Vignette is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8am-1pm. Really small place , maybe 4 tables. Arrived about 11:20 and left 15 minutes later with no coffee. There were 7 people in line, and they are incredibly slow. They completed 1 order of 2 beverages while I stood in line. I'm sure it's good coffee but I don't feel the need to wait a half hour or more for coffee.
I might be late to the party but I'm glad I showed up! How did I not know this place existed ?! Everything about my experience today showed that the owners are focused on quality. Quality coffee, quality service and quality interactions. This is not a place to visit if you're in a hurry but that's good on so many levels. The baristas and owners take their time with each customer to make sure the drinks are perfect. I was provided a description of different types of roast and didn't feel rushed while I chose from a selection of seasonal offerings. I opted for the Caramel Miso latte with macadamia nut milk (no extra charge for the milk). Such a delicious balance of slight sweetness with the savory miso and nutty milk. It was perfect. I also got a bag of beans and they ground them up right there. They have a selection of pastries that I didn't try but definitely will next time. What really stood out to me was that even though a line formed out the door, no one seemed to mind waiting and no one was annoyed when the owner stopped taking orders to come and make sure my drink and others were satisfactory. Again, a quality experience. The cafe is only open three days a week which is probably a blessing because I'd spend all my money in there every day.
This place is cute and hidden gem! I got the nutty cloud peanut butter chocolate! There was a line to get in as it opens at 9. It's small but homey and the workers were so nice explaining the different drink options.
I stopped by Vignette Coffee around 9:30am on a Thursday and had about a 15-minute wait just to place and purchase my order. The café is definitely cozy and cute, only three tables and a couch so it feels very busy during peak times. The cafe is only open Thursday-Saturday, which makes it tough to visit, but the quality makes it worth planning for. A lot of my friends who love coffee rave about the place. One of the things I really love is that they roast their coffee right there, so you're getting a super fresh, close-to-table experience and they know the story of the bean and their origins. The staff was polite and helpful when I was ordering. I got the seasonal gingerbread latte, which the staff was raving about and featured very fresh ingredients (ginger and two other ingredients that were made with love) and I chose milk from Homeland Creamery. I also grabbed a seasonal fruit tart that was from Camino Bakery in Winston-Salem, which was a perfect treat. I like that it is a local bakery too. They also allow you to bring your own cup, which I plan to do next time. I purchased a bag of coffee to make at home and was happy to get a discount, such a nice perk! I'll definitely be back. Just wishing they were open more days, because the coffee is worth the wait.
We come to buy thier coffee bean that are roasted in house but always get a latte or something. Staff is so amazing and knows a TON about coffee. My only complaint is it is small and very busy. I get it though she focuses on the roasting. The shop is cute and cozy though and if you can get a seat!! Yay!!

