The coffee is usually great, and I cringe at the stupidly large markups and just pay anyway, but this time was so bad I just can't ever come back. My coffee was an iced oat milk latte with no flavoring. Pretty simple. Had milk curdles all in it. Okay, whatever. Might ask for a new one, let's see how food comes out. Lady who very loudly asked me "WAS YOUR LATTE ICED OR HOT?" (weird) drops my açaí bowl on the table rather aggressively. Worth noting that when we talked in this woman yells "I'LL BE WITH YOU BOTH IN A MINUTE" and then rushes into the bathroom. Hungover maybe? Later overheard her saying that today was her last day. Guess we should have come tomorrow! Then my girlfriend's drink comes out. This is served in a glass, not a plastic like I got. How come they're in different cups? Both iced coffees, same order. Weird. This lady then proceeds to play with a customer's dog for a minute and a half while the only other two employees behind the counter are a manager and a trainee so everything is moving super slow. Girlfriend's food finally comes out. It's oatmeal, and it's COLD. At this point, I have to ask for my money back for that. K go to the front counter to tell the same lady what's wrong, and she just goes "WHAT'S UP?"- I tell her the oatmeal is wrong and then she says "I'm not the manager, I can't do that," instead of just gesturing or talking to her manager who was literally standing 3 feet away from her. Anyway, I get my money back from the manager, who profusely apologizes, then I sit outside with my latte and it's dripping everywhere since it's overfilled. Just wrong. The whole experience was wrong. And get this, people: a 16oz iced latte, a 12oz iced latte with an extra shot, a bowl of oatmeal, and a very small açaí bowl were FORTY-SIX DOLLARS. This place is SCAMMING YOU. Please go to 260 Bridge instead.

And once we found the location, was even more of a rabbits warren experience to find the actual coffee shop. So you might have to work a little harder to pinpoint the location. Peter has great barista skills. I hope seating gets better and more comfortable. And a big selection of yummies. The location is very interesting with theater and other indie type creative ventures going on.

The café is in a very residential area, actually is at the bottom of one residencial building. Not the normal place for a restaurant... But now I understood why it's a "Café". The menu is not long but has a lot of variety in their plates... You can get classic entrees as Lomo Saltado, Arroz Chaufa, Ceviche or Pollo a la Brass but at the same time you can get breakfast things like Pan con Chicharrón or Tamales. The service is A1, it's a family business and the owners are there being helpful to answer any question about the food and super polite. I've tried it with my parents and we liked service and the food a lot. The place is not pretentious at all and it's not trying to be fancy... Just a good place to eat, drink a coffee and have a good conversation with family or friends. I would suggest anyone to come and give it a try, you will not regret. :)

There's a lot right next to it. :) They are mostly organic, with the veggies coming straight from their garden!! The food is clean and delicious. We had the hummus platter, the egg salad, and the chocolate cake. All of which were delicious!! We also tried the coffee but that was made in the early AM and tasted very bad. Yuck.
