I've gone to Dunkin Donuts three times now and only one of those times was my drink actually good. The first time, the staff were friendly and I got one of their travel cups, 2 donuts,and their sweet and salty cold brew. The drink was really good; the coffee was sweet and it had the salty whipped topping. I tried going there before work a couple days later to get another sweet and salty cold brew,but they gave me bitter, unsweetened iced coffee with salty topping. Yuck! I didn't have time to go back and I tried calling the number on the receipt,but it just rang a couple times and gave me a dial up noise. Not to mention, Monique in the drive-thru was rude and unhelpful. I tried again the next day(had to go inside because the drive-thru was broken) and ordered a small vanilla iced coffee because I figured there would be less chance of that getting messed up. Wrong! What I got was more cream and sugar than coffee and it was undrinkable. I didn't have time to go back in and have them remake it because I was on the way to work and already put behind because their drive-thru was broken. I'm honestly unsure if I even want to go back and try again. I was so excited to have a decent coffee place near me,but I may just wait for Starbucks to open. *Update: this place is still pretty awful. You have to rate your experience each time you go and create one opinion, this is by far the most understaffed location of any eatery I've ever seen. I waited 15 minutes as the first person in line, inside the restaurant just waiting for my order to be taken. The staff is incredibly overworked and can't keep up with the pace as there isn't enough of them. This is a travesty. It's too bad, they have a good attitude and the place is clean. Ordered a chipotle chicken breakfast wrap, it was literally cold and didn't have any chicken in it. Also, I asked the guy taking orders about a coffee and he replies "I don't know, I don't even drink coffee." At least a girl in the back noticed and corrected his unhelpful thoughtless answer, but WOW who hired that guy? Didn't get a name but it's the white dude with long hair. I'd give zero stars if I could. It was my wife's birthday. I ordered an ice cream cake. I was called and told that the flavor that I chose was not available. I asked to substitute peanut butter and chocolate. When I picked up the cake, the ticket read that it was only chocolate ice cream. I called and told them (in time for the cake to be corrected before my wife's birthday), and the manager lied and said it was a misprint on the ticket. It really was peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. The cake maker called me and lied as well. Of course when I cut the cake, it was only chocolate ice cream. Wife's birthday cake ruined. I called the store immediately. The manager on duty could not have cared less. She took my name (but not my number) so that her boss could call me then hung up on me. Very slow and Incredibly rude. We waited for our coffee and food by the window and an employee opened the window with an attitude and asked if we had received all of our stuff. We said no. She acted as if we and doing her job were an inconvenience to her. She acted this way the whole time then on. She was just very rude and it was very unpleasant. Terrible. I've given them multiple opportunities to win me over and I'm disappointed every time. I got an iced coffee and it was disgusting, tasted like the milk was sour - twice. Another time I pulled up to the window and they said they'd be right with me, but after waiting a good ten minutes with no other acknowledgement I just left. Today I went and gave my order, pulled up to the window and after a few minutes was asked "what'd you have?" 16 August 2020 So I understand because of COVID hours are changed. No biggie. This dunkin has posted that they close at 5 PM. I went there today at 4:30PM. And sat at the drive thru ready to order, just to be ignored. And then, because I was curious as to what was up, I drove to the drive thru window and saw that the employees were inside just cleaning and ignoring the line of 5+ cars that had formed at the order station. Strike 2, Dunkin Donuts! Went to Niceville location on May 4th for 2 donuts and was told they were all out of donuts. At 3:00 in the afternoon, ok, so maybe I can understand that but you're open until 8:00. What are you going to sell? Went again today, May 11th, for a decaf latte and was told they were out of decaf beans so they couldn't make a decaf latte. At 4:00 in the afternoon, most people don't was CAFFEINE! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Being a customer there the donuts always tasted stale and they seem to never have anything in stock. Not many places in Niceville that serve donuts though. I ended up working there (which lasted a day) and left due to the place being so unsanitary. It absolutely disgusted me. After that I will no longer eat there. Frosting that sits out overnight for bugs to crawl over them. The place not being cleaned properly etc. I have never been so disgusted by a place. Ordered a large cold brew iced coffee as I typically do at any other Dunkin. It was horrific. So bitter. I ordered extra cream and there wasn't extra. I went back around to exchange the drink for a regular coffee. The girl was understanding and very nice about it. She was slammed in the drive thru as well as taking phone calls. The 2nd coffee was worse. No ice, so they must have poured hot coffee over ice. It tasted like a cup of soap water. Now I frequent Dunkin, I know their quality. These drinks do not stand up to Dunkin quality. We also ordered two toasted bagels. Both came to me barely toasted and cold with barely a cream cheese. Huge disappointment Niceville. Only car in the drive-thru, no one in front of us and were made to wait 10 minutes before they let us order. Pull up and there are three people working and only one customer in the store. Then made to wait another 10 minutes for 3 small coffees. Why it takes 20 minutes to get three drinks with no other customers is absolutely asinine. Then when they give you the drinks and are absolutely terribly rude and treat you like you are an inconvenience...ridiculous. EVERY time I come to this location it's like this. Well it doesn't seem like this one star review is going to come as a surprise nor will anything be done about it based on previous reviews, but here goes nothing. The drive thru was extremely backed up, so after 10min sitting with out moving we decided to get out of line and walk in. The place doesn't look as though it has been cleaned in a month... I can say the same about the girl working the front counter. Her clothing was incredibly soiled along with her hat... her finger nails had so much dirt you couldn't not notice, and it seemed it was taking all she had to stay there and do her job rather go to the bathroom and shoot up whatever it is she was clearly on, between scratching her arms, scalp (gross) and barely being able to get out a sentence, that was about enough right there for me to walk right out the door. So waited in the drive thru for 10min, waited in line for 10min all to find they have nothing to make sandwiches. No English muffins, bread, bagels.... NOTHING! They're donut wall was a disgrace nearly every donut basket was empty. How does one open their doors, full we knowing that you don't have the products needed to provide quality service. Needless to say we left with out purchasing anything. Wasted half an hour out of our day for a complete disappointment. I don't know why I even bother trying this place again. It's the only donut shop I've ever been to where they never have any donuts!! This am I was there at 6 and they said the baker didn't come in so they were frantically scrambling to bake and run the store. Seems like there would be a back up plan for this scenario? Standard Dunkin' Donuts. Clean store, people are nice. The donut pickings were a little slim on a Saturday afternoon. Their donuts tasted pretty "manufactured". The chocolate donut and frosting tasted more like chemicals than chocolate. It was also very firm...as in not crumbly at all.
