It was actually stirred not shaken, and I wish I caught the barista's name because she was classic. As a James Bond fan, I couldn't stop laughing when she said, "As 007 would say, this is shaken not stirred. So this being stirred not shaken, he must go as 700." That absolutely made my day. Coffee was spot on, service was incredible, but the real standout is the space itself. This is easily one of the most relaxing and serene spots anywhere in the Triad. It's huge, with multiple rooms for working, unwinding, or hanging out with friends. Comfortable couches everywhere, quiet corners for privacy, soothing music, and a large covered and cozy patio. The baristas are always friendly, and while there isn't always a table to spare (inside at least - patio seating is usually open in nicer weather), the atmosphere remains comfortable. She does something unique with her coffees and it's with something as simple as the ice. She makes her own coffee ice cubes, so as it melts your drink won't get watered down, it'll get coffee'd? down! She has menus that describe how to order your coffees if you don't know how to order them properly, like me! Claudia was super friendly and proud of her shop and her craft. I ordered a mocha and she drizzled the cup with chocolate syrup, and whipped cream on top and she poured the espresso on the very top, which I've never seen before.
