Such a cute local coffee shop with the coziest atmosphere inside! Tables upstairs if needed to do work and a cozy sitting area downstairs. The space is warm and inviting - it was perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends. I tried the lavender latte and it was absolutely delicious. They were able to make it dairy free for me, which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely be back! read more

This is my least favorite coffee place in King. There is no consistency in the coffee. One day it tastes okay the next time it tastes awful. It either tastes burnt or it's so sweet it hurts your stomach. It's upsetting because it's such a pretty coffee place but they just can't seem to find consistency. read more

Stopped in today for the first time. First impression after walking in, the place is really cute and smells fantastic! They have an open floor plan with a visible, upstairs seating area. They also have some outdoor seating. The girls working were friendly, and one recommended my drink. I enjoyed their Lavender and Honey Latte, iced. Ordered a Strawberry Smoothie for my little one. It was the perfect day to sit outside on their patio. Normally, they have baked goods, but they were sold out when we came by today. Just means we'll have to go back again soon. Definitely stop in and give them a try, if you don't have time to sit and sip, they conveniently have a drive thru window. read more

Wisteria Coffee is a nice little coffee shop in King with reasonably priced and good-quality coffee. I came here on a Sunday morning and enjoyed a cup of pour over coffee with a blueberry muffin from Camino Bakery. The coffee was great, as was the muffin. The service was nice, and they explained the different coffee bean options I had for the pour over, which I appreciated. The space is small, but there is an upstairs area that was a little quieter and had a decent amount of tables given the space limitations. The added perk for us was that they have free EV charging in their parking lot. read more

Easily one of the best cups of coffee I've had in my life. If I lived in this town I'd get coffee here everyday. Service was quick and friendly. Was a little disappointed by the lack of pastries available, but it doesn't matter because the coffee was fantastic. * hot hazelnut mocha * iced caramel latte read more

Isn't that the cutest cup of coffee I've ever seen? This place is a treasure here in King. Absolutely adorable inside and relaxing. They have a specialty menu with options like rosemary latte and such. I got the honey cardamom hot 16 oz latte and it taste just perfect with the cutest heart foam I've seen in a long while. Staff is friendly and they have an upstairs area to enjoy your coffee in a more private setting. It also has a drive thru. Now you might miss it when driving by..it's on the side of a building and next to chick fil le. Search for it ! It's so worth it. read more

I'm not sure why the vibes in the place are always off. Customer service usually rude and non helpful. Coffee is mid. Shop is run by trust fund babies...so that might explain the customer service. read more

I was anxious to try this little hidden coffee shop. Unfortunately, both the coffee and workers, specifically the manager, disappointed. The only male I noticed has no people skills and has a condescending attitude that is very off putting in what should be a pleasant experience. Not a word of welcome or a thank you for visiting. Total dud. I won't be returning. read more

What a great modern hole in the wall! Plenty of wall plugs for your meetings and devices, pastries are delivered 2x per week currently Wednesday and Saturday so we missed out AND dont speed!! This place is a hidden gem and they really need a street sign! That being said, I stopped in for a quick mocha. The coffee was good, pretty subtle for a mocha, which is a nice touch. The shop itself has a coffee bean roaster in the corner that appears to not be in use. Perhaps they are working on a future project. It's a cozy place that is right off the highway (52) in King. read more

INTRO: Wisteria Coffee is a nice café up near mountains in King, NC. They have wonderful décor and exemplary flavors that will make your experience worthwhile. Coffee (6.5$): Butter fly Matcha Latte: They serve Organic Blue matcha latte. It is made up of Butterfly Pea powder kind of sweet bland in taste. Most unique thing about it is that is blue. You can ask them about the powder and it can be used in lattes or creative powder for exciting new and healthy look. Menu prices are decent not to expensive Parking/ Location : This will be located on side of highway/main road, on back side of Stokes pharmacy. Be careful you might miss it, that is bad marketing. There is plenty of parking space around it. Ambience and Service: The place is clean, good for studies and organized and has good interior décor. Customer service is good read more

Best place for coffee anywhere around. You will not be disappointed. I believe that it is the best coffee without a doubt.

Best coffee in town! The chai latte is also pretty amazing too. Drive through staff are always very friendly.

This coffee shop is hidden behind the Stokes pharmacy, on Main St. The coffee is cheaper than Starbucks but is better tasting! The prices are cheaper than a Starbucks coffee. The service is excellent for politeness. Do give yourself a few minutes because it is a small business, with a small amount of employees. We went through the drive thru, therefore, I am not sure how the restaurant is inside. I am giving this store five stars because I really have no complaints. I am hopeful for the owners to be able to grow. I think once they get a sign by the road, this place is going to boom! read more

This is the best coffee EVER!! I had the opportunity to try it as part of a fundraiser for a friend's school and I have fallen in love with it. It is the cleanest and best tasting coffee I've ever had. When I clean out my coffee pot after brewing this coffee, there is no yucky residue stain left behind in the pot, I can rinse it clean with water only! Please support this local business and give them a try, you won't be sorry. read more

Awful! Ordered a chai tea with oat milk. Really think it was cows milk as my stomach immediately balled up and have been in discomfort since I starting sipping. Aside from that it was a very watered down tasting chai with a weird taste that I can't put my finger on. No receipt given or offered. Had to throw this try out. read more

