I'm writing this in hopes that the owners will see it. I would like to start by saying that this donut shop is great. Clean. Friendly staff. Great drip coffee from the local third wave coffee shop. Cute interior. The glazes they use are flavored really well and they're to die for. My one issue is that the donuts are always SO greasy. Like linger on the roof of my mouth, leave a residue for a long time kind of greasy. I'm wondering if maybe their oil isn't hot enough to fry them quickly enough that it doesn't just soak into the donut? I'm not sure what it is but it makes me sad. Pleeeeease find a solution for the greasy donuts read more

Fantastic selection and taste of donuts and croissant sandwiches. I love on the Georgetown Divide but this shop just became our favorite and worth the jaunt over the canyon for fresh and delicious donuts from this local business. Thanks! read more

Great tasting donuts. The chocolate and maple are especially delicious. They have an amazing selection of donuts: filled, buttermilk, old fashioned, and more! read more

Stopped by here on a Saturday around 10:30 am and there were only a few types of donuts left and two or three trays of cinnamon rolls. Wasn't a fan of the donut selection so I bought a cinnamon roll. It was alright - sweet, sugary, not bad. It simply lacked flavor. The interior is dated which isn't bad necessarily, but it felt old and cold. I didn't feel very welcome when walking in. A new coat of paint, signage and tables would go a long way. read more

Best donut shop ever. Not only are the donuts always fresh, but they catered my wedding with 250 people and all the donuts were freshly made just for the event! We got countless compliments on how tasted the donuts were and how good all the variations were. The owner is down to earth and willing to go the extra mile for you, and the quality and price is unbeatable! Get ready to gain a few pounds cause these sweet treats are irresistible! read more

If you're desperate for a donut it will get you by. Definitely not a place I'd go back to. The donuts were either old or fried in old oil. Very dry and my daughter commented that they looked like grocery store donuts. On the positive side, it looks like a family business and a sweet little girl helped get our donuts. read more

This happens to be the only donut shop in town and also happens to be the best donut shop in town. I stop by on a weekly basis and can't get enough of this place. You can't beat the delicious flavor of one of Dunk n' Run's delicate maple bars melting in your mouth. Or the subtle sweet and cinnamon-y tang of their well priced delicious apple fritters. All of their prices are beyond reasonable and they have great coffee too! read more

Great old fashioned donut shop in Auburn. I only visit here 2 to 3 times a year but DNR has the best donuts in town. It has been a family favorite since we all decided donuts are part of a balanced, breakfast, lunch or dinner... Im serious... The raised donuts are proofed perfectly with a slight crunch as you bite into them, the bars are outstanding and old fashioned donuts are delicious! read more

The worst fritter I've ever had!!! It was stale and had zero flavor. The custard was actually delicious. read more

A cute little family run donut shop with lots of variety and friendly employees! Took my kids there once and my 4 year old ordered a chocolate donut but was sad once she had it because she realized there weren't sprinkles on it... the kind lady behind the counter gave us a new donut with sprinkles free of charge and made my girl smile. Sometimes it's the little things that matter most! read more

Went to get a couple donuts Sunday morning. I won't go by. The donuts you could tell were day old. Dry.....also were cold. Like they were in the ice box earlier . Great selection of donuts, friendly staff and good coffee too! Their chocolate glaze is to die for.

They're perfectly fine donuts. It's probably on me for going later in the morning, but the selection was pretty slim, even for a weekday.

Donuts were fresh and delicious today! For awhile they had gone down hill but it was very good today. Everything was fresh. Definitely will go back and try again read more

It has been years since I have had a donut pleased that I went to this place. Take the time to visit you will be glad you did. read more

Their donuts are on point. Never got a stale donut here yet. Prices went up a little bit recently but still worth it. Try the maple twist, better than the regular bar and if you get it fresh it melts in your mouth. The cinnamon rolls are excellent. Wanted the last two blueberry donuts and the guy said he had fresh ones in the back and hooked it up with some of those. Yummy! read more

I have been here often and everytime had the best experience. The donuts are VERY fresh and if I time it good, are even still warm! The selection is better than awesome and every employee I have encountered is friendly and helpful. read more

I never thought I'd be WOWED by another donut shop...I have been loyal to my local donut shop for 30+ years. My hubby's co-worker brought some donuts to work and he brought two home for me. My expectations we not high as they had been sitting in his lunch cooler for 12+ hours. I took a piece off the old-fashioned glazed donut and I was BLOWN AWAY with how good it was...so good that I ate the whole damn thing, and then I turned my attention to the crumb-cake donut, which was equally as delicious! The next day I asked my two youngest kids if they wanted to go for a hike in Auburn that Saturday...AND stop by Dunk N Run for some donuts. It was a HELL YEA all around! We headed to Dunk N Run this past Saturday and we were not disappointed. Not only were each and every donut we picked out heavenly, the gal assisting us could not have been nicer. Along with throwing in the extra bakers dozen donut, while sitting outside enjoying our donuts, the gal came out to us and gifted us with another complimentary donut. Customer service goes a LONGGGG WAYYYY, and not only does Dunk N Run offer the BEST donuts I have never had, their customer service is top notch!!! read more

Fantastic donuts. The chocolate frosting is outstanding. Every donut I've tried here has been delicious. Took a couple dozen into work and everyone loved them - only empty boxes and crumbs by the end of the day. So glad to have a quality donut shop in Auburn. read more

I would recommend this place to anyone. The donuts are so tasty, the customer service is great, and the environment is quiet and relaxed. They open really early in the morning and it's right off hwy 49, so it's the perfect place to stop and get a sugary breakfast (or a ham and cheese croissant) before work. On top of that, it's always fun to bring your kids here and watch their faces light up as soon as they walk in, very inexpensive and delicious. read more

Best donuts ever! I tried them at the chevron station... I know I know, who buys gas station donuts.... this desperate and exhausted mama who needed a sugar rush! Anyway, I tried these glorious donuts and raved about them to my hubby who thought I clearly lost my mind... gas station donuts and all. He tried them and was Just as impressed as I was! Def will be coming back for our sugar fix! read more

Bought 3 donuts for 3.85. Donuts were at least a day old. Horrible product. I realize they are trying to get by, but these donuts should of been thrown away. Very overpriced for old donuts. Nobody enjoys a old stale donut. Very disappointed read more

Love this donut shop! They have the best donuts ever and are always fresh! They provide friendly service and are speedy fast. Thank you!

If you're looking for donuts in the auburn area, good luck. You're limited to this place or the grocery stores, I'd encourage you to plan ahead and avoid them both. Got a chocolate twist at 6am. I should've known better, it didn't smell like fresh baked donuts and the kitchen was dark. The donut was hard and stale, the chocolate was soggy and soaking into the donut. read more

Small town donut shop with love you can taste. A great stop for a sweet start to your day!

Love your donuts! Crullers are my go to, but honestly I have had them all and everything is delicious! Never had an ill experienced, employees are always friendly and helpful. We love to support you! read more

Stopped by here on our way to the Foresthill Bridge and was extremely impressed by the service! We were there just after 6am and had some yummy fresh donuts! When we told the owner we were heading to the bridge for a short morning hike she recommended some other places we didn't know about with beautiful scenery and we went to one of them (The Quarry Trail) and enjoyed it a lot! I tried a few of the donuts and really liked the custard filled chocolate one, the custard is very delicious! My husband had the maple bacon and keeps raving about it. We'll definitely stop by here again when we head hiking or running again! read more
