The owner is extremely nice, but I do feel a little ripped off from time to time and the ambiance of the place is not the best - not a place I would recommend eating in at.

I love this place in PHX, Heart Stone Coffee, it's a total gem located in the Franklin Commons. Can't believe I discovered this. Very quaint place to take your friend, client, a date, your parents, it's not loud or noisy. Also they have FANTASTIC coffee. Great espresso shots, like the best I've ever had. Peter gets the espresso perfect. Trust me, it's the best espresso ever. They sell Counter Culture coffee, hot chocolate, all kinds of different teas too. But it's definitely a place where there's a coffee culture. And they have great stuff to eat - I'd recommend the ginger scone with an espresso coffee (or a hot chocolate if you don't like coffee). OK, I just want to get across how much I love this place and I'm so glad I found it. Definitely have to pop in if you're in the PHX area. This place is SO MUCH cheaper than Steel City too and you actually get GOOD coffee at Heartstone! They have people with special needs at Heartstone that help out, so I feel like my money gives back in a small way. I recommend you definitely try this place out. read more

Best espresso in greater Phoenixville, hands down. Peter and the rest of the staff are friendly and personable, a giving hand in the community, while making excellent coffees, teas, snacks, and more. Location is relaxing and large, and well worth the jaunt (drive, or walk, or bike) to the north side. They do lots of fun events and activities in the large space; pop-up record shop, live music, children's reading time, game nights, business networkings, and so much more. And all of that excellent stuff aside, the coffee is killer. Highly recommend the espresso macchiato, perfect balance of sweet and tart, getting a nice syrupy consistency with their naked espresso extraction. read more
