DD just opened in Gainesville, VA a couple of weeks ago. Got a breakfast sandwich with hash rounds and coffee. I wanted a sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. For some reason - they were out of sausage. So I substituted bacon. The bacon was thin and rather pathetic. Hash rounds were so-so. Coffee was very good though.

I visit this location from time to time, so I'm not a regular, but I am very familiar with it. It's a pretty squared away Dunkin Donuts. They have what I need and they are usually pretty quick. The store is always clean and the staff does a good job of being friendly. I have three minor issues which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. 1st issue is training. It seems like every time I come here I deal with someone that is just learning how to use the register. I understand this and I am usually very patient. My problem is that the trainer is not there with the new or inexperienced employee. Whenever I redeem a special offer like a free drink or food item they don't know how to handle it. Then they have to retrieve the trainer which turns my simple transaction into a whole ordeal. 2nd issue is that they sometimes don't have ample stock of K-Cups. This has changed lately so maybe they've figured it out. Supply is critical and nothing frustrates me more than not being able to get what I came for. 3rd issue is the parking lot. This isn't really their fault because they didn't design the lot, as it is part of a shopping center. The parking lot can get crowded and sometimes you have to park far away. It's not such a bad thing as I can probably use the extra calorie burn, especially since I'm visiting Dunkin Donuts. Altogether it's a good store and I will continue to visit it when I need to. Hopefully they'll keep those K-Cups stocked. *This business is gun carry friendly.

I love this Dunkin because the espresso machine was not working, but the employee at the register suggested I put my flavor shots in a regular coffee. It tasted just like the latte I usually get and was two dollars cheaper! They were quick to fill the orders and was an overall pleasant experience.

I can tell I'm not the first to give this place a negative review. Listen, I'm not going to launch into how no one was at the register when I walked in. I'm not going to talk about the sick and annoyed looks that the cashiers gave me when they finally noticed I was standing there. I'm not even going to talk about their complete inability to say hello or anything along those lines. What bugs the hell out of me is that I bought a large cold brew with cream and it was almost entirely ice. I mean, not just like a lot of ice, but like they actually packed as much ice in as possible. A complete and total rip off - I'll never come back here.

The staff is always so welcoming and kind, even while being busy. The food is great and I only come to this Dunkin for my drinks because they make them the best! It's kept very clean, and social distancing is required here.

I paid for a medium-size coffee.... I got a medium size cup, a cup full of ice, and finished it with two sips. THANKS!

Donuts are always pretty good, coffee isn't necessarily the best but it's good enough. It's also pretty close to home. I'm a fan.

The ones I tried were the yeast type of donut and had a terrific consistency being soft and not too dense. Also tried an apple fritter that was almost twice as large as the donuts. The highlight were the croissant donuts. They were layers of buttery, flaky dough in a square format. I've tried the ones from Dominic Ansel when the cronut was at its peak and I prefer the Freddy version. I found the ones with the drizzle on them to be better. If you can't commit to a whole cronut you can get cronut bites for 25 cents each!

Being from New York the…read morecronut is a staple- Freddy's got them beat in every way- the cronut itself is super light and crisp. The flakey buttery layers is heaven. The size of the cronut is huge compared to the Dominique Ansel one. Freddy's is the size of your hand where the other is a quarter size smaller. The cronut at Freddy's is also cheaper going at $4.25 versus $7.75 at Dominique Ansel. They come in glaze drizzle, chocolate and vanilla drizzle, maple drizzle and French toast. Cronuts not available or don't feel like a big cronut...ask if they have the cronut bites. They come in a set of three and you can get either glaze drizzle or cinnamon sugar. The size of their classic and specialty donuts are huge. We are talking easily can be sharable (if you want to). Currently the pricing of their donuts are: $1.95 house/ $2.75 specialty/$2.75 cake/ $3.25 monster filled. They have quite the creative list of flavors. No gluten free options though. Their donuts are light and flavorful. It's not overly sweet at all and well balanced. By their size you get your bang for your buck. If you want to get your choosing of flavors, it's better to go at the start of the day. Later in the day you chance that they could be sold out on flavors - especially if they are busy that day. The donuts are packed in whimsical boxes that are colorful and say "You Deserve A Donut." They also have drinks for purchase but we didn't grab any- maybe next time. On the wall they also have cute donut themed shirts with popular cartoons and characters like Bluey, Pikachu and Deadpool. There is limited parking around the shop. Otherwise plenty of street parking. We took our donuts to go but you can also dine there in front of the store where they have picnic tables. The building looks like it might have been a service gas station in the past. It's decorated with a snake mural and they also have neat drawings inside on their chalkboard menu. We will definitely be back since we have friends that live in the next town over who are also huge fan. 100% recommend this sweet place.

An assortment of flavors, from red velvet and sourdough, to cream filled. It was this latter where Texas stands out: they can fill it with a variety of fillings using a machine on every stoners wish list: it injects the donut with flavors. I got two chocolate glazed filled with Bavarian, and whitw creme, and a long john of Bavarian. The cream fillings were great, no trouble there. The donuts were.. different. Donuts have that progression, from air filled Krispy Kreme, to dense cake donuts, and used hockey pucks left over from 1987 Duncan Donuts. I like the airy kind, not so much as Krispy because that's too thin, but something with heft, but air pockets. Texas rides the line between pockets of air and density, and what it tasted like is that they had been airy at one point, but those pockets collapsed on themselves creating a hybrid airy/dense donut. Tasty, but not top of my list. That spot still belongs to Duck Donuts. It's possible the Texas donuts I had were sitting out a bit, or the creme filling caused a collapse of the internal donut structure. I'm not sure but I will go back to try the denser varieties to be sure. Very nice employees, calm and clean interior. Parking is tough, on a hill in tight spots, or down around the hill and climb some stairs.

But let me give you one piece of advice: Get there EARLY. Nothing hurts more than walking in with your heart set on an apple fritter, only to watch the person in front of you buy the last one.
