Absolutely worst customer service. Do not recommend. Order was placed through the app. Six doughnuts were selected. I sent someone else to pick up the order. When the box was received the donuts ordered were not in the box. Six random donuts. I went back to the location. The inside was closed. I pulled around to the window. A large man was walking out the back door and looked in the car. I pulled around to the window and knocked and blew the horn. No answer. I pulled back around to the order stand. The man who walked out was now sitting in a blue caprice looking car smoking a cigarette answered. I explained that we did not get what was ordered. He rudely said..'I gave you what I had'. I asked if he told the person who picked them up that he didn't have the ordered donuts. He responded. 'Why...I don't have the donuts so he got what i had.' I asked for a refund. I'm giving this dunkin donuts 2 stars because it exists in a place where there is a relative dearth of coffee options, so just being there and serving coffee is worth something. Unfortunately, the lack of nearby competition really shows. Over a good number of visits I've discovered a few things about this place. It's messy. Straw wrappers on the counter, napkins in the floor. Not really a huge deal, but it shows that no one there is paying attention to detail. They're also always out of something. They've got donuts, but probably not the ones you want. A take it or leave it situation doesn't exactly scream, "we care about our customers". Besides those 2 things, the last, and probably the worst thing about this dunkin is that you can order the exact same coffee drink 10 times in a row, and it'll be a little different every time. No consistency whatsoever. I may go through the drive thru here again if I'm nearby and experiencing caffeine withdrawals, but probably not for any reasons short of those. read more

We are visiting from out of state and my husband ordered a frappe which is the same thing as a frozen coffee, the employee said well we don't have those and my husband said well we ordered one that I drank yesterday and she said WELL DO YOU SEE IT ON OUR MENU!? This place is NEVER prepared! I can't tell you how many times I have been there, ordered something and they have been out of it. I don't know why I keep going back. I'm so fed up with it. They close st 8 pm I believe and they told me they sto making donuts at 6. But they run out at 3, sometimes sooner. Today I went by to get manager specials at a little past 1 pm and they were out. Take my advice, drive the extra 20 miles and go to Bessemer. The Pelham location is such a disappointment every time we try to give them another chance. The Bessemer location has the best customer service in any drive-thru restaurant. They can understand you, you can understand them, and the orders are always correct. This hands down is the WORST location I've ever been to. The customer service is a joke. There have been 2 instances where the "manager" has been extremely unprofessional and downright rude with me. I realize that the service industry can be overwhelming and hectic, but yelling at customers and belittling them when they ask reasonable questions is uncalled for. This has got to be the worst Dunkin' Donuts in Birmingham and surrounding areas. It's crazy because it's not the worst due to the food it's because of management. My family and I went to Dunkin Donuts to get our usual on 7/8/18 @ 9:45 am before heading out of town and once again this particular manager managed to ruin our experience. I didn't get her name buts she an African American female in her 40's who normally works the morning shift. During this visit two teenagers a female and male greeted us and started taking our order. The female was very polite, friendly, and patient while making sure she got our order correct. The young male was the same and explained she was new and trying to help with making sure she entered everything correctly in the system. Again both very nice and smiling and we very much appreciated them making sure everything was correct... the young male had one question for the manager just to clarify and she comes over already with a bad attitude while we were reviewing the order with the young female and raises her voice to try and take over without listening to see what was being said. The manager says let me handle this/now can I handle this towards us very rudely then addresses the young male and patronizes him in front of us and other customers for no reason.... she doesn't stop there as she's walking off she has more comments about letting her handle it. To top it off our food was a mess... cheese not melted, bread hard, and thrown together very sloppy. She made it a point to make sure our visit was unpleasant. I normally don't post reviews but someone needs to know how this Dunkin Donuts is being run. Management is a reflection of the company. I have over 10 years of management experience and my husband has over 15 years... I also have experience in the food industry and on my worst day i wouldn't treat people the way she does. We know what good customer service means and is as well as how it represents your employer. This is not the first time we've had this experience with this manager and I'm sure it won't be the last. The coffee was very old, the employee had no idea about the menu, and when I tried to get a refund because it was so old, they told me to put more creamer in it. This place is so convenient for me and I love their coffee, but they have got a new crew working the place now and ever since the old crew started leaving over the past couple months the service has been terrible.
