The atmosphere was nice: clean restaurant, appropriate wall decorations, booths and tables in good repair. Service was quick and accurate. Both gals serving were hospitable and always quick to top off coffee or water / drinks. Prices are reasonable; however, like many places today, their suggested tip starts at 20% and is on the total bill, including tax. Gratuity is supposed to max at 15% and on the subtotal before tax. I'm good with tipping extra here as the service earns it, but I didn't care for how the bill showed up. Food, service and atmosphere for a small diner is 5-star; coffee is 3 which is roughly 4.5 so Ferttita's is rounded up to a 5-star. Especially for the happiness and service of the staff. Here, it feels like everything was just tossed into a blender and watered down, which defeats the whole purpose of paying for "fresh" juice. Staff is friendly and efficient. I went with the Carolina Burger and the onion rings, both of which were excellent. I grabbed a box of their Lemon & Coconut cookies and they were legit. I had several people try the barbecue that I bought and each one said that it was nothing special and they would never pay $38 for a quart.
