I was planning a networking coffee date and wanted to try somewhere I hadn't been. So, naturally, I came to trusty Yelp to search for options and found Savage Roasters. A few things appealed to me - the parking lot is larger - there is comfortable seating inside WITH plugins - the inside was spacious - solid reviews I knew we had to meet here - I am so glad we did. I ordered the seasonal drink (LOVE FALL DRINKS) Pumpkin King with oat milk. It could only be cold, but it was so good! I'm an absolute fan of all things fall (cliché, but I don't care haha). The staff was friendly and welcoming and the barista that helped me was lovely. It's so refreshing going into a non-chain coffee shop and not getting the dead-pan stare from the barista behind the counter, but actually having a kind and positive experience. We sat and talked for about 2 hours and the staff were consistently nice with all customers that came in. The place has a peaceful and cozy vibe. Great spot! I will absolutely be going back!

Been Here many times and always had good coffee. No wait at all. Many seating areas available and had a few baked goods. In the heart of downtown Kernersville beside many other places. Parking available in the front.

Wow. I just got a cherry mocha and it did not disappoint! The coffee is fresh and delicious, and the flavoring was perfect: not too sweet. It was a balanced coffee. The staff are very friendly, and the owners are awesome. They are long standing community members, and started Savage Roasters coffee about 4 years ago. The owners give back to the community and want to see our town be successful. The vibe of this place is perfect with the brick walls, industrial pipes, and Edison bulbs. It creates an inviting, low stress, chill atmosphere.

Stopped in for quick drinks today and definitely not disappointed! The menu was extensive and the coffee was flavorful. They were actively collecting money for charity. Parking was easy, the employees nice, and ample space inside. Definitely a solid coffee stop!

What a great coffee shop! I need to get out in KVegas a bit more than I do, and this coffee shop shows it. Next to a country market, you can get some fantastic roasted beans or a great drink and the service is excellent. We both got taken care of right away, had excellent flat whites, and the space itself is roomy with lots of seating. Definitely will be back to work one day!

Meant to write this review sometime back. But anytime that come for appointments in downtown Kernersville I make a point of getting a coffee from SAVAGE ROASTERS. Especially after meeting the owner a time or two ago. A veteran with good business sense and a good heart. Believe we were in the same type of specialties during our time in service but I may be crossing interactions with other veterans. Besides providing solid tasting roasts in an inviting space this Veteran has maintained military conditioning a bit better than I. An inspiration to improve. He helps organize meaningful give back to whatever community runs and I believe he actually runs in and outside of those events. Good energy and training. Staff is so pleasant with nice smiles. And I love the messaging on the wall "... WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER". I believe the owner truly believes and even lives this. And nice covered front porch for nice weather days and a parking lot out front. Parking not impossible on the streets either, of this post card cute small town America downtown (Kernersville) in this growing metropolitan region. Feels like an escape to simpler times. And helps that I get my hair cut across the street at AISLING INSTITUTE (Cosmetics school thus win-win and another Veteran owned and supporting business) first before the coffee. All in all nice renewing experiences, great combination. But bit bummed that one of my favorite sandwich shops, across the street is now closed "DAMN YANKEES". Wish them well in their next endeavors.

I was recommended to try this place. I didn't even know it was here. Great coffee shop and roaster! Very clean and intimate setting to relax with a cup of coffee (or tea). Give it a try if you're looking to unwind!

Great Coffee, Great Danish, Family Owned & Veteran Owned business. What more could you want? Spacious coffee shop with plenty of space to have your morning coffee, comfy couches, chairs or booths to do your work remotely and outdoor high tops available also. Service with a smile and I happened to be present for the grand opening. You can definitely see the love and time they have put i to the business. Stop by for your next caffeine fix.

