It's been a few months since this location is going downhill because of the people that work there. I experienced last night the worst customer service experience yet at this location. Google says they close at 7pm. Yesterday it was the 3rd time in a week that I went 20 min or so before seven just to grab donuts and coffee and they were already closed. Last night I was there at 6:13. James took our order, he was beyond rude with an attitude. I even asked him if he was in a rush and he said yes. I ended up not ordering my coffee because he said they didn't have any brewing at the moment. I paid for our half dozen donuts and my brother's matcha and wen to the "pick up" area. Another lady that was working there apologized and tried to make things right and offered to make me a coffee, she said any coffee and it would just be a couple minutes. She was so nice and at the same time embarrassed for her coworker's attitude I felt just grateful for her kindness. I didn't take the drink she offered just because my craving and mood foe coffee was killed by James' rudeness. We excited the store maybe a few minutes after 6:20 when we left followed by 2 other customers and James locked the door behind us, he then shut the lights off. I thought they closed at 7? This DD store has got to be one of the WORST I have ever gone into; and I've been a loyal DD customer for years and been in many stores in several states. The store is always dirty, service is always slow and today the clerk was especially rude for a simple order of a medium cup of coffee with cream. I visit this location from time to time, so I'm not a regular, but I am very familiar with it. It's a pretty squared away Dunkin Donuts. They have what I need and they are usually pretty quick. The store is always clean and the staff does a good job of being friendly. I have three minor issues which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. 1st issue is training. It seems like every time I come here I deal with someone that is just learning how to use the register. I understand this and I am usually very patient. My problem is that the trainer is not there with the new or inexperienced employee. Whenever I redeem a special offer like a free drink or food item they don't know how to handle it. Then they have to retrieve the trainer which turns my simple transaction into a whole ordeal. 2nd issue is that they sometimes don't have ample stock of K-Cups. This has changed lately so maybe they've figured it out. Supply is critical and nothing frustrates me more than not being able to get what I came for. 3rd issue is the parking lot. This isn't really their fault because they didn't design the lot, as it is part of a shopping center. The parking lot can get crowded and sometimes you have to park far away. It's not such a bad thing as I can probably use the extra calorie burn, especially since I'm visiting Dunkin Donuts. Altogether it's a good store and I will continue to visit it when I need to. No longer so great. I use the app to order here. No matter how early I submit the order for pickup, it is never ready for pickup when I arrive anymore. This has been going on for well over 5 months, and I'm ready to find a new morning coffee place. They offer way less choices on the app than they used to at this location (e.g., there is no longer cheddar cheese or certain breads as an option for sandwiches, advertised specials are usually not available). Also, they do not always have the ingredients on hand to make my order, so more and more my order is not correct because they used the wrong bagel type, etc. A few times lately, my sandwiches have been burnt in places. We visited the DD at the gainesville location. Ordered 3 medium ice coffees which were advertised as $2 and was not honored. If you are looking for a decent cup of coffee, this is the place to go. Their menu gives a large variety of options for every type of customer. However, if you are looking for breakfast about 60% of the time I am disappointed. The doughnuts are generally pretty stale which is not pleasing. If food that is named in the restaurant's title is sub par, then you know something is wrong. Most Dunkin donuts locations are great but this one is below average. In addition to unsatisfying food, the customer service is lacking. There is always a wait which is fine if the store is actually crowded but it is usually not. Also orders are often confused only delaying the time it takes to get my order. I will say that if an order is messed up they will make sure they fix the issue. This review was made not to bad mouth the business because some days it is spot on, but generally there needs to be some improvement. Hopefully this review can inspire the manager or an employee to make some changes because there is definitely potential. read more

I called this place when I was on my way today to place a Togo order. I am not to sure about why 2 turkey and 2 bacon wake up wraps with 3 orders of hash browns was so difficult. However, the girl on the phone took my order and I had to keep repeating my order to her because she kept getting it incorrect. Then after an extended conversation about my order she told me it won't be quicker then coming in because I will need to pay first at the register. Ok so what was the purpose of taking my order over the phone. When I arrived they didn't have my order in the system or even written down. Just ridiculous! The reason I wanted to place my order ahead of time is because they are so slow with putting your order together and it's always hot inside the store.
