The cakes looked SO moist and delicious! There were so many tantalizing flavor combos, but what stopped me in my tracks were the New York Rolls. Think giant crispy stuffed croissants! I ordered the Pistachio Cream one and no lie, it was 6 inches across and 2.5-3 inches tall. They asked if I wanted it heated (umm yes) and it was AHMAZING.i also ordered the fig and honey latte while my husband ordered the Turkish coffee. So good and unique! In fact, our visit was so good that 8 days later I chose Fig and Olive Cafe as a hang out spot for friends and I to gather for brunch. We all got the other three flavors of the New York Roll (Chocolate Hazelnut, Fig and Honey, and Biscoff Cookie) and shared them. I got the Pistachio Crème iced coffee and it was also excellent! 10/10 recommend these pastries! No frills and thrills, just some tables, chairs and a couple couches. Fine by me! The coffee speaks for itself. I opted for a hot pistachio cream latte. It was well balanced, not too sweet at all. I enjoyed the bites of pistachio topping. I did not try a pastry today but they all looked delicious. There was only one barista at 830am so it took a while to get my coffee. If you're in a rush this might not be a place you'd want to stop by on the way to work. But if you have time, it's worth the wait. I gave it 4 stars because the floor was very sticky when I visited. Not sure if someone spilled something or if it wasn't cleaned, but a couple of other patrons noticed the stickiness also.

The matcha I had from there wasn't particularly my favorite but they used to keep their espresso machine up at night during the performance, I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly if they sold liquor or alcohol but the drink that I did have from there the first time I went was pretty good. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.

The kindness and the skill that the employees here brought to their jobs is worth both notice and appreciation. The quality of the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is like a family reunion. Walking in from outside almost had a calming effect. Kudos to whoever was in charge of the ambiance. I kept it simple and got an iced Oatmilk latte with honey and vanilla. But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.
