I believe I got a bourbon and a pear, seasonal doughnut, a doggy doughnut for a friend of mine, a double chocolate doughnut for my father, and a meatball bacon cinnamon roll doughnut. My whole order including the doggy doughnut was only $20 minus the tip. They have coffee here along with lemonade, sweet tea, iced tea, and refresher you can get the coffee- hot or iced. I also noticed they have a wall of merchandise. I will definitely be back to pick up a hat, a sticker, and a T-shirt. 10/10 Phenomenal donuts Next time I will make sure to come a little bit early to get my father, the peanut butter and chocolate doughnut. The new location in Bluffton is beautiful. It's obvious a great deal of time, effort, and…read moreinvestment went into renovating the space. The restaurant feels clean, inviting, and well thought out. One area that could use improvement is signage. The property has a drive-thru lane and drive-thru windows, which naturally led me to assume there was drive-thru service available. After circling the building, I realizing it wasn't operational, not a major issue, but clearer signage would help eliminate confusion for first-time visitors. Once inside, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which is exactly what I've come to expect from Island Bagel. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the standard I've experienced at their other locations. I ordered the Lowcountry Breakfast Sandwich. The bagel was under-toasted, and the eggs were overcooked. While "stale" may not be the perfect word, the eggs gave the impression that they had been sitting for a while rather than being freshly prepared. The fresh, made-to-order quality I've come to associate with Island Bagel simply wasn't there during this visit. I'm hopeful this experience was an exception rather than the norm. Based on my past experiences with the company, I know they're capable of delivering much better. While this particular visit fell short of my expectations, I would still encourage people to give Island Bagel a try, whether at this location or one of their others. My hope is that this was simply an off day and that future visits better reflect the quality I've come to expect from the brand. Disclaimer: This review is based solely on my first visit to Island Bagel & Deli's new location. It is not necessarily representative of every experience I've had with the company. I've visited other Island Bagel locations in the past and have generally been very impressed. I believe reviews should be honest reflections of a specific experience while also providing constructive feedback that helps both future customers and the business itself.p

But last night, on July 10, 2026, they were not. It was somewhat of an awkward, tourist trap like experience for me. I'm not sure I'm coming back at least for a few years. I won't belabor the points, but I feel robbed... - slow, disengaged workers (there for over an hour) - workers listening to AirPods - closed up early, walking around w drinks and closing blinds. - no waffle cones on a Friday night at prime time. I asked. They were not willing to make them either. - the scoops were so small, really small. Putting a value of it, I estimated for the amount and size I was paying about $35-$40 per pint. That is just too much. - the was a pregnant lady in the waffle area. I'm gonna give Kilwins the benefit of the doubt and say they were doing a kind gesture to a person in need. But it was an awkward atmosphere, very awkward, so I do wonder a bit at least. I love Kilwins. Hope they get their act together. But be aware. It might not be the Kilwins you knew on a previous visit.
