I have an updated this review in a very long time. This Duncan has been renovated in the meantime. Back when we used to be able to go inside it was quick and easy especially if you have the app and did order in advance. Since Covid started you can only do the drive-through here. Sometimes I like to be long but it almost always moves pretty quickly. Overall this team is doing great work in a difficult situation. Extra star for navigating the difficult situation well. having previous experience with this in the past, at a different Dunkin location, I called this Dunkin location, which is close to the elementary school that I work at to request a donation of two dozen donuts. When I called to request, they agreed to the request and just asked that I sent them an official request letter so that they could put it on file. I did as they requested typing up the request writing what it was for writing how much it was for the date everything. They asked that I dropped the letter off in person, which I then did. I spoke to someone again when I dropped it off and left my cell phone number so they could call me if there was any questions. When I came to pick up the donation this morning, they told me they have no idea what I'm talking about, that they never saw the letter, that they don't do donations, and then they walked away. It was some of the most rude customer service I've gotten on top of them, not fulfilling the donation request that they had already confirmed. I will never return to this dunkin. read more

I have not been to a Dunkin in a long time, but was disappointed at the very small donut selection. Plus the placement of them directly behind the counter person makes them hard to see. The two donuts I got were excellent, tasted fresh, well baked with good fillings, everything donuts should be; that is the only really positive part of my experience. The staff person was friendly if not necessarily engaged. The store smells terrible - shouldn't it smell like donuts, or at least food? I don't know what the smell was but it was bad. The men's restroom was also extremely disgusting level of not clean. (Husband was trying not to gag as he walked out). Loved the donuts but will not be back to this location. read more

Dunkin' Donuts may be the king of New England, but it does not reign king in Buffalo. I usually come to Dunkin' Donuts for Loganberry coolatas and nothing more but last Sunday it was the place to go for lunch. Came here in the afternoon and decided to try some things on the menu I've never tried before. I ended up trying the new $2 chicken tenders and the $2 pretzel bites and both lead to disappointment, but I'll get back to that. When we placed our order and got to the window they only gave us one of the chicken tenders we ordered (my girlfriend also ordered one). When we told them that we only got one it turned into 4 minutes of them asking us if we actually ordered two, looking at our recipe, and then trying to figure out what happened to the other chicken tenders they made.....which was a tad confusing. Let's do a quick break down here. Rainbow sprinkle donut- It's a donut, nothing special but it tasted good and was definitely the best thing I had. Pretzel bites- These tasted like they were microwaved a half hour ago and then served, not good, not good at all. Chicken tenders- These were not terrible, but they mostly tasted like microwaved chicken tenders from a bag. Loganberry coolata- This was hands down the highlight of the trip. This is definitely the best flavour of collate....and sadly......THEY HAVE DISCONTINUED THIS ITEM SINCE MY LAST TRIP. Dunkin' Donuts is Dunkin' Donuts, if you need some coffee, some donuts, or a breakfast sandwich, this is a safe place to stop. I wouldn't recommend trying much else. read more

This Dunkin' location is not our usual store, but when our daughter is playing off-season AAU basketball, this location is closer to her practices and then heavier in our Dunkin'-rotation. Dunkin' is my favorite chain store coffee blend. Both Tim Horton's and Starbucks coffees are too dark for my liking, even their lighter roasts. Dunkin's regular coffee is a nice smooth lighter roast that is always hot and fresh. This rings true at this Dunkin' location, too. One challenge we've run into here is most times we come something that we order on the app is out of stock. We're coming later at night, after 6pm, so AM availability across the menu is probably better, I assume. But later-night can be hit or miss. The good thing is the very friendly drive-thru staff, (after 6pm they lock up and serve drive-thru only), will go above and beyond to offer a satisfactory substitute. We'll continue to come through this Dunkin' when we're in the area to enjoy a hot cup of decaf when waiting for the kiddo to do her thing on the hardwoods. read more