The customer service was outstanding!watching the two baristas work together was like seeing a well-oiled machine in action, delivering some of the best coffee you'll ever have. Despite the long line, seating was still available, and the shop itself was adorable and welcoming. I ordered a seasonal drink, the Iced Nutty Cloud. You can get it iced or hot, with four different variations. I chose the salted version, but they also offered PB&J, chocolate, and more. The peanut butter cold foam was absolutely unmatched--I could eat it by itself! This place is totally worth the wait, and I will 100% be back for a pour over or a shakerado.
I think I fell in love with a cup of coffee today! I stopped by here as it was the closest local coffee shop to my location. The line was out the door. I stood in line for about 25 minutes and got my coffee about 5 minutes after I ordered. It was worth every minute! Non-dairy milk is free of charge. I opted for macadamia milk. I decided on a mocha, and it was the best chocolate flavor I can remember tasting. It's 75% cocoa and blended well with the espresso and macadamia milk. This place is small inside, but they sell not just prepared coffee. They sell coffee beans, prepared tea, tea leaves, pastries from Camino bakery in WS, coffee mugs, apparel and more! This shop is only open 3 days a week, but based on this experience, worth it! I will definitely be returning!
The coffee beans are WORLD class! I'm a long time decaffeinated coffee drinker. I've tried many many many coffee beans. There has never been a bean that can compare. You can taste the love, quality and dedication that has gone into the roast. From the moment you walk in you feel like you're home they take the upmost care of you when it's your turn to order. They look you in the eyes and fill you with all of the information you might have a question for. They make every drink to order their baked goods come from a local baker. Their merchandise is size inclusive. It's a comfy quaint ambiance with cool things to look at! I order my coffee beans in 2lbs and sometimes the 5lbs. Their prices are fabulous for what you get! I also love all of their local partnerships!
Best vanilla latte I have ever tried. I asked the owner for a recommendation and cautiously accepted his suggestion to try the vanilla latte. WOW! The way he explained the beans that were being used and the vanilla they use-- it was like I was drinking art! This was my 3rd visit to Vignette, and every time it exceeds my expectations!
Really good coffee here. I'm a coffee snob and they meet my standards. They are super friendly, patient and helpful. Exactly opposite of coffee houses in LA where I'm from where the price you pay is pretentiousness They know how to draw their shots and they use good beans. Even they tell you what bean they are using that day for espresso which nobody does. Not really a food or breakfast place but pretty savory n sweet pastries.
Vignette Coffee was such a cute local coffee shop. This coffee shop is delivering some handmade and fresh coffee offerings. They have limited business hours, only being opened Tuesday-Thursday, so the coffee shop was extremely busy. Inside, there is limited seating space. This business is owned by a couple and you can tell they are crafting items from the heart. With that being said, pack your patience, as there maybe a little wait to order and receive your items. I ordered a caramel mocha and it was good. It had homemade chocolate and caramel syrup. The coffee was bold and flavorful. I enjoyed being able to support them and if you're in the area, be sure to check them out!
The drinks here, magical! They'll make you wanna slap your momma. We got a summer chai dirty soda and a vanilla shakerado, 10/10 would recommend
If you have not tried Vignette I have to urge you to check it out! It is only open limited hours three days a week so the couple that owns it can spend the rest of their time roasting some of the best coffee beans in our region. In fact Northern Roots in downtown Greensboro features Vignette Coffee. Each coffee is made to order and warmly presented. I love their lattes! As I have mentioned in the past do not come to Vignette for a fast cup of coffee. They engage each person who comes in and then focus on each beverage they create. Vignette is worth your support as they serve tasty beverages full of depth and unique flavors. Soooo good!

Amazing coffee. Yummy chocolate croissant. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Was surprising a friend with coffee and the barista helped me decide what to get her based off of her normal Starbucks order. No up-charge for oat milk! visited for the first time today. huge line but didn't wait too long. absolutely worth the wait-- shakerato was probably the most delicious coffee beverage i've ever had in my life. i'm no coffee connoisseur but i get coffee out a lot. got mine with oat milk, and it was very inexpensive with no upcharge for alt milk. also had a vegan muffin for sale which is always a bonus! and just so cute inside. 10/10 can't wait to get another shakerato read more
A roastery as well as a coffeeshop, Vignette supplies several area shops. Having enjoyed their beans elsewhere, I finally decided to visit the mothership. It's a smallish space, but it's well-appointed with coffee factoid posters. The baristas were welcoming and friendly. Eschewing the safety of a vanilla iced latte, I decided to roll the dice with a seasonal drink: a pineapple upside down latte. While the name alone may put some folks off, it was a surprisingly good drink. It was smooth, and the syrups (pineapple and caramel) were subtle and well-balanced. Vignette also sells beans and does coffee education. If you care about what goes in your cup, give them a try. read more

The holy grail of coffee. Rainy Saturday and I was running to the Asian grocery for hot pot stuff and decided to finally stop by the coffee place I pass every time I head out to this particular store. In a very unassuming industrial esk strip mall if you can call it that: when I got in it smelled amazing. The line was long for coffee, but again, raining and no desire to try another place. I waited it out and OH WAS IT WORTH IT. The line moved quickly and even if it didn't, I would have stayed knowing what I know now. A kind and charming young man took my order: I opted for a salted honey latte with macadamia nut milk (usually an almond milk bb) and my first sip...WOW! Salty and sweet but not too sweet and the coffee had an incredibly distinct taste of rich and bold and not bitter. Next time, buying beans for home! read more

