In fact, the last time I got that donut was probably when I was a child. Unlike most shops, the frosting was, indeed, strawberry flavored and not just some bullshit icing with pink dye. They also offered novel combinations, like coconut lychee and a pecan donut that had the most complex profile: sweet, smokey, with a slight funk. I've never tasted anything like it. The flavors strangely worked well together. The brown butter donut was the pièce de résistance. It was wonderfully sweet and salty, reminiscent of a butterscotch square.