This store is a hot mess. I hate to say that..but the employees are actively arguing in front of customers and yelling at one another. The shop was a mess, with the trash overflowing and chairs all around the store. Wait for three coffees was around 20 minutes... with only one other person in front of us. I hope management address these issues or the store will fail. read more

Even for a pandemic-era fast food place, this location is staggeringly disorganized and lackadaisical. The quality is far more inconsistent than I've come to expect from cheap fast food, and that's saying something. Drinks ordered to-go need to come with straws (and they should, according to Dunkin SOP) but this location just always "forgets". Black coffee comes with extra milk and sugar, etc....you just always have to double and triple check your order here. If it weren't the closest coffee shop to my home I wouldn't consider it an option at all. read more

And 2 people working at a gas station Dunkin in Amherst, it took over 20 minutes to get a wrap and 2 drinks, one of which was incorrect. The secone, the employee said she "forgot" to make it. Monday evening, me and my fiance got engaged after walking around Delaware Park on a hot day, so naturally we wanted a drink! If I knew the kind of service we were going to get, I would've driven to China and asked for Capitalism instead. That would've definitely gone better. Or maybe gone to get skinned and baked at a cannibal island. Or maybe even rolled up and smoked by a giant ganja plant, just like Mr. Wayans. Anywho, when we pulled up to the speaker, the faintest "hello" was heard, of course not greeting me but responding to me after I called out several times. Now, this was approximately 7:40 pm, and this location closes at 8:00 pm, but I did not expect the same service that Taco Bells in the hood are known for: closing before closing time. We finally gave her our order, a single refresher drink. When we got to the window, she "attempted" to open the window with a smug smile. Barely trying and prying it apart one inch, then having her fingers slip and letting it shut. She did this about three times before she said "oops, it's closed. It won't open. Sorry." Now of course imagine this while she rests her elbows on the window, smirk on her face knowing that in the this part of town, on Delaware, no one would do anything about it. The standards seem to be dropping in this part of town, you can't even get a drink 20 minutes before closing time. Sad. Next time, I'll make sure to be a proper American and chain myself to the counter on the inside, seems to be how people get what they want in this country. read more

This location, while closest to my home, is TERRIBLE! There is only one good employee, and I haven't seen her in quite a while. Order on the app? It gets messed up. Order for delivery? Good luck getting your items. (My Grubhub order today was supposedly picked up and delivered, but my driver arrived at the store AFTER it was grabbed and I never received anything! Hope whomever stole my order is happy with it.) They only bake ONCE per day at this location, making their products unavailable. (So much for "time to make the donuts!") They break down equipment for cleaning 1-3 HOURS BEFORE closing. Most employees haven't been wearing masks even in the height of the pandemic. I've tried to call corporate/their franchise offices with zero success. Honestly? If they didn't have more sugar free flavorings than the Tim Hortons less than a block away I would never go here! I've only ever used the drive thru at this location and I have only used it because the closest Tim Horton's to my home is around the corner from this DD and their drive thru line is always way too long. The funny thing is, I will get in this DD line and there will be about three people ahead of me and while it appears to be a "small line" it takes just as long for the line to move here than it does if I had waited at the Tim Horton's around the corner. There's something incredibly wrong with that and that's why I'm giving them two stars. Their service is lacking and rarely will I stop because I just don't have time to wait that long for a donut and coffee. That being said, I have never had an issue with their donuts or coffee. I enjoy both, they taste great. Tim Horton's doesn't carry a classic glazed donut they have a glazed old fashioned donut and it's not the same but the glazed donut at DD is delicious. I love Dunkin's food, and go there because of it. I travel for work and go to different locations across many states and always have a good experience - with the exception of this location. Nearly every time I go here - the Delaware & Hertel location - it is awful compared to any other Dunkin Donuts. And it's not just for one specific reason, this location is a complete disappointment in nearly all aspects - Regularly out of items on the menu, not selling items ever other Dunkin' sells, kitchen equipment is down, consistently rude/short employees that work the drive thru, and unbelievably LONG waits for every order. Dunkin' is a great breakfast spot, and this should be a great/very busy location. Unfortunately the team working this location ruins the Dunkin' name consistently with every visit. It's a shame I live so close to such a poorly run location. If nearby, go to a different location, or just go to Tim Hortons. You should avoid this Dunkin' Donuts at all costs. read more

