I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Dunkin'. I understand that mistakes happen, but this has become a constant issue at this location. My sandwich didn't even have the sausage I ordered, so I went back to have it remade, and the replacement came out looking like this. It was messy, poorly put together, and honestly just frustrating. What made it worse was how rude the main manager was when I tried to address the issue. I completely understand that mistakes happen, but when it keeps happening and the customer service is this poor, it becomes a bigger problem. Disgusting sanitation observed today. Employees were seen wiping their face while preparing the food. Management was telling employees to respond to customer inquiries with abrasiveness. I overheard a manager telling an employee to stand her ground when a customer simply asked to have something warmed up. Ordered ten minutes before they closed on the app and were told "we're closing in a few minutes and we're out of everything you ordered. You can come back tomorrow." Texas Toast Grilled Cheese with bacon was good. It was on the dry side. toasted and with American cheese. with extra bacon. Coffee was so so. They called this coffee. I usually don't make posts for drive-thru orders, but I had to comment on the service. Imagine it being 7am and you're headed for a long day of training. You get greeted by such a friendly voice, who actually gets your order right AND happens to be super pleasant when you drive around to see her in person. Well sorry to say I have to update this review. While service may be quick and coffee is very good last couple times donuts were stale and old. This I could deal with but The bathroom that the staff uses has had NO SOAP in it for days. So how does the staff wash their hands before returning to work as per public health regulations!!!!!!! The drive-through never works (been that way for years), service is beyond deplorable, management and oversight is nonexistent, cleanliness is not a priority, service is at a snails pace, and the food is terrible. I honestly don't know how this location has stayed in business so long other than that it's on an Army Exchange contract. I've been to this location of Dunkin Donuts (both thru the drive thru and going inside) several times. It hasn't always been a pleasant experience (e.g. cold coffee, meat on my sandwich when all I asked for was an egg and cheese or forgetting to put something in my order). However since the business shut down in 2015 for about a month. (The signage said it had something to do with the water supply.) It appears. It has gotten better. Truth be told, I think they have new employees (and perhaps leadership). I saw new faces at this location when they reopened. This is pushing my rating up from 2 to 3 stars. This location it is super convenient for people in Fort Belvoir (and on a cold morning who wants to step out of their car any more times than is absolutely necessary) making it hard not to give it another try. I've just learned to check my order at to be very clear at the drive thru window. I think. You'll have less issues at this location (and the employees are less overwhelmed) if you arrive before 6:15 AM. If you're looking for a Dunkin Donuts that has sit down options available this location is not for you. It set up to serve commuters. I don't think there is any sitting available. In a nutshell, it is super convenient if you need a cup of coffee and/or a snack in Fort Belvoir but knowing they have a captive audience has not made them work towards stellar service. read more

I use to come here 5 days a week but over the past year they have changed. It's always a 50/50 chance that they get my order right. I have tried using the drive thru, walking in, and even the mobile order with no improvement. Because of this I have only been going once a week now if I'm feeling lucky. Usually I don't have time to ask if they can correct my order except for today. They gave me my order, and politely told them my order was wrong and he admitted it was wrong and went to fix it and still came back with my order wrong. This location is consistently a let down. Every visit, it's either my food is cold, they try handing me the wrong drink, or just terrible employee attitudes. Convenient location if you live or work on the base however, drink and food quality is very low. Hot beverages or Luke warm and never taste the way you'd expect it. Not happy at all with the quality. For years, I routinely order a Vanilla Chai spice and lately (over several months) the taste is almost inedible...something has changed either the recipe or whose ever mixing is not following the recipe instructions. This location has always been extremely slow / poor service & to help offset this I've started using the mobile order app to save the wait; but today was a new low. BLUF: ordered a sandwich, but when I went to pick it up (having already paid for it in the app) & was informed that they didn't have the stuff there to make it.. and to be fair, they didn't. They literally had no food in the store (all racks were empty) but where still open, taking orders (and money) knowing there was no food. So far this location has a 100% record for getting my order wrong not once each time, but twice. Service consistently takes at least 15 minutes, the staff either doesn't know the menu or doesn't care, and management is rude. I check my order before leaving every time, it is wrong every time (wrong sandwich, wrong number of donuts, food missing), I take it back in and the "fixed" order is wrong every time too. The manager Sarah is continuously rude to me, someone who is somewhat regular to this location, and feels it is necessary to argue with the costumer. I have had several occasions where this same manager has made my experience horrible. The only reason that I continue to go is the convince of the drive through and proximity to work. It is apparent that this company will promote anyone, even those who are extremely rude to customers. Trust me, if Krispy Kreme wasn't a 20 minute drive away... For starters, it's designed exclusively for carry out, which is perfect for its location on a military installation. The largest issue I have with this location is the failure to open on time. When I first started using this location (about 20 years ago), there was a woman that always opened on time or a little early. The current bunch of kids operating the place barely know how to show up before the store is scheduled to open let alone open the doors on time. Dunkin donuts has the best coffee ever and their breakfast is great. This Dunkin Donuts in particular is the worst I have ever been to as far as service and management. I dont know how the manager keeps his job. This morning I arrive to two employees working and line in the drive thru and inside which had more than 7 people waiting but this is nothing unusual for this location. Consistently and including today, their credit card machine never works and they allow you to wait in a line for 20 minutes or longer without telling anyone. Today I just happened to overhear them say its not working so I walled up to the counter and told them they owed it to their customers to let them know right away instead of letting them stand in a line for 15- 20 minutes and then tell them they cannot pay with anything other than cash. Today they only had a rack of glazed donut and the rest of the racks were empty at 7 am in the morning. The chairs were not even off the tables when I was in there this morning. This is nothing unusual for this location. They constantly dont have their act together. They consistently run out of cups, creamer and other items. Most of the time I go through the drive thru I order a large coffee (daily). I never get the correct cup size. They always say they are out of the large cups so I get an extra large. They never give you a receipt, they are just all over the place and consistently this just screams poor management. You also cannot hear anything at their drive thru. Their speaker system never works and its just stressful for the customer and the employee. This place also has no organzation and everything behind their counter just seems to be difficult and not convenient for the worker to efficiently work.
