Service was quick and kind. They have a drive thru which is super convenient and also interesting. You order at the window, then pull forward to their door where they run your drink out to you. I ordered the iced banana cream pie. The drink was good, but wasn't very banana-y. I still really enjoyed it! Okay another fabulous review for DDS! I love the curated monthly specials sooo much. I had to get the salty Irishman today before it gets replaced with April specials. I got it with oat milk, which was a great swap. The salty came out in the caramel, not too strong though, and made one delectable choice for a Friday morning. The service is always fabulous. I ended up getting into line behind 6 cars and was shocked that I still got out within 10 minutes, and the women at the window was still so cheerful and warm, even with it being cold and so busy! read more

Absolutely loved coming here, chatting, and staying awhile to read outside. The banana breve latte I got was super. Definitely recommend that one. Another time we went for the huckleberry latte. Great roast on the beans--no burnt flavor! So smooth and delicious. They have an assortment of delightful beverage creations, and a rotating seasonal menu, including some unique additions, like smoky flavor. There are quite a number of teas and non-coffee drinks, too. The pastries and desserts from local bakeries were a great treat, too, although the ginger snap cookie tasted strongly of fish oil, so that one was weirdly inedible. But the muffin was so soft and delicious--with perfect fall flavor and nice cream cheese icing. The doughnut was fresh and soft, with sweet vanilla icing. And the bacon cheddar scone was bomb-diggity delicious! Highly recommend that one, if you're looking for a meatier, savory complement to your cup of joe. Wonderful little place. I heard this shop had the best espresso in Omaha and had to give it a try! The drive through line went remarkably quick for a busy Saturday and the service was fast and friendly. While I enjoy a sweet drink, I did find that the lattes my partner and I ordered were more milk and sugar than we preferred. I added an extra shot at home, and it was a bit better. If you are like myself and prefer to get a pungent taste of the espresso, I would ask for half syrup! Cute, would go again and try something more traditional like a flat white. read more

From my map app I searched and simply wanted any given coffee shop's menu, when I clicked on their establishment. Dundee Double Shot was the only one could find that had a great, well designed website that showed what we were after...the MENU. Sooooo many sites simply took me to a FB page that had little (and rarely a menu), a Yelp review (no menu), or some other rating website. And...their coffee was great and their pastries were delish! Met the owner, visited a bit (uber friendly!), under their nicely decorated trellis, and enjoyed our visit. I recommend giving them your business. This is my favorite coffee shop in Omaha! Seriously, it's where my caffeine loyalty lives. So many incredible options and I love their monthly specials. The syrup selection is unreal! One of my go to favorites is the Zombianco. It's a blended chiller with finely ground coffee mixed in. I now have all of my friends and my Office hooked as well. This place is too cute! They have a good amount of seating outside but none inside, so keep that in mind. They have a whole wall of flavored syrups if you are wanting to pick one up to take home! The baristas were very kind and so helpful! Even with the drive thru being steady it's such a smooth process and I loved the area to park while your drink is being made. I hadn't been here in years, and felt like checking out a new coffee shop today. When I arrived, there was a decent line for the drive up window, so I opted to go inside to order. The staff was very friendly and seemed efficient for how busy they were. No indoor seating, but they a cute outdoor seating area. They have a cooler full of donuts from Petits as well as muffins, scones, etc and many varieties of beans and syrups for purchase. I ordered an iced matcha and a pumpkin spice scone, and both were amazing!! One of the best iced matches I have had in awhile. Great service, happy employees and they show it. It is a very busy place Saturday mornings. The line was out in the street so we pulled around back and walked in. It's a very cute, warm little coffee shop with donuts, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast bars, cookies, coffee and syrups to buy and take home. They had flowers for sale too for Mother's Day. I drove past it and had to come back to try it out (since I adored the outside so much and I love trying local coffee places). I went through their drive thru and you order at the window. After, you pull forward and they will run your coffee out to you! It was super fast even though the line was pretty long around 9:15 AM on a Sunday. My daughter and I were in the Dundee area and decided to try a local coffee place. Went to another one nearby but didn't care for their controversial "in your face" flyers when waiting in line. The next closest place was double shot, and immediately when we walked in, we could tell they were there for the purpose of selling coffee. The wait was a bit long based on the amount of people ahead of us, but with a drive thru also, a person should expect that. The cashier was friendly and once placing our order, it wasn't long before we had our drinks. Prices are comparable and latte was tasty, although not as sweet as other shops we frequent. Cons are lack of work/study space, lack of outlets, drink quality. Personally, I find the drinks to be too sweet. I requested half the sweetness but still found the quality to be lacking. This would be a good spot for those who have a sweet tooth and want to enjoy a cute outdoor patio. I wouldn't recommend for those looking for artisanal coffees or a study/work spot. read more

I would also recommend to anyone, unless you have an allergy, to try their bagels. They are perfectly toasted and there's the right amount of cream cheese. They have a very small inside, but they will serve you separately from the drive-through. It is not really big enough to sit inside and drink your coffee, but in the summer sitting on the picnic tables out front is very nice and shaded. They also have some small pastries, which are all very tasty. Service is fast, even in peak hours. Stopped in to DDSC to grab a hot coffee before walking to some meetings and was immediately hit with "good vibes!" Something about this shop gives me a great feeling and reminds me of some of my favorite shops up north. There is a lot to shop in just the first 6-8 feet when you walk in. It's nice to look around while waiting to order. It's a small shop so you can see everything and everyone working and it;s such a friendly and welcoming environment. Per usual I don;t stray too far from just a cup of black coffee. I like their brew it tasted super fresh and didn't have any bitterness to it. First time here this morning. A cute little place sitting in the parking lot behind Goldbergs restaurant on 50th and Dodge St. I got the chai latte and it was good. I also got a cranberry orange muffin and that was very good as well. Definitely that again. I love the little patio on the north side of the building but a downside is the drive through. Is crosses directly in front of the main doors and causes tons of congestion with cars and people. Also add to the fact that a barista usually comes out and delivers drinks to the cars that pull up after ordering. The inside is very cute with lots of merchandise, art and other items. Really fun place.... just a sketchy drive through but as long as people are aware and drivers are cautious it should be ok. read more

I really like the setup; there is a drive-thru (that was super long when I got there) as well as a small space inside and outdoor patio seating. There is no seating inside, but they actually have some coffee grounds and other treats for sale inside. I got the s'mores latte, and my friend got a smoothie. We both really enjoyed them. My latte was sweet and rich while maintaining a good coffee flavor. They have a ton of options and opportunities for customization on their menu, so I'm excited to try some other drinks. As a non-coffee drinker, I was hesitant to come here when someone offered, but I am so glad I said yes! The shop itself is small - there is no sit down space inside, but there is a drive-through. While there were many coffee options listed on the blackboards overhead, my eyes immediately went to the laminated "May menu" they had on the counter that had a nice mix of coffee and non-coffee drink specials. On a whim I ended up getting the Violet Lemonade Spritz with cream and it was delightful. It was non-caffeinated, sweet and tart, refreshing, and bubbly. Just moved to Omaha from out of town and when I found this coffee shop was within walking distance I had to check it out. I've only tried a few of their iced coffee drinks so far but they've all been excellent. Not to mention they have multiple dairy/nondairy options available like oat milk, which I prefer in my coffee. However, its not just the delicious drinks that keep me coming back, but the above and beyond customer service. Whenever I walk there with my dog he gets lots of love and attention as well as a tasty treat from the staff.
