The staff was genuinely welcoming, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Now, the food... absolutely incredible. The fluffy buttermilk pancakes were some of the best I've ever had, and the bacon syrup deserves its own standing ovation. It was rich, sweet, savory, and packed with real pieces of bacon such a unique and unforgettable combination and it had a spice to it as well what paired well with The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Between the amazing atmosphere, outstanding service, and unforgettable food, Jones Farm & Country Store is a place I'll gladly return to again and again. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and don't miss it!

I've been here a few times and will just add that the food isn't amazing and is typically slow to come out (not expecting that much given that the place is small and can get crowded). Today they had no real lunch items except for soup and a few pre-made sandwiches, all egg or breakfast items even after 11. I wouldn't order the avocado toast again; while the egg was made well, the avocado was spread pretty thinly and the toast very thin and ordinary. The chicken and Waffles with Sriracha maple syrup was pretty good and the gruyere, mushroom, spinach and egg sandwich as well. I think everything is fine, including the bakery, but nothing really stands out. $10 minimum for credit cards. They close on Mondays and Tuesdays. They don't have a big lot but do have overflow parking.

The lady behind the counter indicated that two scoops wouldn't be stable on a regular cone. Fine. Waffle cone it is. As I watched her struggle to scoop the ice cream I knew I was going to get a dud. It's got a great texture and is not too sweet. Everything else was okay. Service (5/5): The people working here are always so welcoming and patient. They answer my questions to the best of their ability and make my overall customer experience positive. Ambience (5/5): It's cute! The theme seems to be old school candy shop. I like that there are some retro candies that I grew up with. Ultimately, if you're hankering for sweets and you're nearby, definitely stop by. But I wouldn't recommend going out of your way. Try the pumpkin cake!

There's always something new to discover. While I was there planning to visit the Italian Art Gallery nearby, I came across Cold Spring Coffee House and saw that it had great reviews, so I figured it would be the perfect place to start my day. Getting there: If you're coming from NYC, the Metro-North is super convenient. The coffee house is an easy walk from the Cold Spring train station, which makes it a great stop when spending the day exploring the town. Inside, the coffee house isn't overly decorated, but it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I wasn't a huge fan of how close together some of the tables were, but it was quiet enough to sit. They also have a few tables out front if you'd rather enjoy your coffee while taking in the charming street. But the real showstopper here is the pastry selection! With such a beautiful display of pastries, who needs extra decorations? There were so many tempting options that it was hard to choose, but I ultimately went with the Goat Cheese & Honey Danish and paired it with a medium coffee. Overall, I'm glad I added this stop to my Cold Spring adventure. I always enjoy spending time here, strolling through the town, popping into the different shops, and finding little spots like this along the way. It's a great place to grab a coffee and pastry before continuing to explore everything Cold Spring has to offer.
