Spent over $50 there for 4 pieces of cake, small cheesecake, one mochi donut and 3 macarons. The cakes were dry. The cheesecake was the worst we ever had. It was almost spongy. I definitely would not recommend someone going there to buy one of these desserts. Nothing there to rave about. Better off going to Fresh Market, George's or any other store. I ordered the coffee croissant donut and seasonal chocolate cream puff tart for delivery. I accidentally received the peppermint mochi donut instead of the coffee croissant tart but I was refunded for the incorrect item. The seasonal chocolate cream puff tart was pretty good. Since it's pretty big though, I ended up eating the chocolate covered cream puffs, with hazelnut filling, individually. The tart crust itself was coated with chocolate on the inside but it wasn't that tasty or edible but the cream puffs themselves are worth it. Since the chocolate cream puff tart is a seasonal item, I do recommend trying it if you see it in the bakery. For the peppermint mochi donut, I wouldn't get it again. The peppermint icing had a subtle candy cane flavor but, overall, it tasted like a regular mochi donut and it wasn't anything special. As a side note, at Paris Baguette, I usually like buying their cakes for birthdays (family/coworkers) because they're light, fluffy, and not too sweet. read more

Paris baguette is the only place we get our family birthday and holiday cakes. We probably get about 8 per year. It's not cheap, at about $40 per cake, but totally worth it. Their pastries and drinks are also great. Sometimes the way they pack your pastries is odd, though. Located inside the H Mart right before the supermarket on the first floor. PB is one of my favorite bakeries. They always have amazing and high quality breads and pastries. Yes, it's a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. My go to are curry croquette, egg tart, coffee bun and cream donut, but they didn't have much selection when we came since it's already 3pm. I believe this is the very first Paris Baguette around the Philadelphia area. There is no other PB that can beat this location. They always have plenty of pastries every single day. I've heard that the Chinatown location got their supplies from this bakery every day. With that being said, if you ever need a cake and you are late(like going to PB somewhere in the afternoon), Hmart of Cheltenham location is your best bet. I used to love this location more but lately for the past 2yrs, it seems to me that their selections have gotten less available. I still love their pastries and cakes, but certain ones just not always available. Their cakes are not too sweet and very delicious. I love their cheesecake too! Not sure how to rate this place because of my mixed feelings i have about it. It was my first time coming here with my sister after we were talking about coming for weeks. We had experienced Paris France in the beginning of 2019, so maybe because we had the breads and pastries from France, we were hoping the pastries and bread would be as good as being there--- but the experience we had wasn't that great. So we have to drive about 25 mins to get to this place and search for parking because there's not too many spots because there's so many people shopping at other stores that are inside this strip mall type place. After we parked we went on a hunt to find the bakery. Once we entered, we were unsure of what to do, they had wooden trays and I guess you had to pick through what you wanted and pay, then have the choice to sit down at the tables or take out. It was a bit confusing and crowded and they really didn't have too many different items. They had baguettes, ones with cheese or garlic, macaroons of about 3 flavors, and some other pastries that I wasn't sure of. I ended up getting a small basket of croissants to try them with my daughter, a vanilla macaroon and a small baguette. I guess I was expecting more from the way the Yelp reviews were hyping this place up. I know its not Paris France and it wont compare to my experience eating croissants there, but this place was just eh. If they had more choices I think it would make the place better. And the pricing is a bit steep, it was close to 4 dollars for one macaroon. read more

Our interaction started from the wrong foot: their delivery truck got broken and my cake did not arrive on time. I was disappointed, this cake was a special order for the surprise party for my friend. So, I decided to buy another cake, what to do. They gave it me for free. But this is not the end of story. I have mixed feelings about Paris Baguette. I've had absolutely delicious pastries (their red bean/cream buns) and tasteless, dry pastries as well. Their bubble tea, either hot or cold, is fine but you can't get any other flavors aside from milk tea. That being said I love their presentation, and all the pastries look good on the surface at least. I want to give this place more stars, but not one but two different occasions, you have messed up our cake order. Today, I spoke with an employee on the phone, and I told her I wanted to order a green tea blueberry cake, the employee told me they don't make green tea blueberry, and only had green tea strawberry cake instead. We ordered the green tea strawberry cake, and when my sister picks up the order, she was told there isn't any green tea strawberry cake at all, and their phone isn't working to let us know. They need to fix this on the menu if they no longer carry this. My sister picked another cake, but it isn't what we wanted at all. I do strongly suggest the manager should have made the cake free or half off, especially since it isn't the cake we originally ordered online. What a disappointment. My sister ordered a cake for Mother's Day. It was also the green tea blueberry cake, but they no longer carry the green tea blueberry anymore and only had green tea strawberry cake. Paris Baguette left a voicemail on the day of Mother's Day saying they cannot make our cake because of the demand of orders. (Side note- we ordered the cake prior online two days before). How can a bakery call the day of, and tell us there is no cake. My sister fortunately was able to get ahold of the bakery, but what a pain in the butt it was for her to contact them. No answer. Left voicemail. No response until some time later. Also, they charged my sister's credit card two transactions for the cake. What the heck?! Not only are they incompetent to give you your cake, but they also charge you twice. This place used to be really great with their customer satisfaction, but I really don't think they just care anymore. What a shame. This place has beautiful baked goods, but what a bad experience on two different accounts. If you do decide to go here, check your credit card statement to make sure they didn't charge you more. If I went to another bakery, the manager would have made the cake free due to their error, or at least would charge us at a discounted rate. Nothing from Paris Baguette. Next time sticking to a local bakery who prides on making customers happy and give what they order. read more
