The vegan donuts are sourdough, which I don't come across very often, so I was especially excited to try them. I got the blueberry glaze and horchata, and both were delicious. Great drink selection and I was lucky enough to have a slice of warmed king cake during my visit. If you haven't had the privilege of tasting king cake, it is a must try! Soft pillowy dough with ribbons of cinnamon sugar. Think the lightest fluffiest cinnamon bun you've ever had. Also it is located next to Kid's empire so it's a great place to get caffeinated before playing with the kiddos next door.

The owner is the nicest, most genuine woman - a truly rare find these days. You're basically just going over to your friend's house to hang out and eat. Yes, the slow food movement can come with a cost - but you can sit there all day with the free secured WiFi, climate control, and electricity and no one will say boo. Plus, the place is absolutely SPOTLESS (good luck finding this standard of cleanliness literally anywhere). Off-menu offerings vary daily and they'll pretty much make anything you want if they have the ingredients (breakfast frittata, here I come). For this first visit, I tried the apricot cornetto and The Classico specialty drink (a mocha with bits of Ferrero Rocher). Both were very good and not overloaded with added sugars. I stayed for a while and later ordered the prosciutto, mozzarella, and pesto sandwich for lunch; it was also very tasty and made with some great bread (wherever they sourced it from).

Some of the pastries are literally imported from Italy, and the rest? Handmade by the baristas themselves like it's just a normal Tuesday. No hype, no speech, no "wait till you try this" they just slide you something life changing and move on with their day. The homemade pastries (like the one in the pic) are criminally good. Flaky, buttery, dusted with powdered sugar. One bite and you're mad this isn't closer to your house. This is NOT your "let me rearrange my croissant for Instagram" type of place. No neon signs, no latte art shaped like a swan having an identity crisis. And they don't need any of that. The coffee is legit, the imported pastries are elite, and the homemade stuff is on another level. Quality is doing all the talking here. I come here most mornings and the baristas are cool people, efficient, friendly, and not forcing small talk when you clearly haven't had caffeine yet (huge win). Only downside: the storefront blends in way too much with the other shops. This place deserves to stand out. Solution? Simple. Hang a big Italian flag outside. Problem solved. If you know, you know. New Jersey breakfast royalty, mounted on a carb throne. Salt and pepper? Nah. Just ketchup. This little bagel sammich is a certified banger. The Taylor ham is salty and crispy, the egg is good, and the cheese melts into everything. And that plain bagel? Soft on the inside, just enough chew on the outside, holding together a greasy masterpiece like a true professional. It's the kind of sandwich that requires two hands, extra napkins, and zero self respect. People here are super chill, the place is clean, and they crank these out fast because they know nobody's here to socialize, we're here to eat. There is seating, but heads up, the foot traffic is heavy and the tables are basically in the splash zone. If people walking inches from your face while you eat bugs you, grab it to go. Personally, I don't love being shoulder checked mid bite. Parking? A pain when it's packed, but what are you gonna do. Bottom line: one of the best spots for a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese.

What a fantastic little piece of Italy you will find in this very authentic little market. Looking for that hard to find, authentic Italian product; be it jarred or canned food specialties, coffee beans directly imported from a small village it Italy, (which I went home with), household items like espresso makers, dishware, coffee pots, novelty clothing and more, this is the place for you. San Remo may be small in size but you couldn't find a more old world, comfortable, clean and friendly place to share a great cup of coffee/cappuccino/espresso, (I understand they do have some bakery products available) either alone or with friends. There is no seating inside San Remo but they do have some tables set up outside. The owner, Raphael (Ralph) Venezia is a cordial, very friendly gentleman who obviously takes great pride in every cup of coffee he makes. Really makes you feel welcomed and at home.
