also not great. Flavors are kinda weird too. Definitely not my first choice but i will still eat if available. read more

Thoroughly disappointed with the service two days ago. After a long day at work I Drive ten minutes out of my way super excited to try the highlighted Cinnamon Sugar Iced Signature Pumpkin latte as well as a pumpkin donut. Upon arriving through drive through was told "were all out. What can I get you?" Well let me figure it out since what I came for is gone? I left disappointed and top of that the girl that was the cashier thought it was hysterical that I asked her what other seasonal coffees they had (Creme brûlée I gave as an example). Everything was met with a flat "no." I ended up picking up a coffee with better service down the street. I just had to say that the owner reached out and stated they are making major improvements and offered a complimentary drink of my choice. I did go back in and noticed right away the change in tone of cashiers from my prior visit, it was way more upbeat and helpful. I noted that they are making improvements and will definitely be coming back. The iced cinnamon signature pumpkin latte was just the right amount of pumpkin and sweet not too much or too little. Three worlds...what the hell. That's what I said when I tasted the food I ordered. I hate leaving negative reviews but it was not it for me. I ordered the avocado toast, ( keeping in mind that it's Dunkin' Donuts so I wasn't expecting it to be amazing like it was coming from a restaurant) it was horrible. Plain as hell. This is how I would describe the taste... it was like they took a piece of bread that has been sitting behind a shelf for months and threw it in a toaster oven for 30 seconds and spread old avocado on it and sprinkled salt & pepper on top. Like really now. Really disappointed. And the new refreshers are absolutely disgusting. I was expecting it to taste similar to Starbucks but man it was vile. I got the blueberry pomegranate refresher and it tasted like diabetes in a cup. It was insanely sweet and tastes like cough medicine. I had one sip and unfortunately had to throw it out. I have always wanted to go to DD as we don't have them in Seattle area. We arrived at 9am on a Friday and morning rush hour was in full swing and they were busy. We waited around 12 minutes in line before we ordered and the iced coffees and wrap took a additional 7ish minutes. The employees didn't smile much and seemed stressed. The drive thru ladies smiled though and checked on my order. The wrap tasted strange and a little metal flavored but iced mocha was delicious and 32 ounces ! Can get nonfat! Donuts were yummy as expected. I love Starbucks and the only thing that would make me go back to DD again is the price and size of my morning latter.. really good prices here! But the food was weird tasting and waited almost 20 minutes to get through and get our items. This has become our favorite donut shop. My son's favorite only exists here, regular cake donut with strawberry and rainbow sprinkles. I like the iced coffee with cream. Simple coffee, yeah! This American classic breakfast pastry is hard to improve on. I think we always want what we either never had or can't have. The donuts at DD are fresh and cooked to perfection. On both occasions I tried DD the boxes magically got devoured promptly. They have a variety of flavors and include original glazed, chocolate, chocolate dipped french cruller (a must try), strawberry, sour cream, jelly donut, old fashion, etc. On both occasions I visited they had several different flavors and a few staples. The donuts were soft and tasted very fresh. The french cruller was one of my favorites and is very airy. The chocolate glaze on the french cruller is also great since it is not too sweet. They have a great selection of drip and ice coffee. They also have decaff iced coffee. The ice coffee was great and the sizes were Texas style. I ordered a medium and got a California large. I don't recommend getting the non coffee drink items. The vanilla bean coolatta was overly sweet and I probably should have expected that when ordering. They prices were cheap compared to other competitors a dozen donuts was under $9. They have bagels and breakfast sandwiches that look good. I can't comment on the other food items but I will be back to try them. There was a 15 minute wait in the morning to get donuts but I knew there would be a wait ahead of time and expected it. Some staff appeared new so I will cut them some slack on the slow service. Since this location is new it is very clean and has a good store layout. They also have a drive-thru if you are feeling lazy and don't want to walk. If you are visiting the Reno/Sparks area I would definitely try DD. read more

We came here after my kids had their dental appointments (counter productive I know) The staff was friendly. They were both smiling and seemed in a good mood. The seating is nice and comfy. There is a lot of lighting from outside which makes it nice to sit and relax. Enjoy the sun without the heat! The entrance can be hard to find if you do not know where to go. Doughnuts are always good. I don't get fancy drinks from here, so I can't say for those... ... here is my issue. Every time I come in, no matter the day or time, they are always out of the staples. Today I went in at 10:30 am, it's a Sunday, they had no maple bars, no chocolate bars, no glaze twist, no buttermilk... you get my drift I'm sure. But they have a crap ton of these blueberry ones and strawberry, and they push them hard. But when I come in for a dozen I want an assortment and I can't even do that because they don't have anything. I had to get multiples of the same thing. When I order drinks I like to order with light to no ice because I get more drink for my money and the drink is still cold regardless of ice. Unfortunately when I asked for light ice, the employee said that the drink would not be full because the size is based on how much ice is put in the drink. I asked how much regular ice would fill up the cup and she said they put ice all the way to the top! I just settled with regular ice but what a scam. You're paying for ice and a little coffee. I am obsessed with 1 thing and only one thing here. The Beyond breakfast sandwich on the croissant! I went primarily plant based in October 2019 and there are a few things I miss. Staff was young and seemed confused most of the time. Pricing was decent. My issue is the quality of the donuts. The filling in each one was basically nothing. I haven't been to this establishment in over 10 years and I really forgot why up until yesterday. I walked in and I wanted to get some donuts and some donut holes and 2 iced coffees to go, however everyone who worked there looked miserable and angry, and did not want to be bothered. I ordered a small iced coffee and a medium iced coffee and the person that was taking care of me on the counter didn't even say "Hey how are you? How can I help you? Welcome in." She said "let me know what you want to order." So I just ordered one small iced coffee and one medium iced coffee. She went over to make them at a snail's pace. She said "here's your order" and walked away. I realized that she made me two small iced coffees so I showed her my receipt and let her know an error was made on my order. She grabbed one of the small iced coffees put it in a medium cup, and just added more ice. Everyone that worked there look like they hated their jobs. Those who were on a break lounging around the café looked as though they were at a breaking point, and we're just drained from all the existence of wanting to live. While the food wasn't anything to write home about, it was pretty good for a fast food restaurant. I decided to go into the store to order and eat my breakfast. I was called to the counter near the dining/chill area to be told that my coffee was at the pickup counter. So I had to walk around the dining room to grab my coffee. The employee who walked over could have offered to grab my coffee, but she didn't (clueless). As soon as I got back to the dining area, they called me back to the pickup counter to grab my breakfast.
