So I thought I saw a Dunkin Doughnuts on Commander Sheppard a while ago, but I didn't pay it any mind. I really thought it was connected to the gas station just like the ones on Mercury BLVD. Well it is and it isn't connected to the gas station. This DD, has been built inside of the drive through car wash that was in the parking lot of the gas station. Now they did it right. No slam bam thank you mam construction. But when you first see it, it is not a given on whether you can walk in or if it is drive in only. After driving around the structure once, I realized that it was Drive through only. When I pulled up, the young lady who took my order was so pleasant that it really made my day and got me going. She kindly explained that the Gucci doughnuts I wanted had a .50 up-charge. I said, no problem and I was off to the pickup window to get my 2 doughnuts. The only downside to not walking in is that you can't see the available doughnuts. You have to know what you want or take a gander at the pictures on the drive through marquee. My Gucci Doughnuts were not pictured. That being said, DD has some pretty decent breakfast options that will rival the meals available at McDonald's and Hardee's. I'll be back. read more

Lazy incompetent staff!!! For some reason everytime we come here on Sundays the older women working always claim their "frozen drink machine is broken" even though they literally are just putting ice into a blender. Today was the 3rd Sunday they've tried to give excuses to not be able to make our frozen drinks. Last week it was "we are out of the cocoa powder" and the week before it was "our machine is broken, we can't make frozen drinks". Oddly enough I could see into the kitchen with a perfectly good blender. Also after they said they were out of the cocoa powder they ended up bringing out our frozen chocolate drink like two minutes later . It's usually a bunch of younger employees standing around watching their older "supervisor" or whoever lie to customers so they don't have to make frozen drinks... idk what else they need to save time for. There wasn't even anyone else in line. I'll definitely be sticking to Starbucks. They're all basically the same price now a days anyway. Also peep the hashbrowns we received. Apparently these are acceptable. read more

I haven't been coming to this Dunkin, because I have had so many bad experiences...but just recently I started going back BECAUSE I got great service. There is a man on the headset in the mornings that is absolutely fabulous. He repeats my order he is upbeat, and acts like he enjoys his job. Give that man a raise! Because really he is bringing in the people! My order is always right...and because of him I have started to go back. This morning my donuts and coffee were fresh and they were fast! I gave this DD three stars because they were out of the doughnuts we really wanted which are the Boston creme with chocolate icing. So the points off are for the disappointment of my children. The drive thru experience was pleasant. The man serving us was very pleasant and apologized for the disappointment. He went through everything doughnut he had in attempts to accommodate us and redeem the order. He saved this review! He was wonderful. Liquid cane sugar? We'll give you granulated and we won't mix it. Whole milk? Maybe an ounce. Vanilla? No. Espresso? Water shot. The whole drink tasted like literal water and half of it didn't have what it was supposed to. The people that were working there were chitchatting before they finally gave me my order. For the last six months I have been going to this Dunkin location and whenever I get a sandwich it's always cold. Out of the 40+ sandwiches of various combinations it's never once warmed. I think one time it was just defrosted. But if I go to any other location it's so hot I can barely eat it. What's up with this particular location? This is the BEST dunkin in this area! I moved to this area a few months ago and was looking for a Dunkin' to go to. I have been avoiding this location due to the reviews. They scared me away a bit, but I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did!! The Manager, James, is extremely friendly and kind. The order taker I have had the last few times, Markus I believe, has always had a great attitude, been super friendly, and really made every visit personal and outstanding!! I use this location sometimes out of sheer convenience. And I regret it every time. The order is never correct. The last two times I've ordered a bagel with cream cheese there hasn't been enough cream cheese. This time I figured I'd just ask for extra to be on the safe side. I will 9 times out of 10 choose Dunkin' Donuts over Starbucks so I was very excited to see this one open up, but unfortunately I have been here 3 times now and every time the coffee has been burned, (tasted horrible), my order was also messed up twice now. I've ordered a sausage,egg and cheese as well as a ham,egg and cheese both on English muffins and one came on a croissant and both were ice cold and halfway off the bread. I even tried a cappuccino since the coffee tasted so burned the first two times I went and even that was filled halfway in the cup and tasted completely burned as well. I honestly wish I could give this DD less than a one star. If I could I'd give them only a .3 star rating only because the woman working in the blue shirt had a good attitude. This morning I woke up cravings Bacon-egg-cheese on an everything bagel with cream cheese, and an iced hazelnut coffee (no cream no sugar). I ordered food for my boyfriend as well (sausage egg and cheese croissant with a black coffee). I go through the drive through, have great customer service, get my food, get home to get out the car and go to pick up the coffees and one of the lids slids off and spills all over my leg and cars- guess which one? The hot one! I let it go because there's more than half of coffee left in there so it's whatever. I get up three flights of steps to my place and open my food just to see they got the bagel order all the way wrong. They gave me a Sausage and cheese (no egg .. no cream cheese) sandwich on an everything bagel. I go back. They offer to correct it and they have me pull forward. They come out 15 minutes later and tell me they are out of plain bagels- I DON'T HAVE AN ORDER WITH A PLAIN BAGEL. I tell the woman that politely- your staff is great here by the way. It gets really confusing and awkward. So, then she offers to refund me my money while I wait and takes the first bag of food with her. Which is awesome- but then a new lady comes out with my refund and tells me to have a nice day. No one comes after that. They don't correct my order, they don't even let me keep the messed up order. I don't know what even happened at this point. I'm so confused. They messed up my order, took the food they messed up back, gave me back my money, and didn't remake my order. I still wanted my bacon-egg-and cheese on an everything bagel with cream cheese... and for some reason I'm crying. Did I just get rejected by DD for asking for too much??? All I know is that I legit had an emotional break down. I cried real tears because I got up excited that there's a DD Less than 2 minutes away from my apartments now and I get to get my favorite breakfast. The first time I ever tried dunkin, I came to this location. I ordered my drink and the girl asked if I wanted to try a sandwich, so I did. She rudely then said well next time order your food first. I said excuse me? this is my first time... Besides one girl who works in the morning who's always quick and friendly, this location is a joke. This morning was it. They never have any product, the staff screams at each other inside the store and over the headset. The assistant manager Tony is a piece of work, the man interrupted me repeatedly by telling me to be quiet and would not let me use the promotion that all dunk'n donuts was offering. And instead of making the customer happy he informed me he was choosing not to accept it even though it's clearly on their app. You do not need a coupon you can clearly see at the bottom. I am a huge Dunkin' fan but am incredibly disappointed with this location. I have been 8-9 times now and at this point can't recall a single positive experience. On four separate occasions my coffee order (ordered with just cream and sugar) was messed up. Donuts have been stale every single time, they have been out of basic items routinely and overall the staff just doesn't seem to care. I don't know how they have managed to make donuts taste disappointing but they have. I went this morning to pick up donuts to surprise my kids when they woke up. I bought munchkins and 3 specialty donuts. With one kid in tow I gave a munchkin to my two yr old in the back seat and I tried one. And they were gross. I turned around and asked for a refund and they gladly obliged, no problem. I continued home with my 3 donuts. When i pulled in my 2 yr old handed me the rest of his munchkin, not even a 2 yr old would eat it. At the house i took a bite of his donut because he was unimpressed that his mom would buy him a donut that looked like a spider. I tried to show him "look its yummy!" .... it was not yummy at all.
