Sweet Brew Café in Phoenixville is one of my absolute go to spots whenever I'm back in town. It is a small and cute little café with a really cozy feel. The service is pretty good for the most part and I have never had any problems when I go in. I always stop in for their bagels. They make them homemade in a brick fired oven and you can taste the difference. My order is always the lox with jalapeño cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and the salmon. It is outstanding. They never overdo it with the salmon, which I really appreciate because some places pile it on and it throws the whole taste off. Here the balance is perfect every time. I am not much of a coffee drinker, but my cousin gets their coffee on the regular and she loves it. They always have seasonal flavors and she looks forward to trying the new ones. Sweet Brew is definitely one of those spots I visit every single time I'm in Phoenixville. It is reliable, delicious, and such a great little café. read more

I've been a fan of Sweet Brew since they opened. I used to go out of my way to go here, because I love their weekly featured latte flavors and they originally had an extensive menu of unique toppings for their bagels. Apparently, I was in the minority with loving the unique bagel toppings though because they ended up paring back the menu so they weren't wasting food (which I am fully in support of even if it made me sad). So while I don't go out of my way to visit anymore now that they have a more basic bagel menu, they are my go-to coffee and bagel place when I'm in Phoenixville. I was in town with my boyfriend for Blobfest last weekend and we ended up stopping by two days in a row. The first day we unknowingly arrived just a couple minutes before they were scheduled to close, but they were happy to take our orders and didn't make us feel rushed at all. I couldn't resist trying the featured Blob Cold Brew, and it was delicious. I love a sweet coffee drink (the sweeter, the better) and I loved this one with the raspberry cold foam. We also grabbed a Jalapeno Red Pepper Bagel with Garden Veggie Cream Cheese and it was tasty. The bagel definitely had some kick to it, and I like their veggie cream cheese. The next day we stopped in after the Blobfest running races, and the shop was pretty busy. We didn't feel like we were waiting extra long though, and the employees were doing a great job of calmly churning out orders from the small kitchen for the walk-ins customers, as well as putting together take-out orders that delivery people kept coming in to pick up. I tried the Berries and Cream Iced Latte and it was very creamy and flavorful. We also got a couple bagels with Lemon Blueberry Cream Cheese, which was yummy. The shop is small, so there's no indoor seating or restroom, but they do have half a dozen outdoor tables for dining in nicer weather. read more

Call me dramatic but after one bite of their jalapeño bagel I threw it out of the car window. Didn't care if a cop was behind me, they would understand my frustration. It's offensive this business is passing these off as bagels. It's not an exaggeration to say Lenders are their equivalent. Is nothing sacred. I hear another bagel place is moving into phoenixville, and it's gonna be Sweet Goodbye to Sweet Brew if you don't make a frickin change. read more

Untrained staff. I had a big strand of hair in my bagel and upon bringing it to their attention, the staff barely acknowledged it. They didn't even offer to make me another one. I had to speak with the manager to bring it to his attention. Please train your staff properly. read more

I'm not sure how long they have been open but this is a great addition to downtown Phoenixville. I love the different latte specials each weeks. This week was king cake flavor for March Gras and it was delicious! Staff is super friendly and speedy. Online ordering is easy and a great way to grab and go on your way to work!! read more

My first time stopping in today- the most impressive aspect to me is their homemade cream cheeses. I had the fresh strawberry cream cheese with strawberry pieces atop a jalapeño bagel, and that was delicious! Would come back for this combo. The bagels are shipped from elsewhere but they are good. The dirty chai latte was bland, and upon opening the cup and seeing a tea bag inside, I understood that it was just steamed milk atop a tea bag. I think in the future I would go here for a bagel and to Soltane cafe for a coffee. I do like the seating options outside though! Overall, grateful to have a great bagel place nearby. read more

I went here with a group of friends, it was very clean and nice but pretty small which wasn't an issue . Workers there were very sweet, patient, and gave recommendations. I would give 5 stars but coffee was just ok. The flavor was lacking, and didn't really have enough espresso. I would go again just maybe get a different drink. read more

I love sweet brew. I don't drink coffee often but I've found lately that sweet brew is the only place I can trust to make a simple good latte. Soemtimes they're too sweet.... Depends on barista! I always ask for half a flavor shot and it's very delicious and not overpowering. The cinnamon dolce is my favorite thing in the whole world. Idk why no one else does caramel cinnamon? It's to die for! Also love their NYC bagels. They're not made in house but idc, they're actually good. Nyc does the bagel just right so I'd take a bagel from up there versus an in house PA bagel any day. We love the rainbow and jalapeño bagel. What an amazing little place! Located along the main drag in Phoenixville, they offer coffee, tea and some of the most amazing bagels around. The service is fast and friendly. While I was there a line formed out the door. Word is getting around quickly. I tried a blueberry bagel and cannot wait to go back. While I was walking down the sidewalk enjoying my bagel I passed a couple who had also stopped there. We took a moment to exclaim how awesome they are. Good stuff! Go check them out! read more

I read on a Facebook group that Sweet Brew had the best bagels in Phoenixville so I decided to stop in to try one. What the Facebook comments failed to mention was that you could customize these fresh delicious bagels with whatever cream cheese and toppings you'd like. Wow!! My French Toast bagel with sweet cream cheese, bananas, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch was to die for! I ordered their summer latte to go with it- an iced Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte! Visiting friends in the area and stopped into this cute shop. I got an iced cookie butter latte which was absolutely delicious...a good balance of sweet and coffee taste. Also got an everything bagel with their seasonal herb cream cheese....oh my goodness soooo amazing!! The bagel was so soft and tasty!!! If I lived in the area I would be going here all the time. I love this place . It is just so cute and the people are so nice and friendly. They never mess up my order and are super quick and consistent. The food is so good and everything from the breakfast sandwiches to the croissants are delicious. They also have a flavor of the week for coffee which is nice to be able to try new flavors of coffee. But the best part of the place is how they add personal touches to their food and drinks around holidays . They had lucky charms lattes and green bagels for Saint Patrick's day and dad jokes written on the coffee cups for Father's day . I don't know what i would do without this place . read more

It's nice having a "grab & go" breakfast place in town with somewhat of vegan options but it's nothing special. Gets the job done for both food and coffee. And what defeats the purpose is you supposedly still have to wait in the line if you have a pick up order ready. They don't have them out for you like most places. I had to awkwardly cut the line to tell the cashier Im just looking for my pickup order and she gave me a stank face about it read more

I had an Americano and it was very weak. Could hardly taste the coffee. The barista was kind enough to offer an extra shot of expresso but I opted to try their drip coffee to see if it was any better. It was slightly better but still very weak tasting. I admit that I am prefer dark roast coffees, but even Wawa coffee has more flavor. The bagels were very good, however! read more