I love this small town coffee shop! Everything I've tried (lattes, blended coffee, mochas, regular drip coffee) has been excellent. I'm always surprised by the level of service here. The employees are great and make you happy you chose to come here. You can order online and have your order ready when you arrive. My only feedback would be that they provide a larger size (20oz is the largest). Sometimes, I just need more! Enjoy! read more

Ordered a maple pumpkin latte and a cortado. Service was good, coffee was the opposite. The maple pumpkin latte was unsweet, chunky with purée of pumpkin I suppose and some spices floating around. It was so horrible I ended up throwing it away and going to Sheetz up the road. The cortado was decent, drinkable but I wouldn't order again. read more

Now known as Wisteria Coffee, this contemporary coffee shop adjusted its theme and is designed inside of a old mechanic building. It gives it a rustic feel with a great place to read a book or study 1. Drip, pour over, and cold brew are from Pure Intentions coffee roasters out of Charlotte. Est 2011. The espresso is in house and varies. They do not have single origin options, but the option I had today wasn't to bad. 2. They do not make their own syrups, which usually steers me away from a specialty coffee shop. However, they did have a good quality brand for syrups, of which I chose the lavender. 3. Good muffins, jus sayin. Overall not a bad little place in King. There's nothing special, or an item that hooked me. Didn't wow me today, probably won't be back. read more

‍. Lovely atmosphere, my barista Jenna was very friendly, but not too friendly. The Oreo balls are average at best but, the Frosted Mint Mocha with breve and extra espresso is fantastical. If possible ask for a barista that isn't a musician but that is personal preference. The extra parking lot is very nice and spacious. Also, Spark Fitness and Performance down the road is great gym with good trainers and isn't the least bit intimidating. In the store are beautiful signs up for auction, and I suggest purchasing one from Signs and Signatures. I hope his helped and God bless America. read more

Terrible customer service, but a nice place to hang out. My girlfriend and I ordered their nitro cold brew, and they told us to go over to their kegerator and fill it up ourselves. They weren't sure which lever was for the nitro and which was for the cold brew, but instead of walking over to it and moving their body they just stood there and watched as I pulled the nitro lever and it sprayed all over the place because it was already tapped. They had a only been open a couple hours so they clearly did not check it that day or clean it. Instead of apologizing they just told me to fill it up with the regular iced coffee with the other lever. I'm sure it was leftover from the day before and it tasted as much. I was looking forward to that nitro cold brew. TLDR: I spent eight dollars on yesterday's iced coffee and zero customer service. read more

Great coffee, clean, & friendly staff. Plus a drive through & outdoor seating. Great stop on my road trip!

Good coffee and chi either hot or cold. Durring the Summer the butterfly lemonade is good as well.

I like Wisteria. New drive up window is great. Used to take so long to make coffee but now they are faster. I like when they have the doughnut truck too. New staff or different staff is friendlier too. read more

Great find (especially in King, NC). Coffee beans are from Pure Intentions Coffee in Charlotte, NC. There is a newly delivered roaster sitting in a space adjacent to the coffee bar, and the barista tells us they'll be roasting their own coffee soon. Jenna, our barista, crafted a great 8oz. coffee drink (though we debated what you should call it). Ultimately it was exactly what I'd hoped for, regardless of what you call it. The space is perfectly designed, ... comfortable, plenty of seating, WiFi, everything you'd expect. I have stopped in before, and will continue to stop in whenever I'm around. I look forward to seeing this place evolve as they get their roaster online. read more

I have been a regular at Espresso Mechanics since they opened. I appreciate the quality of the coffee. Whether you get a pour over or a drip coffee, you will not get the over roasted flavor of Starbucks. The employees are very knowledgable and have done a great job introducing specialty coffee to King. You can also get great baked items, cold brew, and other drinks. I HIGHLY recommend Espresso Mechanics! read more

Best coffee and espresso you can find anywhere. I'm so pleased to have this place here in our small town.

So, my father-in-law visiting from Charlotte treated me and my sons to a stop at the new coffee shop in King. Espresso drink culture hasn't caught on in King despite some noble efforts through the years. The main reason always comes down to would-be entrepreneurs failing to understand what it takes to make quality espresso. You can't grind month old beans a couple days in advance and pull those shots an hour in advance for good drinks. Espresso Mechanics Is a nicely-styled remodel in the old Merritt plumbing building and immediately I questioned if I entered a portal to a different city. It's in the same building as a hair salon and yoga studio. I try the espresso by itself in any new place and here it did not disappoint, no ashy, sour or funkiness detected but rather a nice citrusy, toasty initial flavor and a long satisfying finish. Conversing with the barista I found him to have good understanding of the details of roasting, bean origin, espresso preparation, etc. I was happy to hear of ambitious expansion plans including craft beer in the future. Prices were reasonable, if you've never had a pourover coffee now is your chance with good choices for origin and roast profile. I urge you to support this place, I'd like to see the expansion happen. read more

Stopped by here for the first time on a Saturday morning . We found that there's plenty of room to sit and chat and great service at the espresso bar I also noticed that there's a yoga room off of the café area and a couple of tables outside which would be quite pleasant for early morning cuppa Joe before the sun moves over the building. All-around a pleasant place with a warm inviting aesthetic. read more
