Credit where it's due, it delivered the power. Strawberry forward, icy cold, and thick enough to feel like you're making a healthy decision without actually chewing anything. It tasted fresh, not watered down, and had just enough sweetness to make you feel like you're getting away with something. Service was quick. Order placed. Blender roared. Cup appeared. Boom. Efficiency at its finest. This isn't a life altering smoothie experience. No one is writing poetry about it. But if you need something cold, fruity, and capable of convincing you that you are fueling your body like an elite athlete, the Power Punch Plus gets the job done. Three and a half stars. It showed up. It blended. It powered. Sometimes that's all you need.

We normally go to the port royal location. Not very often only because we live on St Helena. But…read morewhenever we go and order the avocado toast, it is wonderful... lots of avocado served on a whole grain type bread. Yummy. Today we were in Bluffton and stopped in to this location. Staff was friendly. But the avocado toast was on ciabatta bread (no one asked what kind of bread we wanted) and it was such a slim layer of avocado. Very disappointed. What I don't know is whether they have changed their toast for all locations and reduced the amount of avocado or was this a fluke or only typical of the Bluffton location. We will go back to the port royal location sometime this week because now I need to know! Oh and we tried the roasted potatoes which I have never tried before. The flavors/herbs were good but the potatoes were not cooked fresh so they were soft/chewy.

Tried the boston croissant donuts and they were a 3/5. Others really enjoyed it but it was too sweet for me. I think I would've enjoyed the plain croissant donuts more. Founders Hash n Egg was pretty solid and same with the Melty Cristo. I put the hash and egg in my grits and it was just what I wanted. The melty Cristo comes on a french toast bread (I think) so I did not like it personally, but besides that it was good. We ordered a crème brulee french toast and it was entirely too sweet for me but others liked it. Overall, the place was clean and had friendly service. As a savory person, I did not enjoy the sweet items but everything else was on point for me.

Our waitress comes to our table and we're told she's in training. She's very personable and we start talking about the area. My mind is in vacation mode and I didn't have my guard up. The first thing I always ask, is the Corned Beef Hash made fresh or from a can?? I ordered the Corned Beef Founder's Hash & Egg plate. Not too much of a stretch: Eggs, toast, grits and Corned Beef Hash that's from a can. They took the hash and made it fancy by rolling it in a pan? The eggs were cooked perfectly and the toast was high end. This was a basic, no frills breakfast in a clean restaurant.

Don't miss the pastry case as you walk in. Oh my! Beware the drool. We found a comfy spot on the porch and ordered a latte and a hot chai. As well as an avocado toast and a pastry case stand out peanut butter and chocolate roll. Our server was as nice as the sunshine and quick witted as well. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. Glad I was able to snap photos before we dug in. Both items were as gorgeous as they were tasty. My roll was even warmed to kick up the decadence one extra notch! The only area for improvement - a minor one - need a sharper knife to get through the sturdy crust of the avocado toast. The standard knife was no match and resulted in making a crime scene of this breakfast plate. Food, drinks and service were all top notch.