The second I ordered a medium iced coffee was told that it was 3.90 I go to look on my bank account and they charged me 8.40???? Absolutely disgusting. There's something about this DD that is just off. I've come here a good number of times only because it's closest to me and I prefer DD to T Hos. For coming here so often, I think I've only seen the same person twice, but not more than that. I used to work at a DD for years, I know that turnover in a job like this is pretty high, but this one is even faster than fast. This leads to workers being a little on the slower side. One time our cashier couldn't find the buttons she needed to ring us out and I had to fight the urge to just spin the machine and put it in myself. The other issue with this specific one is that they are consistently out of something, and because it's me and my fiance's luck, it's usually something one of us was going to order. I hate that this is the most central seeming DD of Buffalo, because it's so lackluster, and gives DD a bad name. No wonder everyone scoffs at it from their T Hos cup. read more

About every third time I'm here, they get my order wrong. Unfortunately, it's a convenient location for when I need a quick bite between two work locations, so I'm often in a hurry and am down the road by the time I realize they messed up (again). This has happened even when the person who took my order has been the person to make my order, even after repeating it back to me. It's somewhat baffling. I usually just get an iced coffee while running around the neighbor so I can't speak about their food, but I've never had a bad experience. Worst DD EVER!!! Their milk steaming wand on the espresso machine has been broken on and off for almost a month. One Saturday I went there and they were all out of anything dairy (cream and any kind of milk) and the delivery wasn't for another 3 days. I complained to corporate about a month ago and they keep telling me the owner is going to contact me, but to this date... NADA! Owner clearly does not know what the hell they are doing and the fact that DD would let someone like that run one if their stores is shocking. Let's not mention the staff that is so hit or miss... either the rudest old ladies or the slowest service ever. This place is sucky. I had a coupon for a free travel mug, went there 3 times in a week and a half period getting my morning coffee, they said they were out of them. Finally the 4th time - today - I ask, they say their out, I ask when their getting them and they said their not. coupon expires in mid June and their not getting them? Really? Who does that. This is my 2nd unsatisfactory visit to this establishment. The first time I ordered a iced coffee with caramel swirl and skim milk. They were out of caramel swirl (understandable) so I opted for another flavor instead. Then I restated my order the they were out of skim. Then I asked for milk which they were also out of. So I said "then nothing in it, just the flavor". I pull up to the window and I am given an extremely light colored beverage. I asked what it was (thinking they confused the order with someone else's) but said "butter pecan swirl with 3 cream". I said "oh. I didn't want any cream. Can you remake it?" And the woman at the window said "can't you just drink it?" I took it, paid and left [date: 3/7/15] Today [3/14]: I went to place my order INSIDE thinking maybe last time it was a transmission error over the intercom. When I approached the register, I had to wait a few moments while the staff finished arguing about who got to take their cigarette break first and how much management sucked. When my order was taken, the staff talked amongst themselves for ~5 minutes for beginning to make it (despite no one else behind me and no one at the drive through). They COMPLETELY forgot my second beverage (an iced coffee - despite it being on the receipt), which took an additional 5 minutes to make. When I home, my bagels were basically eating bread, I had stated toasted and I highly doubt that they went through let alone were within the same building as a toaster. The cream cheese was a quarter sized dollop slapped square in the middle which was next to impossible to spread given that my food was still raw and no utensils were given. I also was not given a straw within the bag as well. I have never experienced such poor customer service at any dunkin donuts or even any store in my entire life. I will never be visiting this place again. I would highly suggest competency training of your employees and for the manager/shift supervisor on duty these days to be more concerned with her job then the next time she can go out back and smoke. read more
