I was in the area for a meeting and decided to go a little off the beaten path to try this spot…read more I'm really glad I did. The term "hidden gem" can be thrown around often, but this place is truly hidden and really a gem. Tucked inside the Carolina Core Center, you'd never know it was there even if you drive right past the building. It only makes the discovery that much better. Everything was exceptional. The woman behind the counter was warm, funny, and one of those people who instantly lifts your mood. I ordered the Shaken Hazelbee (espresso, honey, hazelnut, oat milk), and it was perfect. It was actually stirred not shaken, and I wish I caught the barista's name because she was classic. As a James Bond fan, I couldn't stop laughing when she said, "As 007 would say, this is shaken not stirred. So this being stirred not shaken, he must go as 700." That absolutely made my day. Coffee was spot on, service was incredible, but the real standout is the space itself. This is easily one of the most relaxing and serene spots anywhere in the Triad. It's huge, with multiple rooms for working, unwinding, or hanging out with friends. Comfortable couches everywhere, quiet corners for privacy, soothing music, and a large covered and cozy patio. The lake and waterfall right next to it take the ambiance to another level. If you want a peaceful, beautiful spot far from the hustle and bustle of chain coffee shops, come here. You will truly enjoy it.

I saw it called a hidden gem in high point. I would agree to a certain extent. The coffee shop was very nice and had a comfy vibe with nice furniture and a lovely interior. There was also a great place to sit outside. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake frappe. It was very delicious! The only con was it cost over eight dollars for a 16 oz. Personally I felt it was overpriced for the size and location. We are in High Point not Disney World. But overall it was a great place with delicious coffee. Come try this "hidden gem" and see for yourself!

He was very friendly and very personable. You can tell he absolutely loves his city and coffee. He was just phenomenal. Several regulars stopped in and he knew them by name. They were equally as excited and praised his coffee. They had me super excited and glad that I stopped by. He does not sell prepared coffee drinks in the shop, but did recommend local bakeries and cafes that did. BTW, Dots & Pearls was one he recommended and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! He sales coffee beans. This is a roastery, so you're getting fresh roasted beans from some of the most notable coffee regions in the country. It is awesome. I purchased a bag of Sumatra dark roast and a big bottle of chai concentrate. My partner said the chai is delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stop by and chat it up with the owner and of course purchase some high quality coffee. I definitely cannot wait to come back to High Point. Oh yeah, you can purchase the coffee online!!

I've since moved to Greensboro, so it's been a while, but as soon as I walked through the door and caught a whiff of coffee and their delicious baked goods, I was reminded why this was my favorite coffee shop in HP. Debeen Espresso is a charming, female-owned local gem that combines the art of great coffee with delicious, in-house gluten free and vegan baked goods. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere and warm smiles from the baristas set the tone for a great experience. I had the pleasure of trying their banana walnut muffin, and let me just say--it was the moistest muffin I've ever tasted. The balance of banana, walnut, and spice was perfect, and it paired wonderfully with my almond milk latte. There's an array of gluten free and vegan muffin and cookie options as well as additional treats (overnight oats, carrots and hummus, etc) in the fridge. It's clear that Debeen Espresso takes pride in not just the quality of their coffee, but in everything they do. The service was fast and friendly and the shop itself is cozy, with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. We opted to sit on the outdoor patio, where additional seating provides a chance to enjoy the fresh air while sipping your favorite drink. Adjacent to Debeen is Pure Light Yoga, creating the perfect opportunity to sip, savor, and even savasana--all in one visit. Whether you're there for a quiet moment away or catching up with a friend, Debeen Espresso offers a unique and relaxing space where you can really enjoy your experience. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this cozy spot with its delicious drinks, healthy treats and welcoming vibe.

We were there doing some behind-the-scenes content, and the space was welcoming, calm, and perfect for both conversation and getting things done. Drink-wise, everything was on point. The Honey Ginger Chai was smooth and comforting, especially with almond milk and a nice froth. The blueberry muffin (warmed) was simple but really good--sometimes that's all you need. My cappuccino, the José Conseco, truly lived up to its name: bold, smooth, and flavorful without needing any added sugar. That alone says a lot about the quality of their coffee. What stood out most is that Chi Rho really proves you don't need a lot of sugar or extra additives to make a great cup of coffee. The flavors speak for themselves. Whether you're stopping in for a family coffee run, a casual meeting, or just want a quality cup in a relaxed environment, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. We'll absolutely be back.

I'm not sure if they do consignment style shops within the gift shop, or if it's all under the same business, but it's arranged in a bunch of mini sections that all kind of have a different aesthetic. It was a bit maze-like, but I have no doubt they sell something in here for everyone. Like the gift shop, the bakery had huge variety. Who knew there were so many types of cake? I ended up getting a carrot cake latte and a heart shaped macaron. It was only after I had ordered my latte with oat milk, checked out (including paying the up-charge for oat milk), and waited several minutes that they told me they were out of oat milk. This was disappointing, as I paid my extra for the oat milk, yes, but also because I don't really want a latte in general without it. Regardless, it was too late, so I just told them to do it with 2%. The latte was okay but I didn't love it. It mostly tasted sweet and like cinnamon. Which I guess is more or less what carrot cake tastes like? The menu said it came with a cream cheese cold foam or whipped cream (I don't remember which) but it came out with plain whipped cream. The espresso was a little bitter - maybe burnt or shocked. The macaron was gorgeous, but didn't have a macaron taste or texture. It was hard like cookie. A macaron should be light and airy, and the shell should almost collapse under a bite. I had to chomp through this one. I am not sure if it was stale, a bad batch, or if their "macarons" are just "macaron shaped cookies" by design.
