I was in the area for a meeting and decided to go a little off the beaten path to try this spot. I'm really glad I did. The term "hidden gem" can be thrown around often, but this place is truly hidden and really a gem. Tucked inside the Carolina Core Center, you'd never know it was there even if you drive right past the building. It only makes the discovery that much better. Everything was exceptional. The woman behind the counter was warm, funny, and one of those people who instantly lifts your mood. I ordered the Shaken Hazelbee (espresso, honey, hazelnut, oat milk), and it was perfect. It was actually stirred not shaken, and I wish I caught the barista's name because she was classic. As a James Bond fan, I couldn't stop laughing when she said, "As 007 would say, this is shaken not stirred. So this being stirred not shaken, he must go as 700." That absolutely made my day. Coffee was spot on, service was incredible, but the real standout is the space itself. This is easily one of the most relaxing and serene spots anywhere in the Triad. It's huge, with multiple rooms for working, unwinding, or hanging out with friends. Comfortable couches everywhere, quiet corners for privacy, soothing music, and a large covered and cozy patio. The lake and waterfall right next to it take the ambiance to another level. If you want a peaceful, beautiful spot far from the hustle and bustle of chain coffee shops, come here. I have been looking to try new local coffee places and found this one. It is located inside Core Wellness which made it a tad bit hard to find. I saw it called a hidden gem in high point. I would agree to a certain extent. The coffee shop was very nice and had a comfy vibe with nice furniture and a lovely interior. There was also a great place to sit outside. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake frappe. It was very delicious! The only con was it cost over eight dollars for a 16 oz. Personally I felt it was overpriced for the size and location. We are in High Point not Disney World. But overall it was a great place with delicious coffee. Come try this "hidden gem" and see for yourself! read more

This is such a hidden place. You definitely do not find it driving by, but when you do find it, it is like a hidden pocket of serenity. It is located just off the main road next to a small pond, low traffic, but it gives off a nice piece of quiet nature. The shop has plenty of seating that makes it great for a catch up or study place. The coffee is surprisingly good and they offer some quick snacks and pre-packed baked goods as well. Connected to the building it also provides more serene pockets for quiet study or to do other things that is offered in the building. I love this shop so much- it's clearly a very health conscious shop, stocking supplements and health foods as well as healthy snacks in the fridge, like yogurt. My coffee was really good and the barista was so kind to let me taste it and have her adjust the flavor. Such great service. The watermelon drink was super good too!! This place is a dream!!! It's like a cafe, college study space, business coworking space, and business building all wrapped into one. You can get yourself a tasty boutique cafe-style drink and treat, sit and work all day on a comfy chair or couch with reliable internet, or schedule a wellness visit with one of the building's many wellness businesses. It's a place that has it all for someone looking to be productive and a peaceful setting. The cafe staff is really the only staff member(s) you will encounter if you just come to work and grab a drink/snack. I will say they make a really great drink and snack, but not really the type to make you feel warm and welcome if you catch my drift. They are more like British baristas if you've ever had that kind of cafe experience. No complaints here, just not a noticeably friendly lot. Found this cafe while running errands in High Point. I was thinking the GPS had led me wrong, because it doesn't look like there should be a cafe here! This is a great coffee shop tucked away in a commercial area, on the first floor of a business building. Everyone is very kind and the coffee has great rich flavor. I had my Americana with sugar free caramel and cream. Very strong which I love. All of the pastries were gluten free, of which I chose the double chocolate. Nice! This shop is located on the side of the building attached to what looks like some type of healthcare center off of Eastchester, past the Kickback Jacks. This shop is so cute. There were three lovely baristas there to serve you and quickly take your order. There are plenty of coffee, smoothie and snack options available and plenty of options of seating. This is also a perfect place for conducting some work off the beaten path. There is also this board that changes every couple minutes with interesting quote and if you see the sign randomly say do jumping Jacks you can get free drink coupons Loved it! (4.5 stars) Housed in Carolina Core Wellness on an offshoot of Penny Road, Core Coffee is considerably off the beaten path. Location aside, however, there is a lot to like here. The coffee shop is spacious and bright with comfortable-looking chairs and tasteful artwork. The baristas are kind, and, thankfully, patient. Core's fairly extensive repertoire of teas, coffees (they use Fortuna beans), and smoothies includes everything from nitro to a dozen seasonal drinks, which can make for a tough decision. I opted for a Moravian Cookie Latte and picked up a lavender soy latte for my wife. The former included welcome spice notes that did not overpower, and my wife reported that the latter passed her "not too sweet" test. Prices here are reasonable (a 24-ounce latte ran $6), and they also offer Happy Hour discounts from 2 to 4 p.m. While there may be more readily accessible java options elsewhere in town, if you're in the Palladium area and want a break from chain coffee, give Core a try. read more

This place is marketed as "High Point's Best Kept Coffee Secret" and I have to admit that it definitely is true! I wasn't sure what to expect with this place but I was pleasantly surprised. First, the interior design of the place is simple, light, quiet, and cozy-- making it the perfect place to work or study. Second, the coffee and local treats are delicious! The Americano I ordered is one of the best I've had! The pumpkin spice chai had the perfect amount of pumpkin spice versus chai flavor, and I've been dreaming of it ever since. The staff was also very friendly and helpful which made for an even better experience. You can even order a multitude of ways-- mobile for pickup via Odeko, delivery via DoorDash, or in-person at the counter. This place is one of the multiple new businesses tucked away in the new Carolina Core Wellness, which is shaping up to be a very unique and functional facility.
