Second time they were closed during 4th of July week. Finally got a chance to go there recently at 6am and got a dozen donuts, along with a coffee roll and coffee. Wanted to try it all. Unfortunately their chocolate-themed donuts are only available on Friday and Saturday, I believe they said. And for the ones like maple, need to special order ahead of time. Still got a ton of marshmallow donuts, an apple filled, lemon filled, some honey dipped, and a few others. Everything tasted amazing. The donuts are very much worth it for the price. It will be hard to find a place that has better donuts than Donut Shack!

I got there around 11am on a Sunday thinking they wouldn't have a huge selection left. Also, bonus to have several street spaces right in front. I got to try all of my favorite donuts: lemon filled, Boston cream, strawberry, s'mores, cookies and cream, sugar raised, and a chocolate frosted. The employee threw in an extra donut for my little one without charging which was just a sweet thing. All the donuts were yeast style donuts and were pillowy soft. Did I mention the perfect croissants. As big as my girls' head, perfectly priced, soft, and delicious. The inside of the shop was just perfect enough to grab our donuts and coffee. There are a few seats but we took ours to devour in the car. I also tried a hot Vietnamese style coffee. So good! They had a few regulars who came in just for coffee. That's how you know they're doing good things. I can't wait to go back!

There was a time when I'd pick up donuts here whenever we had people coming over. My partner really hyped this place up, so it became one of the spots we'd consider when getting donuts. We don't make it here as often these days, though. One thing I do enjoy is that they come up with seasonal and unique flavors. Some of these you might only discover by visiting the store. It's been harder to find a really good, fluffy honey dip, and theirs is decent. I also enjoy the Boston cream. My partner's favorite is the apple fritter, which isn't something every donut shop carries. If he's craving one, we'll swing by and pick it up. Overall Service: The people here are nice, and I'm glad they accept cards now. It's a small convenience that I appreciate.
