The trouble with 7 Brew is that the menu is so tiny and you get rushed by the thru traffic to make up your mind quick. I wish they had a bigger menu sign or one leading up to the where you order. I was here for a TooGoodToGo because their past ones at both locations have been really good for me. This one was good too but it had more bread , a small tuna salad spread, and a small fruit mix. There's plenty of parking space off of Lancaster Avenue, and also ample seating even during the busy weekend breakfast period when I stopped in. You seat yourself among the many tables or booths, and the staff are all attentive and welcoming. The menu has a variety of options, but there's also a rotating specials list as well. I decided to order their special breakfast to combat my indecisiveness and try a bit of everything. The eggs and sausage were especially nostalgic--the slightly grease in the meat and butter mixed with the eggs made for a delicious start to the day. This deli has a good balance between quick orders and folks sitting down for a longer service meal, and undoubtedly is a good stop for a classic diner-esque type of meal.

What an awful strike of bad luck. But like the mythological bird from which the town derives its name, they rose from the ashes, and I had the chance to visit and taste their talents at long last. The Everything Bagel, toasted and lathered with Bacon Chive Cream Cheese was absolutely delicious, and it will take all of my willpower not to make this my sole breakfast diet since it was SO good! A wonderfully fluffy bagel, toasted perfectly, with manifold flavors garnishing its top, and richly luscious cream cheese, with real bacon (not bits or soy) spread throughout. It was truly astounding! And for accent and delight: a large mocha, richly dark and right on the doorstep of sweetness, perfectly punctuated my breakfast today. I must promise myself not to indulge unto addiction hereafter, but absolutely must and will visit again! Cheerful greeting and friendly service awaits all who enter, to the fulfillment of your tummy's true delight!

I visited on Friday 5/15 mid morning. This is one day after their re-re-opening. Ordered 2 bagels,…read more1 bagel with shmear, and drip coffee. I was able to find parking as there was an empty lot. I waited a bit in line because the customer in front of me was taking a while with a flying solo barista. Another barista noticed, and stepped in on the second register. Order was placed and everything came out within minutes. This turnaround is what I expect for a very uninvolved order. Get me out the door!!! They added a few sitting tables in addition to the awkwardly installed fixed bar stools around the perimeter bar. I wish they'd get rid of those. They're proportioned for people with the anatomy akin to NBA basketball players. As I was heading out, the parking lot was totally full and another car was circling about for a spot. The bagels themselves were fine, and not offensive by any means. I'd eat them again. I don't think they're out of this local Western Philly burbs' world special though... My taste buds didn't see the fuss and expectations set for this place by the business, and if this is how NYC bagels taste, I'd go to NYC now. Get it? Tasted like more like a different kind of NYS (state)...Wegmans bagels on their best days. Never the less, it's GOOD to have a bakery that focuses on bagels in PXV's rotation, versus having to head to Chesterbrook or the Main Line for a bagel. Hope they'll continue to improve their craft within the confines of local traditions and make locals see what they're missing without a NY-style bagelry around. With current state right now...not missing much. Edit: Appreciate the business's response and openness to continuous improvement. At this juncture, there wasn't anything WRONG (bagel burnt, not enough shmear, bagel odd, etc) with the bagels I recently purchased, but there isn't anything SPECIAL worth all of the commotion, either. The special is what the business was promising and setting expectations for. Up to the biz to bring their expertise here as table stakes operational issues are ironed out. Not sure what to ask for or provide feedback on. If shooting to bring NY style bagels, go to industry events or bagelries that offer teaching extensions to cross train/knowledge share. Look for mentorship.

Then they can choose to order the dish lacking a key component or they can select something that can be prepared correctly. Sourdough with smoked salmon, tomatoes, cream cheese, red onion, and CAPERS is not the same dish without the salty briny capers. So, big fail. At almost $13 for a single slice of toast without the other items (and not enough smoked salmon to counteract the missing salty aspect) it's sad. On the upside, there were enough red onion chunks to have me breathing onions for several days. The specialty drink I ordered, which is a cold brew with an amaretto foam, was really good. It's a lot of ice and a medium sized drink, so you can gauge the value for the price. It wasn't cheap. I probably wouldn't do it again. But it did taste good. The environment is nice. Old train station, high ceilings, charming atmosphere. Old wood floors, old wood moldings, old ceiling. It does look like the windows have been replaced, but they kept the frames. The space has been upgraded while maintaining the charm. Kudos to the person who did it. Fun to see the trains speeding through the station. It's a great option for people waiting for trains or being picked up. One cold brew and one sourdough toast dish with a reasonable tip was over $21.

Well, it has been several years since I've taken what used to be the R5 into the city, and Wayne was usually one of the stops I departed from. However, the girls working were very sweet and helpful when I told them how long it's been, and they proceeded to let me know I could buy a ticket on the ride into town. Oh as for the actual cafe, they had a lot of good looking treats (especially a chocolate chip muffin) but I did hold back and went with a smaller hot cocoa with oat milk. This was less than $5 (still getting adjusted to reasonable prices outside of my current city), and it was very good! Seating was throughout the narrow space, from tables and chairs to an old-school station bench which I took advantage of while I savored my beverage. There was also a separate restroom for men and women. From the barren station it was, someone really took this space and gave it new life. I imagine it's packed during the early weekday commute, but when I visited, it was almost peaceful with just a handful of people. Looks as though they haven't been open for very long, so I wish them success and look forward to the next time I can come by again while in town (and waiting for what I still call the R5).

The service is pretty good for the most part and I have never had any problems when I go in. I always stop in for their bagels. They make them homemade in a brick fired oven and you can taste the difference. My order is always the lox with jalapeño cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and the salmon. It is outstanding. They never overdo it with the salmon, which I really appreciate because some places pile it on and it throws the whole taste off. Here the balance is perfect every time. I am not much of a coffee drinker, but my cousin gets their coffee on the regular and she loves it. They always have seasonal flavors and she looks forward to trying the new ones. Sweet Brew is definitely one of those spots I visit every single time I'm in Phoenixville. It is reliable, delicious, and such a great little café.