For real, if you can't give an organization that only exists to help helpless animals, then you are a garbage human being. First off, cats! I mean, who doesn't love natures best killing machine. It's like evolution took all the great qualities of a killer, a predator, gave it amazing agility and balance, stealth, knives for fingers and then said, lets make you tiny and cute so humans can pick you up and snuggle a death machine. This place is super small and their parking lot holds like 5 cars. If it's full just park across the street at the recreation center and walk the nice path over to the cat cafe. Be sure to pray before you cross 401 because you'll need the extra help with all of these imported Yankee drivers. Inside most of the space is dedicated to cats, big surprise right??? There is a small bar with a counter to make your order. Maybe 2 tables and then a bench with a glowing neon sign meant for taking photos for the gram. There are a few small tables outside and around to the front of the building. You need to make reservations to see the kitties. It's about $10 per person weekdays and $12 on the weekend for a 45 minute session. You may take your drinks in and the kitties may try to get a sip if you have something delicious. Socks are required, if you don't have any they do sell some for $4-5 a pair. There are 8-10 spots available depending on the time of day. So if you book five spots for your family, you may be mixed in with 5 other individuals. There is plenty of room and this isn't an issue but you can book the entire room for the hour for $110. Remember, all of this money goes to support taking care of the cats including food and really expensive vet care. Finally, you came here for cats right, not really for drinks...but the drinks are really good. We usually get boba. They have very limited options not a full menu like you'd find at Bep or other boba dedicated cafés. Like I love jasmine and they don't have it here. But I usually just get taro and it's fine. Their Thai iced tea with boba is pretty good. You can adjust the sweetness and the amount of ice so I usually get light ice and 25% sweet to save a few calories. They have coffee, chai, hot chocolate, tea and a few other items. Enjoy a drink and help some kitties!

I would absolutely get this again!!Super flavorful, great texture, and just hit the spot. Easily the highlight of our visit! My husband got the Corsco, which unfortunately wasn't as great. The version he received looked noticeably different from what was pictured on the online menu. To their credit, the staff remade it for him in a sun-dried tomato wrap instead of the white bread it originally came with, he said it was much better in the wrap. But he would try something else next time. The atmosphere here is definitely unique -- dog-themed and very cute. I loved their branded tumblers; honestly, I might swing back just to buy one. It did take a while to place our order, but the crowd makes it clear this place has a loyal following. As for the sides, they didn't impress. I had the potato salad -- pretty bland until I added some salt and pepper. My husband had the spiral pasta salad, which we'd rate around a 6/10. It's a little hard to find -- kind of tucked away and easy to miss -- but if you're curious, it's worth checking out at least once. You might just find your new favorite sandwich! I want to try their salads next.

My Reuben was the skimpiest I've ever had, especially for $14, and it didn't come with a side, just a can of soda I didn't need. My husband's wrap was also small. The potato salad I ordered was literally the consistency of mashed potatoes. For the cost, we expected much better.

The cat room is intimate but spacious enough for a few different groups. They have tons of toys, enrichment items, even a kitty tv. We ordered coffee which she delivered right to us. I had the BLTA sandwich with french fries and Dijonaise on the side and my spouse had the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito with home fries. We also each got different sodas from the cooler area. The total for two lunch entrées and two canned sodas was about $40. I feel like this is pretty high relatively speaking for a sandwich and fries, and a breakfast burrito and home fries + two canned sodas, which is why I gave the overall value a four. However, the breakfast burrito, home fries, and regular fries were AMAZING. Probably one of the best breakfast burritos I have had in a really long time, and the home fries were crispy and well seasoned. The sandwich I had was pretty good, but nothing super special, and definitely not worth $16. I didn't particularly care for the Dijonnais, but that's just personal preference and glad I had it on the side. The restaurant itself has ample parking and is easy to find. It has a lot of seating, as well as lounge type seating for the breakfast/café crew and people who might be coming to do a little bit of work. You order at the front and they give you a number and bring the food out to your table. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and kind. The restaurant itself was clean. Overall, I would probably give this somewhere between a four and a five, but I do really love to support Local and I could tell this place probably makes a banging coffee drink and had delicious looking desserts, so I went with a 5. Unfortunately, we live between 35 and 40 minutes away, so we likely won't return, but if we find ourselves in that area of Chapel Hill, I would consider stopping in for another breakfast burrito!