My favorite coffee place in Greensboro! Everything on the menu is so good, I've always love to try new things and I know I will always enjoy anything I try here. The days they are closed, no other place compares. Michael and Mandy (co-owners) are super kind and always offer great and in depth explanations about all of their menu as well as where they're ingredients are sourced are from. They're such warm people and I always feel welcome when coming here! read more
Vignette Coffee is an absolute dream. I've been wanting to find a place to get top-notch espresso that doesn't require me going into downtown and having to navigate crowds / limited parking / etc. Located on the west side of Greensboro, the shop is part of what looks like a strip mall. (This was actually a huge green flag for me, as most of my favorite indie coffee shops seem to all be located in spots exactly like this one.) There is plenty of free, easy-to-access parking outside, which is always appreciated. The space inside is intimate: very small, but warm and inviting. It was somewhat crowded with a line when I arrived, but honestly? The communal energy of the space (cultivated by the barista behind the bar and the other customers) made the wait a non-issue for me. When I made my way up to the bar and ordered an oat milk latte, the barista was so kind, and placed a strong focus on gentle, genuine connection with each and every customer he interacted with. It was really lovely. The latte was delicious, and I was able to pair it with vanilla almond biscotti from one of my favorite local bakeries: Camino Bakery over in Winston Salem. To top everything off, they roast their own coffee in-house, and even offer tastings and educational / learning opportunities for the community on a regular basis. There's an assortment of branded merch available, which would make this a wonderful place to bring someone from out of town, or to pick up a Greensboro-esq gift for someone. Get here as early as possible! They have limited hours. Very friendly and inviting place to drop in or stay and enjoy the atmosphere. This was my first time trying oat milk with my iced Americano and I have to say it was great! If you're in the W Market St area, stop by, right across from the Post Office! read more

Truly one of the best coffee experiences of my life! And it really is an experience-- they are so customer service oriented in everything they do. Even if there's a line out the door (which is likely on a Saturday morning) they make each customer feel like they're the only ones there. Good people and even greater coffee. They can take all our money. read more

If I was told I could only go to one coffee shop for the rest of my life, it would be Vignette. The space is small, but very cozy and welcoming. It's the perfect place to post up for an hour or two. The shop is a wholesale specialty coffee roastery, and you can take a glimpse into the room where the magic happens (shiny coffee roasting machinery, oooh!) The staff is always very helpful and kind, and their objective is to make the best drinks possible-even if that means taking a bit of extra time + care. It's totally worth it, and this place is not to be missed! read more

Wow! Where do I even start? This coffee is just simply put AMAZING. The depth of flavor is phenomenal and I love that they automatically do not come super sweet. You can actually taste the different notes in the beans. You can taste the quality. The staff is so sweet and helpful when it comes to answering any questions you have as well! Cute little coffee shop with amazing coffee! I had purchased their beans at Ardmore Coffee and decided to check out the brick and mortar shop. It's a bright welcoming space that's still good for working even with the cozy size. They sell Camino baked goods which is always great and their coffee is the real winner. I got a Costa Rican pour over that was so smooth and tasty! The staff is super helpful and friendly. read more

We finally made it to @vignettecoffeeroasters I've been wanting to come in for a while now. Everything looks so good and I love the clever logos and artwork. It's very cool that they are a coffee roaster for the area with limited hours of service as a cafe and tasting room. Our electricity went out at home after a night of freezing winds so it kick started me into getting up and getting out for some hot liquid gold. I cannot say enough good things about the service. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. Hubs flew in at 1am and was exhausted. They took the time to find a special hot tea for him and simple and substantial breakfast pastry from @caminobakery. I ordered the Maple Ginger Oat Latte and a blueberry cream cheese danish. Everything was so tasty and we sat in the warm cafe for a long while avoiding the freezing winds. We watched the barista kneel and give a pour demonstration to some young children as we sat and sipped. The cafe was warm, casual, family-friendly and bright with a large gender-neutral bathroom. There are not enough stars!! Coffee is roasted in-house by proprietors who clearly know the beans and the biz! Their roast is smooth and flavorful. With revolving drink offerings, including matcha and leaf teas, the menu is far from ho-hum! The owners take time to chat and 'get to know' their customers, so be patient, be kind. If you have to wait, it will be worth it! For local coffee establishments, if you aren't serving Vignette beans you need to! #supportlocal read more
