I stopped here and went inside. Dunkin' Donuts is working hard to get the laptop crowd by offering. The have power outlets, they have wifi and they have coffee. Oh, and donuts. I hung around for about a half hour. The staff did a pretty good job of turning over customers, keeping the tables clean and one was sweeping up trash outside. My coffee was very good and my bagel sandwich was good. They do have a drivethrough here. read more

Love this place. I've actually made several good friends there and service is almost always good. I love the frozen drinks they make!!! I see others complaining about staff changes but it's with any business especially fast food. Some workers don't tend to stay too long and with training new ones comes slower times but I don't care. Used to love this dunkin' but with new crew members it has gone to shit. They got our order wrong and upon having to refund the manager was super rude. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with avocado spread on the side and they gave me half of a bagel with the spread. Doesn't make sense because I paid for the full bagel, so then I had to ask and they gave me a rock hard burnt bagel. Ordered the tacos no bacon and was charged for the bacon tacos, which are extra and they didn't even have bacon. The Boston cream donut didn't have any cream in it either, laughing. Not sure how this location has any 1 star reviews. This is the BEST dunkin location in the area. Not joking. I used to work over at the Olive Garden in Monroe and would go by there every morning and now that I don't work out that way I'm genuinely sad I can't go to this one more often. Sometimes I will make a special trip to Monroe just to get coffee from this location. They have what every other location nearby seems to lack, FLAVOR! These team members know how to make a coffee! I just made a special trip down there today and unfortunately their latte machine wasn't working, so I asked for a refund. They asked me if they could get me a donut or something for the trouble and not only did they give me a donut but they gave me TWO AND munchkins! And most importantly, the manager sincerely apologized and said that he hates I drove there for nothing which is why he gave me more to make it worthwhile anyway. This has always been my favorite location taste and quality wise but after today I see that the customer service is even more amazing than I already thought it was. The donuts are standard D&D fare. The issue I've had each visit so far is the service. Specifically each visit a particularly pushy, impatient female order taker over the intercom. The cashier at the actual window was fine, it's the behind the scenes individual. Patronizing attitude. No one else was in the drive thru line before or behind me so...why so pushy in making me hurry to order and nagging me when I've not decided and I've already asked politely for a moment? 2 strikes so far when visiting with my child for a random morning treat 2 separate visits. Even my 9 year old commented on it this AM and I hadn't said a word to him about it! Wow Mom why was she being so pushy?! I won't bother stopping at this location again. Not the way I need to begin me or my child's day,--with aggravation. To this staff member: So sorry to have inconvenienced you with my patronage to your business and ensuring you thereby have a job! But it shows that you're not exactly happy with that position in the first place, so I guess this store can die out along with the other businesses surrounding it on that end of Independence/74. Work at a local business. We often go to Dunkin first thing in the morning. Walk over cause of proximity. Shocked this morning to find dining area closed without notice. Was really needing the morning pick me up so am extra disappointed in this development. No sign on door...ignored by staff...in future will take the extra steps to go on to Chik-Fil-A. read more

Walked in this morning to order doughnuts, the lady working the drive thru was using profane language and threatened the cashier with "kicking her ass". This is not how you treat people you work with. Especially in front of customers. I felt terrible for this older employee working the cash register. I told her I hope her day gets better and that she did not deserve the way she is being treated. She apologized over and over again that I had to witness this and she was just counting down the minutes until her shift ended. The lady working the drive thru was much younger and extremely RUDE. I really hope someone looks into the staff that works at this location. read more

This is my once or twice a week I spoil me and my girlfriend and we come so often the workers know what we want before we tell them. The thing we change up is our drinks but always same food. Sometimes a donut or two. Before when we first started coming here we got awful customer service from certain workers. I've seen a lot of growth in this location and I hope they keep improving. They neeeeeed to work on communication skills. That's where they fall apart at. But their food is great. They train new workers very well I can tell. Me and my girlfriend do enjoy coming here they're very nice to us. I'd like to take certain workers to the new opening of the Dunkin' Donuts in Waxhaw. But they said they like where they are. People always want to write a review when service is BAD. In this case, I will be doing the total opposite. I visit this location almost every morning. The staff is always friendly at the drive thru, always a smile. They are always prompt and have my order correct. They always tell me to have a great day. The coffee I order is ALWAYS perfect. So I have visited this location several times. Tried again today at 1pm , order Munchkins, was told they only had 3 glazed, and some blueberry. This had happened every time. So I asked the gentleman why they don't make more, he replied , "We make them in the morning and if we run out then we don't have any." I then stated, but your a doughnut shop why not make more? Standard DD as another stated; however, customer service is NOT consistently bad. Yes, there seems to be an employee with a sour attitude that takes your drive-thru order, but not the one who actually greets you at the window. I don't know. My husband and I pulled into the parking lot on 12/2/17 a little after 6pm. We were going to go inside and get some coffee. The parking lot was empty. As soon as we pulled up 2 male employees who were sitting outside on the patio smoking, put their cigarettes out and walked back inside glaring at us through the window like we were interrupting their break.
