    The "fireplace"
    Candy G.

Yay! Another addition to the Dunkin Donuts family, this spacious and clean location even features a "fireplace" on the television. Open 24 hours and no drive thru. Staff is friendly and definitely listen--they'll even strike up a conversation with you. Loved that this DD had plenty of DD swag, including the limited edition "locations" mugs in both New York and New Jersey!

A couple of things can really ruin a Dunkin Donuts for me and luckily this one has never done any of them. This is my favorite D&D and I'm always welcomed by whoever is behind the register. It's always clean and has a nice lay out for you to drink your coffee in peace. They staff is always friendly and doesn't get your order wrong. My order is not complicated but my wife takes almond milk in her lattes. I know that I don't need to make sure they use almond milk when I come here because they haven't given me something else like some of the other ones I've been to. If your looking for a good cup of coffee and a great staff stop by when your traveling on route 3 west. Also nice parking lot with plenty of space.

Inches away from getting seriously hurt.

Cleaner than other dunkin donuts. The owner gave me extra doughnuts near closing. I think he was the owner. Nice! Recommend this place (:

There also isn't a clear menu at this location with prices at former Fort Lee location, there was. I really enjoyed the cannoli donut, the spring special: guava and cream cheese donut, the Bavarian cream filled cronut, and the cold brew infused donut - it was my favorite. It was so soft, not too strong and not too sweet. The perfect balance and the cream on top was just delectable and fluffy. I also tried the Dubai chocolate but was not a fan of the very sweet pistachio filling inside, the Italian rainbow doughnut was also very sweet, did not enjoy it. Overall, I enjoyed some of the donuts but a couple of them were too sweet for my preference. The ambience is chill. I don't really see it as a place where I'd hang out but maybe some people would! Service was fine. The woman at the counter knew all of her donut flavors and gave us some recommendations Parking is street parking so if you get there early as soon as they open up, you should be able to find parking. I can't speak for later on on the weekends or weekdays, though.

I went here last year around Thanksgiving as I have been a big fan of this bakery for many years. I actually drive almost 30 minutes for treats to bring my family for the holidays. It was busy when I went in and a I waited in line for my turn. Once the man in front of me ordered, and the young blonde girl behind the counter called next, I went to place my order and the man in front of me mistakenly thought he could have her do the rest of his order. I still tried to get her attention, but she refused to even look at me. Here I will note that I look very different from the other patrons in the bakery at the time... take that for what it's worth. The other workers saw this happening, and didnt acknowledge how I was being ignored by this girl. The middle aged woman who works there, who I have bought from for years, then went to help the person after me... what kind of service is that? The crazy thing is the man in front of me even apologized for what he did because he was confused by what was going on, and the middle aged women STILL DID NOT HELP ME. I always thought she was a manager or owner... perhaps she doesn't like people with my skin color. Who knows. Finally, after an upsetting amount of time where I was feeling humiliated, a brown haired girl (with absolutely great eye makeup said she would help me). Good to know one decent person works there. I used to go there regularly when I worked in the area and stopped going as often, but I will never go again and have stopped recommending it to others. For the area, there are plenty of bakeries without people like this blonde girl, who would love to have a diverse group clientele who doesn't look just like them :) Avoid this place if you don't want to be treated like a second class citizen. The way I was treated was disgusting and shameful.

It is celebrated the Thursday in the week before Ash Wednesday, whose tradition is unique since it dates back to at least the Middle Ages, and is the perfect excuse to eat the famous and delicious Polish pastry. Pączki, pronounced "poonch-key," are Polish deep-fried donuts that are filled with some sweet filling such as jam, custard, lemon curd, or chocolate. They are usually covered with powdered sugar, icing, glaze, or dried orange zest. Located on Jewell Street in Garfield, we've been coming here to Kohout Bakery for a couple of years. Greeted by the friendly staff, my partner and I were lucky to have the whole establishment to ourselves. Like a step back in time, this small bakery sells freshly made bread, danishes, cookies, strudel, and some deli meats. Patrons have raved about the perfect balance of flavors, particularly noting the distinction between glazed and powdered jelly varieties. We picked out a couple of their donuts, whose price was very reasonable and cash only. This bakery continues to celebrate the joy of baking and the flavors of generations past, which we can recommend.

The 7 Sisters is very similar to the one Pechters used to make when they had an attached retail bakery for the public(which sadly closed for good during the pandemic) Other items were cheesecake(more like ricotta not two sweet & despite appearance it's surprisingly moist with a layer of chocolate icing), crystal sugar coated creme horns, layered apple cake & until the last couple of visits very good of all things Florentine Lace cookies(which originated from Italy or France depending on who you talk to). All items are fresh & last 5-7 days. Workers are always polite & even though all Polish do speak enough English to properly serve their non-Polish speaking customers. The bakery is very small so any specialty items I always order ahead. As far as the parking I would just park in the lot next door but on my last visit this past Xmas Eve there was a sign on the bakery door warning not to do that because you may get ticketed &/or towed. Fortunately, I was able to find a spot on the same block on the street. The lot as usual was less than 1/4 full so the town of Passaic needs to use their brains & realize making it harder for small business to succeed(especially one where the local clientele has changed drastically over the years) is only going to cost the town in the long run. At least during this visit the meters were covered so no worries about getting a parking ticket. I will continue to patronize this establishment as long as I can park within a block or two.
